JK Plumbing was fantastic. They came out to our commercial space, gave us a fair and honest quote, and were able to complete the service on the spot. What really stood out is that other companies were charging the same price just for diagnostics, while JK Plumbing actually fixed the issue right then and there. Professional, efficient, and transparent--everything you want in a plumbing company. We'll definitely be using them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable service. read more

5 star experience. Alik provided a very competitive price (while other businesses were trying to rip me off) and was very patient in answering all my questions. My 50 gal gas water heater went out and he replaced it, so not the most complex job, but he was very patient, came out the next morning, and did a professional job. 10/10 recommend. read more

I would highly recommend JK Plumbing. They were kind, polite, and was able to help quickly. They did a great job with the value repair under the sink I needed at a very reasonable price. They gave some quotes for other things they noticed but was not pushy at all. read more

I would highly recommend JK Plumbing. Alex did a great job and explained everything he needed to do to address the under sink problems.

I called with an emergency. I had sewer water backing up all over my floors. I got a response quickly and shortly thereafter my problem was being treated. More than anything, I want to know what is happening, why it's happening, and what are my options. Thanks to such good communication, I had the information I wanted to make important decisions. All this is great but now let me tell you what made this company exceptional. They cleared a blockage on a Friday but I was informed that a much bigger problem with roots seemed to be far into the sewer line. He explained that the cleared blockage seems only temporary because of the presence of roots. It could be years without problems or only days. It was undetermined at that time without a camera inspection. We discussed options but with the system up and running...that was a problem for "Future Me." It was a comfortable conversation where I felt I was being informed without being oversold or pressuredBy 8am the next day, the future came calling...things were blocked again. I called back and got an immediate response. A camera inspection revealed the extensive root blockage and even though it was a big repair, he responded to this emergency and started the repair without delay. Things are fixed. Sewer is operating well and the repair improved my system. I am so happy with the results and happy to call on the company again. read more

Alik was super great. He came within the HOUR on a Saturday night at 8pm to try and fix our water heater. Ultimately we need a new water heater but not his fault. He was kind, communicative, and very fast to respond and come try and help us out. Would use him again in a heart beat. read more

Alik recently replaced a forty gallon gas water heater for us. He was able to schedule our job for the day after I called him for an estimate. Alik arrive the next morning, removed and replaced the broken water heater. While he was installing the new water heater, Alik called to let me know we had a leaky water valve. We went ahead and had the valve changed. Everything was done within four or five hours and our renters had hot water again. We were very pleased with Alik's work, follow-up, and clean-up of the worksite. We would be very happy to use Alik and JK plumbing again. As an aside, Alik's pricing seemed very reasonable to us. We had JK Plumbing replace our front sewer pipes and add two clean outs. They provided timely exceptional service for a good price! Their bid was half the price of Mr. Drain. Very professional and friendly service from Alik and his crew. We are planning additional work in our bathroom due the value of services provided. Highly recommend for complete customer satisfaction. read more

So I was looking for a plumber to investigate/repair a major leak/water spout that occurred using the dishwasher. Response I got back was, "...don't offer the service." Seems strange to be a "plumbing" business that states it offers "drain repair" and "faucet repair" and then reply with that response. Good news is there are ample "plumbing" businesses that actually do plumbing repairs. read more

I contacted JK plumbing after noticing a leak in my electric water heater. Alik was able to come out the next day for a quote on replacing the old 40 gallon water heater. The quote was very reasonable and he was prepared to complete the job on the same day. I would definitely use JK Plumbing for future needs or recommend them to others. read more

I noticed that my water heater was leaking from the bottom with a steady drip. I called JK plumbing Friday evening right before closing time and spoke to Alik. Alik was very kind, courteous, and patient and was able to give me a quote over the phone after simply sending him photos of my water heater and connections. He answered my questions honestly and with clear explanations. Amazingly, Alik set me up with an appointment the next day at 11 am (even on a Saturday!) and he showed up right on time with a replacement water heater. This was less than 24 hours since talking to him! Alik and his partner did the replacement with the utmost professionalism. He explained everything to me ahead of time and the replacement was completed in a few hours. They worked very efficiently and quietly, such that it was completed before I expected. He and his partner even had the courtesy to clean and sweep up all around the area, including the water from the leak. Installation included haul away of my old water heater. Even after the job, Alik was just as pleasant and kind as he was in the morning before he started working. It went as smoothly as I could have hoped and am very happy with the results. Overall I am very impressed with Alik and JK plumbing and they would be the first company I would call for help. read more

Needed two main shutoff valves replaced and two hose bibs. Alik arrived for a consult to evaluate plumbing size before an estimate. Evaluated my project and said he had time to do it all now before his next call. Went and purchased necessary parts and returned quickly to start job. Existing plumbing from original construction in 1971 kind of " tight" but Alik evaluated the "puzzle" and made the appropriate cuts to install two new ball valves in the limited space. Then quickly replaced the hose bibs that were leaking. All done in about three hours! Professional job with the appropriate tools and knowledge to solve installation problems. Prices competitive.Would definitely hire again! read more

Great, fast service but we were charged $650 for an hour of work to unclog toilet paper from the toilet. He did have to remove the toilet and he replaced the wax ring but for that price I could've purchased a whole new toilet. Today is Saturday, i had a kitchen faucet water leaking problem. I called several plumbers but no one answered. Finally I called JK from yelp.com. Jk picked up my call very quickly. He came to my property in about 45 minutes and replaced with a new one. Thanks JK. read more

Alik replied to our Yelp request for a leaking hot water tank quickly and arranged to come that afternoon. Gave us options for tank and tankless, set clear and thorough expectations about timing of installation and what work would be required for each that allowed us to compare with other vendors. We had lots of questions and he was very patient answering them, including how the installation may need tweaking because of unexpected circumstances. Alik emailed quotes by the next day and after our decision to go with him and a tankless water heater because of his pricing, he kept us updated by text on the purchasing of equipment (including pictures). Alik showed up when he promised and kept us up to date throughout the installation that day. The work required patching the wall, and he returned 2 days later to paint the patch as he promised, even though we had already paid him (I know this sounds weird to be a praise, but we've had other experiences of vendors flaking out after payment, even if the work wasn't finished). We weren't available to look at his work so he texted us an "after" picture without prompting. We found a small issue with a faucet after the installation and he was able to verbally coach us through that easy correction. Really appreciated his work and help. read more

Alik was available the same day for a plumbing emergency. The other plumbers I called were saying they were booked for 5-8 days out, and I didn't have water in my house, so I was so relieved that Alik was available that afternoon. There was a leak in the main valve to the house and the outdoor hose bib, and he fixed both efficiently and carefully in a short time. Alik had all the parts he needed with him, so he didn't have to take time to go get them. His work is reasonably priced and he is very pleasant and kind. Called to ask for a quote for a water heater repair, and was immediately asked for the age and brand of the water heater. I told him the problem with the pilot light, and he said that the supplier didn't have the part. I asked how much to replace the thermocouple, and he said at least $450 as it takes several hours to fix. He then said he could replace the entire water heater (after saying the supplier was out of that brand). I called another company and they sent a tech who fixed it in an hour including the time it took to drive to the store to get the $20 thermocouple. JK is perfect for people who don't have any idea that they are getting ripped off, but please don't be that person, and only use JK as an absolute last resort. Edit: This guy called me up to harass me, asking me if I believe in God, and then swearing at me. I guess if you are desperate on a weekend, and this is it, then go for it, but you will be scammed. read more
