They helped me out in an emergency, as I am visiting Davis taking care of a passed away family members home and staying there. I went out for lunch at noon 4/25/26 and came back to a mess with a toilet overflowing spilling onto the floor + my shower & bathtub coming up with brown water. The other toilet wasn't working as well since I arrived 4/23, I had gotten quotes and was debating on calling a plumber, but having no toilets and not wanting to poop myself i decided to call a plumber in an emergency. I called Precision plumbing as my aunt had good experiences with them. They picked up immediately. Leo got me his technician Larry to come on a Saturday to fix my overflowing drain & Toilet seal. With both toilets down I called him around 230pm, his tech came in around an hour later and was able to resolve everything for a great price and everything was very cleanly done by Larry in a few hours. I had been quoted on yelp $600 to 700 4/23 to change the toilet valve, and I had assumed snaking the drain/ repairing the other toilet would be 1200 to 1500, + the overflow had popped the toilet wax seal, and precision plumbing got all those things done for under 1000$. read more

My toilet started bubbling. And if this ever happens to you, call a plumber asap! Once the bubbles started I knew I was in trouble, and it was only a matter of time before the pipes would start backflowing all the gunk back into the house. I called Precision Plumbing and they came out the same day within a few hours. Leo was very professional and started right away. He was able to snake the main sewer line and found the problem (so we thought). He gave me advice on how to help keep the pipes clean. I thanked him and that was that. But the next night around 9pm, the shower and toilets started to over flow. Luckily the toilet water was just water. But the shower pipes started to back flow dirt and sludge. I called Leo again. And he showed up in about 30 minutes. He snaked the pipe again and found a second clog that was the main suspect. Once he cleared the second clog the pipes went back to normal. He apologized for not getting the second clog the first time and did not charge me anything for going back on the second call. Over all I am satisfied with precision plumbing. I will use them again in the future. read more

Last weekend my toilet handle feel off; I went to Ace Hardware and bought a flapper & handle to have replace. I called 3 different plumbers and left 2 voice messages and one scheduled me for last Friday but with a $260 initial cost for 1st hour of work. Wednesday morning I called Precision Plumbing here in Woodland and they came right out. Not only that they give senior rates. The handle didn't fit though & he tried one he had; neither worked. He told me he could get one and be back on Thursday at 9:00 am. He was prompt and had both items replaced at a very reasonable cost. What an exceptional service he provided at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend calling Leo at: PRECISION PLUMBING 170 Antelope St. (707)359-9629 read more

Saturday morning discovered a major water leak showing in dining area and garage ceilings and wall. Called Leo at Precision Plumbing and he responded within an hour. Had a great experience with Leo, and his crew Dennis! I had a root clogged main sewer line, and got an estimate from him that was far lower than his local competitor. I was a little apprehensive, but the reviews, and their straightforward nature gave me confidence. The job turned out to be more complex, and more difficult than expected, but they really worked hard, and didn't charge me any extra. Super happy with Precision Plumbing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! read more

In short we had a leak but didn't now till it was pretty bad, made the call and Leo returned call fairly quick. Within 1.5 hours he was at our house ready to go, discovered the problem, showed and explained things to me (shower was leaking behind the wall), he then went about to fix the problem. This is the second time working with him, the previous time was to replace a traditional water heater to a tankless one, also a great job. read more

The valve under my bathroom sink started to leak over the weekend. I called another plumber who was going to come on Tuesday but never followed up on a time and ended up being a no-show. I called Leo after work on Wednesday and didn't expect anyone to pick up the phone after 5pm. But he said he would be by between 11:30AM and 1PM Thursday. He came right on time, got right to work, explained what the issue was, and he was out the door before 1PM! I haven't had to hire a plumber before so I'm not sure about value, but I'm very happy with the service and reliability and will definitely call Leo again. read more

I'm a carpenter with 35+ years of experience so I know when to be grateful that I'm not a plumber. I described the grizzly situation under my parent's house ; Leo seemed unfazed and arrived, smiling, 45 minutes later. They went right at it, found the problem, got the materials, fixed the leak, cleaned up (all under the hawkish glare of a 97 year old chemistry professor I might add) without so much as a grunt. Their card is now prominently displayed on the refrigerator door. Many thanks, Hanspeter Zweifel read more

Leo came to my house to do an extensive amount of work on my waterheater. He had to leave to go get parts. I had errands and decided to leave when he did. He suggested that I leave the house unlocked in case he came back before me. I told him no, I will give you a key. But the hose from his truck to the house wouldn't allow me to close the front door. Again, he told me it would be fine to just leave it open while we are gone. I asked him, "Would you leave your own house open if your not home?" He said. "I don't need your crap! I've got 7 other waterheaters to do today!" I told him to go ahead and go do them. He said, "That's fine. You want me to pack it up?" I said yes. He walked away from a $2600 job because I wanted my doors locked. Terrible customer service. Very unprofessional. I'm not sure how he gets 5 stars on Yelp. Leo's the best - Helped me with a reno project in Davis, running a new waste pipe 40ft under my crawlspace as well as installing new water lines/vents/drains/etc. Had 3 other plumbers give estimates, and Leo seemed to be the most knowledgeable and experienced by far. Easy to get along with and the best part is that he suggests better or more practical alternatives to your project, and even improvements to your existing plumbing. Did not nickel and dime me for minor things. Reasonably priced, efficient, and professional. Recommend without reservation. read more

Oh dear! One step towards the windows in the family room and I could feel an ominous "squish" under my feet. The carpet is definitely not supposed to feel that way! Evidently there was a leak in the water heater compartment that was coming through the floor in two rooms of the house. Panic ensued as it was Friday morning and I did not know who to call. Leo of Precision Plumbing to the rescue! He was at my home within minutes of my call and had the problem diagnosed and corrected within a short time. We had a minor toilet overflow at the base of our toilet downstairs. After calling a few places that would not be able to come out until the next day or week. We found Precision Plumbing and Leo was able to come within 2 hours. Leo and team showed up early and took care of the issue by removing the toilet and replacing the toilet wax ring and snaking the outside sewer pipe that had a clog. About a week later we noticed another small leak that I was able to catch in time that did cause another big problem. I gave Leo a call and explained the issue and he came the next day on Sunday at 7:30am on his off day to fix the issue. The culprit was another clog near the sewer pipe. It's great to have a reliable plumber and someone that takes care of their customers. Highly recommend Leo and team! read more
