Mind you this is a house I just purchased completely empty that just needed gone through and cleaned up before I moved in yet I'm stuck doing it myself after I already paid for the service while I was out of state. Our house is a 2 story 2400 sqft home and it was completely empty when they came. They were supposed to get it ready for our move which was happening the next day. Part of the rate included cleaning out drawers and wiping them down, floors, oven, fridge. Fast-forward and these floors are absolutely disgusting. They're still stuck on dirt in the corners, which means they never washed the floors thoroughly. As I go to put utensils away in the kitchen drawers, I noticed the drawers are still gross, there's crumbs from the previous owners so those were not wiped down thoroughly. Genuinely I have no idea what they did while here. The crew was nice, but the work is absolutely terrible. I still can't believe we paid such a high rate for dirty floors, dirty cabinets, and a sloppy job.

Mr Buff was recommended to me by a friend who used them and LOVED them. Mr Buff is extremely nice and they did an excellent job moving things. There's just a couple of things I'd like to point out- 1) I was quoted $401 to move about 5 items of furniture. I moved literally everything else myself. I was also just switching apartments in the same complex, so no real travel. I agreed to this price and it was fine, but looking back, it took, maybe 45 minutes and $401 base (not including tip) seems pretty high. I wish I had figured out alternative means like hiring local guys for cheaper. So I don't feel like I got my money's worth. With that said - my friend moved an entire 2 story house for only $1,500 and feels like she definitely got her moneys worth. So I'm sure across the board, they are likely reasonably priced. 2) And the biggest issue - one of the workers texted my personal cell phone the night following my move saying he got my number from the paperwork and found me intriguing and wants to know more about me. I did call Mr Buff immediately to alert him. Mr Buff told me to block the number. I am mortified that my personal details were taken from the private paperwork by an employee for personal use. He also knows where I live which really concerns me and the fact that I told on him to his boss. Although Mr Buff seemed genuinely upset over this when I called him, I do think there should've been some kind of apology, alert that this would be handled internally, assurance it would not happen again, and follow up that it was handled. Maybe it was handled, idk what happened, but I didn't receive follow up. Either way, I feel bad I have to give a slightly poor rating because Mr Buff does seem great and like he works so terribly hard and I know so many others have had such positive interactions with the company, but I want to share so others are aware and so the company can reinforce appropriate boundaries around customer information.
