I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the carpet that was installed in my apartment by your company yesterday (Villa Solera). The new carpet looks poor and does not meet my expectations. The material appears to be of very low quality and cheap. While the sample I was shown was a solid, uniform color, the installed carpet has dark spots throughout, which look like water stains or marks from dirty shoes. This gives the carpet a dirty appearance even though it is clean. Additionally, every footprint leaves a visible mark that remains for a very long time. Everyone who has seen the carpet agrees that it looks bad. I expected much higher quality materials for this installation. I also specifically asked the sales person/company owner for the carpet certificate or specifications when viewing the samples, but he informed me that he did not have any. I also asked him for Low-VOC carpet (since I have chemical sensitivity) but this salesperson did not even know what VOC is. I was not even provided with the name of the manufacturer. This carpet has significant chemical off-gassing, which is causing me difficulty breathing. Even my old carpet was of much higher quality than this one. Additionally, when the carpet installer arrived, he came alone and informed me that my apartment was listed as "vacant" on his work order and that he was unable to move any furniture. This was despite the fact that I had specifically requested assistance with moving furniture through the apartment management, and the company had assured them that two workers would be sent to handle the job. This error caused a significant delay, wasted a considerable amount of my time, and forced the installation to be postponed. read more

He brought a few samples when he came to the house to measure the rooms. His prices are competitive. I had other estimates to compare to. The carpet was installed as scheduled with 2 other guys. We met at the new house so that he could measure and get an idea about the project. During that meeting, we all decided that using the same original wood would be the best solution. This wood was not a product that Pro Floors sold, but Paul was honest enough to point out that it was still the way to go. Big points for honesty right there! We figured out that I could still find the original wood, and Paul offered to do the installation. Installation is not their primary business, as they make their money on the flooring. Very high praise for this fine business. Refloored a bedroom with a hickory laminate and it looks fantastic. There was a wait for the wood to arrive and Paul, who oversaw the project, kept in close contact. On the day of installation Paul was there as well as two other employees who were also inspecting. They had a final few words with Feliciano, the main installer. Feliciano and his assistant worked quietly and steadily until 4 PM when they announced the job was done. Feliciano is a real craftsman, obviously takes pride in his work, and the work looks pretty much perfect to me.
