Great service from a knowledgeable professional. Has become our go-to person for water treatment issues. Kind, reliable and fair.

Jose was great. Happy with the installation and the way the system is functioning. Also - Jose is a very nice guy.

It is hard to find both a trustworthy and competent plumber, but look no further than Jose and his company Bay Area Water Conditioning. I won't go into all of the issues we faced with others we've hired to help our home water issues. We are on a community well which poses its own challenges. Jose advised us on the appropriate water softening system and helped us move our whole house water filter to the correct place on the house's infrastructure. He also assisted us in finding a suitable filter system that worked with our existing filters. He did this with a thoughtful and caring demeanor at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a soft water solution, you've found the best person with Jose. read more

We are very happy with our new Reverse Osmosis system. Jose was great to work with. We are so happy he was able to tuck the tank in the rear corner so we didn't lose space under the sink! This was a huge bonus!! We will be working with Jose in the future for our maintenance. I highly recommend Bay Area Water Conditioning. read more

Jose is awesome!! call him for any water services!!truly talented and his work is great!!

I just installed a wafer softening and purification system through bay area water conditioning and I couldn't be more happier with Bay Area water conditioning! Jose is extremely professional and courteous! I was getting quotes from multiple places. Jose was pretty aggressive and gave me a great deal upfront. I did more research and picked out a specific water softening system and a specific reverse osmosis system. Jose requoted me an aggressive price for the system I wanted. Once a deal was struck Jose promptly came to my house at did an absolute stellar job on installing the system correctly and also explain all features and operation! I very highly recommend Jose for your water conditioning needs! read more

Our family recently bought a house and tested the well water to discover several different issues requiring treatment. Several contaminants were detected at levels above drinking water standards. After talking to several different companies I found Jose. He was willing to take the time to talk through the issues with the water and the potential different treatment options and associated costs. Everyone else I had talked to just gave a single option. Once we decided on a path forward he worked quickly and professionally to install the whole house treatment system. Once completed he collected water samples to confirm the system was operating correctly and showed me how to perform the basic maintenance. I was very happy working with Jose at Bay Area Water conditioning, he provided great value and the system he designed and installed worked as intended. A few months after completion I had a few questions and gave him a call, he came out to check the system for me and answered all my questions. read more

I cannot say enough about the overall quality of work and professionalism of Jose with Bay Area Water Conditioning. Jose was extremely helpful and informative . I wasn't sure which water system to go with and he was very patient and took the time to go over several different choices. He even came out on a Sunday because it was my only day off. I am very pleased with his work , my water has never tasted better! read more

My dad used to do everything himself: construction, remodeling, water, some electrical...and all his life he's been loathe to hire anyone to do something that he could do himself (which was seemingly everything). He's getting on in years and just isn't able to do all the things he used to. Numerous water issues stacked-up at my dad's house, and Jose came in and sorted everything out. My dad was very happy with Jose's work and appreciated how he let my dad stay involved in the process and how he handled some unexpected surprises. I was able to coordinate things with Jose over text (I wasn't able to come out in person), and I'm very grateful to him for getting my dad's water situation back to 100% and how he struck a good balance on the scale of required intervention. Thank you Jose! read more

Jose is fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. We called him about an RO system and he quickly pulled our most recent municipal water treatment report, analyzed it, made recommendations for what system and filters would be best, reviewed options manufacturers and designs, ie tankless or tank, and fully explained everything and had it perfectly installed in 2 days. Wow. His prices are very fair and he is extremely nice and his follow up is awesome. Could not recommend him more to anyone in the Bay Area looking for great water treatment solutions for their home! read more

Great guy!!! I thought he had our best interest in part on his recommendations. I recommend him completely.

