Adding screenshots of yelp response, text from employee, and call to Mr Buff that only lasted ONE MINUTE. He did not care about this safety issue and horrendous violation. Mr Buff was recommended to me by a friend who used them and LOVED them. Mr Buff is extremely nice and they did an excellent job moving things. There's just a couple of things I'd like to point out- 1) I was quoted $401 to move about 5 items of furniture. I moved literally everything else myself. I was also just switching apartments in the same complex, so no real travel. I agreed to this price and it was fine, but looking back, it took, maybe 45 minutes and $401 base (not including tip) seems pretty high. I wish I had figured out alternative means like hiring local guys for cheaper. So I don't feel like I got my money's worth. With that said - my friend moved an entire 2 story house for only $1,500 and feels like she definitely got her moneys worth. So I'm sure across the board, they are likely reasonably priced. 2) And the biggest issue - one of the workers texted my personal cell phone the night following my move saying he got my number from the paperwork and found me intriguing and wants to know more about me. I did call Mr Buff immediately to alert him. Mr Buff told me to block the number. I am mortified that my personal details were taken from the private paperwork by an employee for personal use. He also knows where I live which really concerns me and the fact that I told on him to his boss. Although Mr Buff seemed genuinely upset over this when I called him, I do think there should've been some kind of apology, alert that this would be handled internally, assurance it would not happen again, and follow up that it was handled. Maybe it was handled, idk what happened, but I didn't receive follow up. Either way, I feel bad I have to give a slightly poor rating because Mr Buff does seem great and like he works so terribly hard and I know so many others have had such positive interactions with the company, but I want to share so others are aware and so the company can reinforce appropriate boundaries around customer information. I guess my first mistake was hiring a moving company to clean my house. The reviews for their moving services are great but cleaning is just not in their wheelhouse. I was sent a contract that listed the services they provide and they were not all completed. Unfortunately, i did not take the time to thoroughly check everything before Mr Buff and his employee left. The fans were not clean, there was still dust under my bed and nightstands, the refrigerator was not cleaned the garage was not blown out and the windows were not done. When I reached out to Mr Buff be said the windows were only cleaned on the inside but that was far from the truth and he said he himself cleaned the fans, even after i sent him pictures that showed otherwise. He then told me to go back and read the contract because the refrigerator service is only for move outs but nowhere on the contract does it state that. I am disappointed that i paid for the service and gave a generous tip. Lesson learned. Save your money and hire a cleaning company to clean your house. I reached out to Mr. Buff not to argue but to point out that the job he committed to in his own contract was not completed. I sent the pictures to show him. He insisted that the jobs were done and if they weren't it's because I didn't ask. I don't understand why i have to ask for services he clearly states he is going to do in his own contract that I signed. After writing this review, Mr. Buff sent me a text calling me a "Karen". That is the level of professionalism you can expect from him. I wasn't looking for an argument, I wanted to point out that he didn't do the job he said he was going to do. The pictures don't lie. I would have never reached out to him if the job was done correctly. He even went out of his way to laugh at this review from his personal yelp account. I honestly can't thank Mr. Buff and his team enough. Prior to reaching out to his team I had contacted conventional cleaning services for work in my home and all had declined it because of the scale of the mess. Then I contacted deep cleaning/biohazard cleaning services and they all quoted me numbers that were simply out of reach for most people. I was in a situation where my house was too messy for one group and the other had priced me out and put other conditions on the work that made it impossible. Then I called Mr. Buff, I was already near tears because of how tough this has been. He provided a quote after I supplied photos that was lower than I expected and he told me that he could have his team out same day! His crew arrived a little after six pm and they worked until 10. They really utterly transformed the space. The floor is safe to walk on again and is clean; surfaces are free of caked on grime and trash and all of the appliances might as well have been reborn. It's just amazing. They even hauled off all of the trash too! I can't underscore enough that for the work they did it was life changing for me. And for those with limited mobility or additional challenges they are kind, caring and their work is AWESOME. My life has mostly been stress for the last few weeks but the service here was a welcome respite and not only will work with them again I would recommend them to anyone needing cleaning service. The service from this company is great. I felt bad cause I made a same day appointment and had to cancel due to Walmart selling me the wrong tv but they worked with me and came the next morning. I usually mount my own TVs but this one was huge and I'm 2 months pregnant but they came and went straight to work and were done in less than 30 minutes he even installed my sound bar for me and I didn't know it could mount with the tv lol.
