Then during checkout, the second lady handed my card back by just placing it on the counter and saying "there you go," instead of handing it to me directly. It may seem small, but to me it felt dismissive and disrespectful. I usually take the time to write positive reviews, but this experience really stood out for the wrong reasons. Not only was that supporting another business (without fear of business loss), but that's how much they wanted to ensure his happiness. It seems small, but it's not. Lastly, he ordered the supreme veggie sandwich. He said it was tasty (it looked delicious). They didn't have honey mustard sauce so they offered to mix honey with their mustard. Simple gesture, but second order thinking! A lot of businesses take note because that is what is missing in customer service these days.
