He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

The price was better than 2 other estimates I received and included all of the permitting/SMUD details that needed to be taken care of. The day of the service, there was great communication and everything with the job went smoothly. Israel and David let me know when addition things were going to be needed and explained the reasons why changes needed to be made. The job site was left extremely clean and the work area looks better than when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend them for your electrical needs. A date and time were set. When the day arrived, no showed up at the scheduled time. I had to message them. They responded that the electrician was held up at another job and would need to reschedule. This should have been a red flag warning already! So the electrician comes the following week. He finishes part of the job and is cleaning up to leave. I asked about the other light fixtures I had requested to be changed. He looks confused. The electrician was nice, but English was not his primary language. After some time, the electrician was able to say he didn't have a work order for the light fixtures. He would need to reschedule as he didn't have a ladder tall enough needed for the job. Once again, I reschedule! I called the company the week of the appointment to confirm and get confirmation. We'll the day arrive and nothing! I reached out to the company yet again for a missed appointment. They say the electrician need a helper, and the helper had an emergency. So, for the 3rd time, I rescheduled. Well, the day arrives, and it's too no one's surprise no call from the electrician or the company for the missed time frame. I'm done with the poorly managed poor excuse for an Electric company. If you value your time, steer clear away.

Purchasing different models, but the same thing happened with them, they would stop connecting to the internet and I would have to replace them. I asked a salesperson at Costco what they thought the problem was, he said the consistent thing is your house electricity. Tom was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so happy he did. Tom came out and he and Brian did a complete review of my electrical panel, electricity being supplied by SMUD, and the hookups to the grounds. Which all were deemed to be setup properly. They then worked on the circuit that my TV is on, while they were working on it, the GFCI tripped and although Tom said the power level was correct, he felt that the breaker in the house electrical panel should be split from two breakers on one circuit to two separate breakers; he believed it could help. He was right, I haven't heard the occasional popping I heard from the TV since he separated the breakers. I am so happy with the service provided by Tom and Brian, I will not hesitate to call them in the future if I need further electrical services.
