However Top Rank charged $475 for a simple faucet install...Lowes quoted me $299 for the same faucet install. Since Top Rank charges $99 for an estimate I went ahead and ate the difference . However, the difference in price is way too wide to ignore. I guess from now on I will go with the big box store installation not Top Rank. BEWARE!! For context, I have a tankless water heater in my attic that had started leaking. Dominic came out, inspected the unit, and confirmed there was a crack. Given the situation, he recommended replacement. I had mentioned when scheduling--and again during the visit--that I would be filing a homeowners insurance claim and would need a diagnostic report outlining the issue. I received the quote shortly after the inspection, but the diagnostic report took longer than expected to come through. I followed up a few times over the next couple of days, and while I was told it would be provided, there were some delays in getting it to me. Since the issue was ongoing, timing was important on my end. That said, after sharing my experience, the owner reached out directly to apologize and followed through by providing the diagnostic report as promised. Technician snaked 5' past p-trap. Technician was here for about an hour from time of arrival to departure. Service was $580 which seems pricey to me. Was not able to obtain a ballpark estimate over the phone when scheduling. Edited to add - customer service followed up with me via phone call a couple hours after service and yelp review and explained that the wrong selection was coded and I was refunded $185, for a total cost of $395 for the drain unclog. Called to have tankless water heater checked out due to no hot water. Israel came out on schedule on time and examined the unit finding nothing was wrong. After plugging in the unit, it restarted and was fine. I paid him his service fee of $99 for his time. The good news was he told the truth and did not try to fix something that didn't need fixing. We had an emergency situation on a Saturday. Toilet upstairs was leaking and water was coming through the ceiling downstairs. Dom came out soon because he was already in our area luckily. Toilet was replaced and another technician cut a hole in our downstairs ceiling to be sure no pipes were broken (none were). Everyone we dealt with was very nice and efficient to get their part of the job done. We ended up with a nice toilet replacement (Kohler 360 flush), which works great. The total for the job ended up being $1520 (and this was AFTER some price negotiation with the Owner--it was originally $1720!), which we still believe think is pricey for the actual work done which was basically a toilet replacement and a hole in our ceiling. Don't have anything negative to say about this business, other than the high pricing. It was an emergency so we didn't have time to "shop around" that day, or we would have likely found someone who wouldn't have been as expensive for a repair like this. I called this company first because of the reviews saying their pricing was "fair", but for us, it seemed very high, even with the adjustment. read more

Not only did they show up on time, they explained the situation well with issue of the p-trap needing to be replaced, the existing pip condition and showed up a second time because we called about another smell. Top Rank has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a smell coming from under the house and scheduled an inspection. The next day Deven came out to take a look to determine the issue. Turns out that we had old drainage pipes from the kitchen sink that had eroded and was spilling water directly under the house! Within just a few hours we were presented with multiple options and each was explained. In addition, abatement work was needed to clean the water from under the house. Once the decision was made for a repair, work started the next day, and within a week the water under the house was clean, smell gone and new piping throughout!
