I really didn't want to post this but it would be an incredible disservice if I didn't let everyone know how horrible this experience was. My boyfriend and I are regular customers to this place and this comes from being a regular customers here but the workers and how they've dealt with this situation was poor. We ordered one drink and one popcorn mild chicken with ranch. There were two workers quite literally not working and just chit chatting and not making the food. There's a female worker making the chicken, this was around 9:18pm timestamp for proof. Took over 20mins to make the drink and chicken with not much customers at the time. My bf ran out of patience by the time the chicken was done and left in a hurry and to come home to see raw batter, raw chicken clumped together and not knowing anything took a bite into it and realized it was raw. Went back to the store, the employees were anything less than apologetic and just said they'll refund us back, didn't even apologize nor felt bad and scoffed in their attitude that they'll partially refund us for the chicken and to take it up to their manager Kavina since they don't have time to quality check their food when they themselves rolled their eyes at me and the girl who made the food conveniently just takes a break since she's the one who put the chicken in the air fryer and didn't care if it's entirely cooked or not. We paid for sauce, didn't even get that. Never ever will we come back and beware of their popcorn chicken, you'll get an upset stomach and I've seen other times that same female worker drop a piece chicken while she puts it in the mixing bowl fall to the floor after it comes out of the air fryer and put it back into the bowl but this is utterly disgusting. Over cooked chicken is fine but under cooked, raw batter and pink chicken is a violation of food safety. read more

Came here in a Saturday night right after dinner because a friend of mine recommended it. However, when we went back to the menu selection it was still going to charge us the price of the large size so how will we get reimbursed? We tried the left tablet and there was a 16 oz option. First time deciding to try Prolece Tea after going to 85 degrees many times. It was a nice walk from Colorado Blvd right by The Cheesecake Factory. It's a small place easy to miss if you're not paying attention. At night they actually have a lit sign in the ground which is really neat. Upon entering you are warmly greeted. Ordering was pretty easy and the staff explained the drinks that they have if you have questions. At the time of this visit the only food items that they have are Popcorn Chicken and fries. Not too bad, something to share while you're there. The dining area is pretty cozy and neat. It's a nice place to catch up with friends while sipping on a delicious drink. I had the opportunity to try their popular drink Mango Tango and Jasmine Green Tea with light boba. Drinks were good and very delicious. The Mango Tango was like a fresh smoothie. Came in on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. They have tablets in the front so you place your order there. It was easy to order and they had recommendations for their top drinks on a poster to the left of the shop. We got a Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea and Ruby Black Jade Milk Tea. The Phoenix Oolong was brewed really well. It reminded me of the Rising Phoenix from Orobae in OC. I will say their drink wasn't as milky/creamy, but it really allowed for the tea to shine through. You can definitely taste the brewed tea well even at 100% sugar. The Ruby Black Jade was not something I was familiar with, so I was not sure what to expect. The drink came out with a slight pink hue which I found pretty. The tea itself had hints of red bean flavor. I could taste the tea, but it was stronger on the nuttier, red bean flavor. It wasn't bad, but I think I would get the Phoenix again next time. When I got the drink, I'm glad the drink wasn't as sweet as I was anticipating but the tea felt very watered down. It definitely has a fainter tea taste. However, I was more disappointed in the cheese foam topping. The cheese tea was not foamy or creamy at all. It was very thin and didn't have much cheese taste (compare it to my picture from White & Brown in ktown). The layer they put on the drink was also very thin. Therefore, average drink. The space is pitiful -- you're made to order on a screen (I don't think you could choose to *not* order on a screen) and the worker/s are separated from the customers with lots and lots and lots of plexiglass. It felt sort of like they were in a vending machine and we were on the outside of it. Drinks were OK nothing special -- I didn't finish my oolong boba tea and my partner loved his taro smoothie with boba. My partner and I got: Chamomile tea with almond milk and agar boba: I think they put a lot of syrup in with my scoop of agar boba, and it turned out pretty darn sweet. The chamomile tea itself was fragrant and nice, but I think the almond milk didn't do a whole lot--which is fine, but maybe next time I should just order without milk. There's another boba place nearby that does the same thing, but it makes more of a difference, so not too sure why this one was more watery? It was still refreshing though, if I ignored the fact that it was slightly too sweet (I got the tea unsweetened). Taro coffee with taro chunks: Once again, I think their toppings are sopped in syrup and they glop it all into the cup? My partner got this with the normal amount of sweetener and it tasted like syrup, even after the ice melted. The taro milk coffee flavor was very nice though--I never imagined that that particular combo would be so amazing together. I really enjoyed the taro taste and it really mellowed out the coffee. However, I do wish their taro chunks were slightly smaller--we got a glob that was probably the size of a dollar coin, and it was difficult to break apart to eat. Overall, this place is okay. The teas are definitely great and so are their combinations, but their toppings make the drink way too sweet. I might give this place another try, but will need to ask them to watch how much syrup goes into the cup with the added toppings. read more

When my husband had originally requested to have his drink be made with 50% sweetener, the employee told us he couldn't because the chocolate already has sweetener in it. I liked this drink and thought it went well with the cheese layer. Peach Oolong Tea With Cream (24 oz), $4.45 prior to tax- I requested for this drink to be made with 50% sweetener and no ice. I liked the way my drink tasted. The peach oolong tea itself had a refreshing taste (I have had fruit flavored teas at other tea houses that were bitter, most likely steeped too long) and really liked it with the cream layer. With these cream cheese drinks, I like to drink it as is to be able to taste both layers. I ordered their Mango Tango, which is more of an ice-blend slushy. It wasn't super sweet and had a perfect ice-liquid ratio. Their Mango Tango is refreshing to drink on a nice, hot summer day. My big concern is that they were not only preparing the drinks without gloves but also the food. Although I did not order the food, I witnessed the servers prepare an order of Popcorn Chicken without gloves. Despite the safety guidelines they put in place for their customers (6 ft. apart and limited capacity inside), they have failed to enact safety guidelines for preparing foods/drinks - which causes me to give 4/5 stars. Not a bad spot to grab some tea. Came in since I saw it passing by so wanted to check out what they had. Got 2 drinks grapefruit blaze and grass garden both of which are pretty good. I really enjoyed the grapefruit one and the grass garden I would see it as a summer drink where on a hot day it would be really refreshing. The location is next to cheesecake factory so would recommend to park at the 90 minutes free parking since street parking would be difficult to find. The employee was really helpful and helped answer any questions I had. Grapefruit is on the sweeter side so if you like the sour taste then get it with less sugar if you want less sugar in it.
