Marbury Movers - It's a mess, got a lot of work to do unpacking, but they made it so easy to complete this move without killing myself :)

Can't say enough good things about those guys! Honest hard workers which is exactly what you need…read moreon your move day. Was looking to get a full move out/in service and the prices where so high that I decided to move it all myself (would have never work). I rented a Uhaul truck and then they offer you to add moving help. I'm usually sceptical about the lowest price option and especially when you read reviews about the low priced services, you see how many of them either showed up hours late or never showed up, which was my biggest fear... Something told me that though they had the lowest price that you could never beat, they will also deliver a good service. And sure enough, it started by them confirming via text the same night I booked and following up the day after to schedule the move. Communication was great and they confirmed the day before as well. that already made me feel better! I've booked 2 man for 3 hours. The morning of the move, they showed up right on time, and not only that they were on time, instead of 2 people, 4 people showed up!!! No extra charge but double the manpower (don't know if that's a regular thing or not, but it was sure a pleasant surprise). They got to work right away, had a very good attitude and all in all made the move so much easier. I underestimated the amount of things that we had and the amount of things you can fit in a 10ft uhaul truck, so we ended up having to do 2.5 truck loads to the new place (10 min ride) so we finished the job in 3 hours and 25 minutes so I gladly paid the extra hour (if you go over the time you have to pay in 1 hour increments) and added a nice tip. Those guys made this move so much better and stress free, I could not have asked for better help. DON'T THINK TWICE!!! book them for your move!

A few weeks ago, on February 18, 2026, during a severe winter storm, I stopped at Penske Truck…read moreLeasing to fuel my tractor. Road conditions were terrible, and like every driver out there that day, my truck was covered in dried salt and grime. The salt buildup was obstructing my side windows and mirrors to the point that my visibility was significantly reduced. While in the fuel isle, I noticed posted signs listing multiple services offered -- one of which clearly included window cleaning. Because visibility is absolutely critical when operating a tractor-trailer, I politely asked the fuel isle worker if I could have my windows and mirrors cleaned. I was told they did not have a window squeegee available, so he couldn't do it. That response was frustrating enough. If you advertise window cleaning as a service, you should have the most basic tool required to perform it. A squeegee is not specialized equipment -- especially at a truck facility during winter when salt buildup is guaranteed. Trying to resolve the issue, I called the service side and asked if someone could bring out a squeegee so I could get my windows cleaned. While on the call, I overheard someone say, "I won't have my guys climbing up on a truck to clean windows -- it's too cold outside." That comment was both inaccurate and unacceptable. The window squeegees used at truck stops have long handles specifically so no one has to climb onto a truck. There was no need for anyone to climb on anything. More importantly, refusing to provide an advertised safety-related service because it's "too cold" is not a valid excuse -- especially in the transportation industry. Drivers are expected to operate in snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. We don't get to refuse to work because it's cold. Visibility is not optional when driving an 80,000-pound vehicle. Mirrors and side windows are essential for safe lane changes, turns, and backing. Reduced visibility creates serious safety risks not only for the driver but for everyone on the road. If I had left that facility and been involved in an accident due to obstructed visibility, that raises serious liability concerns. I made a reasonable request for a clearly advertised service directly related to safety, and it was denied. This experience showed a lack of preparation, poor customer service, and a troubling disregard for safety. Don't post signs advertising services you're not willing or prepared to provide. And "it's too cold" is not an acceptable reason in this line of work. Very disappointing experience.

I…read moreasked the agent, Garrett Gravanda, if he had a reservation for a box truck (which ultimately had a license number 4FA1383 MD). He confirmed he did; I asked if he showed that I had already paid $601.21 toward renting the box truck. He said they don't take money ahead of time. So, the money I had paid was apparently to a scammer impersonating Enterprise--although I had the reservation there which seemed odd. Garrett Gravanda decided he was going to start over with a new reservation. I asked if I was still going to get the unlimited mileage I was quoted, he said no, they charge $ 0.29 per mile. My son, my additional driver, asked if we could use his company's discount code to get a better price. Mr. Gravanda found the code in their data base and said he could give us a $ 0.19 per mile rate. We agreed on that rate and Garrett Gravanda told me to drop off the truck to the Enterprise location at Coors Blvd, Albuquerque, NM when we completed our trip. I was instructed by Garrett Gravanda that the truck had 3/4 of a tank of fuel, and to drop it off with 3/4 of a tank. I asked about the amount of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) in the tank, appearing to be about 3/8 full. Garrett responded that I just keep the receipts for the DEF and I'll be reimbursed. On 24 April 2024, I returned the truck to Enterprise in Albuquerque, NM as instructed with 3/4 of a tank of fuel. The agent, Bryan Clark, told me it passed his inspection and that the Laurel, MD location would need to close out the contract. At that point I saw some discrepancies in the bill. I explained that I was not being charged $0.19 / mile (as agreed) and I was supposed to be reimbursed for the DEF (after presenting 2 receipts for DEF) and that was not reflected in the bill. When I dropped off the truck I was told the GPS tracker on the truck provides Enterprise with the number of gallons of fuel in the tank (which doesn't make sense since a tracker provides position not fuel-level), this resulted in another illegitimate refueling charge for 1.7 gallons at $6.05 per gallon. I called the Laurel, MD Enterprise office and spoke to Danielle Johnson, the branch manager, and she told me she was expecting the truck to be returned to Laurel MD. I told her this was incorrect and that we had informed Mr. Gravanda (in Laurel MD) where we were going to drop off the truck and he agreed. She got Garrett Gravanda on the phone who denied any knowledge of dropping off the truck in Albuquerque. Danielle Johnson told me she would call me back later that day or the next day (24 or 25 Apr 2024), but she never did. Upon not getting any further communication from Danielle Johnson, I decided to look at my charges on my credit card; I noticed I was charged $811.20 by Enterprise on 24 Apr 2024. With no communication from Enterprise, I had to assume this is the final charge. On 7 May, my son received a notice from his employer stating Enterprise claimed he had rented a box truck using my son's company charge card for the amount of $841.47. My son did not rent a box truck, nor did he provide his company card to be used for payment. The only explanation we can determine from this is that when my son showed his ID to confirm that he qualified for a discount, the Enterprise agent stole his number and used it to make a claim. This is fraud! I travel 3 months out of the year and rent vehicles on a regular basis. I have never had difficulty with a rental company, prior to this. I will NEVER rent from Enterprise again.

I booked it for May 14th at 12 PM with the intention of leaving the state that day -- a critical move with all my belongings. Despite having a confirmed reservation, the location failed to provide the vehicle. I called over 10 times, was left on hold for over 30 minutes multiple times, and had to escalate to corporate three different times just to avoid being charged late fees for not picking up a vehicle that was never available. Not once did anyone proactively update me. At one point, I was asked if I would accept an SUV instead. I said yes -- and then never heard back. No follow-up, no callback, no effort. Because of this, I've lost an entire day of travel, incurred additional lodging costs, and dealt with serious stress. This isn't just about a rental car -- this is about being lied to, ignored, and treated like my time didn't matter. Enterprise advertises reliability, but my experience was anything but. If you're counting on them for a critical trip or a life event, think twice, and try any other option. Up to this point i have gotten rescheduled 3 times and was told i should have a vehicle by tomorrow @7:30am may 15th. The same thing i have been told every other time...