Jose is an AWESOME and VERY PROFESSIONAL and Skilled Technician. My GE water softener is installed outside, and due to rain/wind, the cover on the softener blew, and the rainwater went inside. The regeneration is scheduled every day at 2 am, and during the process, the moving parts jammed, and the machine made abnormal noises. On Yelp, I was trying to find the company that fixes the softener machines. I came across Bay Area Water Conditioning and called Jose and requested him to come down and look at the softener. He came and noticed the motor and other parts were not moving, like stalled. He did all the tests and checked everything was working correctly. He dried the softener with a blower machine and ensured the device was appropriately dried in all areas before turning it on. His due diligence saved me 1K+ for installing a new softener. Thank you, Jose, for your help. read more

This firm was recommended by a major parts supplier we do business with. Jose Contreras responded to my request for help immediately. We set up an appointment to work on two water related problems. Jose determined and sourced the parts we needed and agreed to pick them up as well as coming to our Napa location to install them and service our equipment. He was on time, easy to work with and resolved the two service needs in a few hours for exactly the amount he had quoted for the jobs even though he went to extra effort to aquire the parts. read more

Jose is FANTASTIC! Besides doing a fabulous, reliable job on the regular servicing of my calcite filter and water softener, any time I have an issue with anything water-related, I call him first and he always helps me solve it. He answers my texts/calls promptly and always shows up when he says he will. He's also very thorough in figuring out the problem. I'm on a well, with a storage tank, and also have a pool, so issues crop up fairly often, and when he can't fix it himself, he calls on his contacts to help. This past summer my well pump failed and after he figured that out, he had his guy up at my house installing a new pump within a couple hours. Not only did they do a great job, but for a much better price than others I had called. I can't recommend Jose and his company enough! read more

I can say enough about Jose and the work he did. I have a Pentair Rom 3. After changing the filters this time the canisters would not fill up. Jose checked every line to my system and installed a new canister at my request. it fill partially once. I was excited. but after a few refills it stopped filling up. Jose stuck with me. He returned a few times to check on the system and replace the canister again. he found a water leak in my water line and replace that too. Jose is a hard and determined man! He stayed with me until the job was finished. Jose was super clean and curtious! I highly recommend him and the company he built! I say call him first!! See if he can help you with your situation. His prices are very reasonable! read more

Jose is great. Highly knowledgeable and responsive. Recommend him to others looking into home water filtration systems.

Jose with Bay Area Water Conditioning is amazing and we love our water now! Jose is patient, skilled, super knowledgeable about water conditioning and filter systems and super responsive. His work to install our Reverse Osmosis system with remineralization was perfect. He worked with us patiently answering all of our questions and provided numerous options for us to choose from. He also looked at options we found on our own, however, nothing we found was up to the quality of system he recommended and installed for us. Jose is such a super nice guy and cares about his work and his clients. Jose will also be replacing our filters when needed. Do now hesitate, contact Jose to help you create healthy and tasty water! read more

I have multiple systems attached to my water tanks to help purify my dirty well water. Although I'm quite confident with the overall general maintenance something just wasn't quite right and my water started getting worryingly cloudy. I was so nervous about calling around for help as many a time I've been charged excessive amounts from the big companies, for simple call outs with no good results (I hate to say it but West Sonoma County is notorious for this!). I was introduced to Jose (Bay Area Water Conditioning) by my well guy whom I really trust and wow! Not only is Jose impressively knowledgeable, he's super professional, timely and efficient. He immediately worked out what the issues were (amazingly as I have a really complex and strange setup) and within a few hours had sent me a very reasonable and comprehensive quote (with a detailed cost breakdown showing full transparency). Upon completing the work he even managed to re-use certain bits and bobs to save me a little more money. Without even asking, he ran several tests to evaluate the pH and toxin levels in my water (at no charge as well!) On top of that Jose provides warranties on certain installs, offering free check ups if anything goes wrong. Amazing service! I cannot recommend Jose highly enough. Personally, I am so happy to now know I have a reliable expert on call whenever I need him. Don't hesitate, you cant go wrong with Jose from Bay Area Water Conditioning! Brilliant in his field and a really nice guy too. read more

I had Joey the owner of the business install a water filter under my sink for all of our drinking water. We live in the town of Sonoma and the water is just awful... The filter that he installed, cleans the water significantly and makes it so enjoyable to drink. I highly recommend Joey in the bay area water conditioning company to all those out there. Joey also tested my well water and informed me that the water was better than the water coming out of the tap in my kitchen. read more
