I used Jovani's plumbing during my kitchen remodel, and while providing that service I asked him to look at my master bath shower valve which had been leaking from the handheld shower for some time. The last plumber that tried to repair it could not stop the leak, and I explained to Jovani the issue and he was quick with a response of the problem and maybe what had not been done. The last plumber and another plumber stated that I would have to remove the tile to replace the valve. I waited a while before writing this review because I wanted to see if the shower valve was fixed, and it has not leaked and I am impressed with his knowledge and expertise as a plumber. We had had a bad leak underneath our sink for a while and we needed help bad. Jovani showed up early ready to work. He showed us step by step what we needed. He said that our parts had grown old and had calcium deposits on part of them which he pointed out. If he were to try to fix them, he could make it worse. Some parts really needed to be replaced. So, after pointing out what needed to be replaced, we took a look at the estimate and it was very reasonable and fair. We agreed to the work being completed. It was late in the afternoon and he said that he wasn't sure he could get it all done today. He looked at his schedule and said the next available time was next Friday. He then said, "No, this has to be done now." He went to the store bought all of the parts came back and finished the job. It was early evening when he finished. We just bought a house and it had a lot of plumbing issues. I came across Jovani's plumbing on Yelp and asked for a quote. In less than an hour he responded and setup a FREE estimate (this is huge since others will charge you $99 just to come out and look at the problem). He came with his mask and shoe booties (thank you for thinking about safety). He checked out all of the sinks, toilets and showers. He even looked at our water heater. I told him what our issues were and With every issue I presented, he explained what he suggested should be done and why. I completely appreciated that. As he left, he promised to get me the written quote by the next day, but instead of the next day, I received the quote by the afternoon. Since I was getting a lot of things done, I got a different quote from someone else. Let's just say that they were not as great as Jovani with communication plus they couldn't beat Jovani's quote. We decided to hire Jovani and scheduled our plumbing day. He came right on time and worked all day. As he was finding other things that were wrong and needed replacing he explained it to us and if the part was small he included it in the repair with no extra charge from price we agree on. Jovani was able to come to my house on the very same day I called. He spent some time troubleshooting a drainage issue I was having with my bathtub. I explained to him I was hearing what sounded like a leak, and from his experience, he was able to recreating the noise that I was hearing without opening up the walls. When our water bill showed an over-double usage over our typical readings for two months in a row, without any changes in water usage on our part, my husband called Jovani's to check for a leak in our pipes.
