UPDATING MY REVIEW WITH SCREENSHOTS. Why would you post my address and personal number to yelp?? WTH?? 1000000% do not recommend these people. Adding screenshots of yelp response, text from employee, and call to Mr Buff that only lasted ONE MINUTE. He did not care about this safety issue and horrendous violation. Buff - if you don't have an employee named Trey, WHY DID YOU SAY I WILL TALK TO TREY on the phone immediately after? Why does your comment on Google (also added) say he is no longer with the company??? Why do you also apologize for it?? Come on now. You look shady denying it now. Additionally, my review said so many nice things. Your response is terrible. You're making yourself look bad. List of items they moved: Couch TV TV stand Lamp Desk Mirror Coffee table Adding more screenshots of Buffs reply to my review. PLEASE share the pics of my items. I 100% guarantee there were no boxes. Also - my original review is really nice! (Pasted unedited below). I say service was good. My complaint is how you handled the situation and are handling it now. You're lying and being shady and freaking out because you couldn't take accountability for your business practices. God I hope this review finds someone and they stay the hell away from this company. I've also received threatening phone calls regarding my review and filed a police report. Along with a consumer complaint with the attorney general for posting my personal home address and number publicly online. Shame on you. You're ridiculous and acting like a child. Keep changing your replies. I'm getting email notifications and screenshotting all of them. ORIGINAL UNEDITED POST: I sincerely dread posting this review but I think it is necessary. Mr Buff was recommended to me by a friend who used them and LOVED them. Mr Buff is extremely nice and they did an excellent job moving things. There's just a couple of things I'd like to point out- 1) I was quoted $401 to move about 5 items of furniture. I moved literally everything else myself. I was also just switching apartments in the same complex, so no real travel. I agreed to this price and it was fine, but looking back, it took, maybe 45 minutes and $401 base (not including tip) seems pretty high. I wish I had figured out alternative means like hiring local guys for cheaper. So I don't feel like I got my money's worth. With that said - my friend moved an entire 2 story house for only $1,500 and feels like she definitely got her moneys worth. So I'm sure across the board, they are likely reasonably priced. 2) And the biggest issue - one of the workers texted my personal cell phone the night following my move saying he got my number from the paperwork and found me intriguing and wants to know more about me. I did call Mr Buff immediately to alert him. Mr Buff told me to block the number. I am mortified that my personal details were taken from the private paperwork by an employee for personal use. He also knows where I live which really concerns me and the fact that I told on him to his boss. Although Mr Buff seemed genuinely upset over this when I called him, I do think there should've been some kind of apology, alert that this would be handled internally, assurance it would not happen again, and follow up that it was handled. Maybe it was handled, idk what happened, but I didn't receive follow up. Either way, I feel bad I have to give a slightly poor rating because Mr Buff does seem great and like he works so terribly hard and I know so many others have had such positive interactions with the company, but I want to share so others are aware and so the company can reinforce appropriate boundaries around customer information. You can also see I called immediately after receiving the terrible text message. Gross. read more

I used Mr Buff 4.5 years ago and still remember how kind they were. We didn't even have to lift a finger the entire time and it was extremely quick. Mr Buff's was by far the best moving service I have ever used. They were professional, on time, and reliable. They moved my out of a storage unit back into my home. They treated my furniture and large appliances with such care and respect. They were an absolute great value for all the work they did. They did not pull up in a rented white truck, they have professional equipment. I thank you them for taking care of my move. read more

With a busy schedule and family coming into town we struggled to find an affordable and quick responding cleaning service. Mr. Buff answered the call! We got booked 2 days after making our first inquiry and their flat rate service was amazing. Their crew came in and the house is spotless- even the windows! Will definitely be keeping them around. read more

This is the second time we used Mr. Buff's moving services. Last time was a local move this time AZ to Northern CA. Mr. Buff and his wife are responsive and great at communicating. They treated our furniture and packed items with care. They were reasonable and we received our items in less than 2 days. His rates are reasonable and very competitive. Plus they don't sub the work out so he packs and unpacks his own truck. Highly recommend !!! read more

I guess my first mistake was hiring a moving company to clean my house. The reviews for their moving services are great but cleaning is just not in their wheelhouse. I was sent a contract that listed the services they provide and they were not all completed. Unfortunately, i did not take the time to thoroughly check everything before Mr Buff and his employee left. The fans were not clean, there was still dust under my bed and nightstands, the refrigerator was not cleaned the garage was not blown out and the windows were not done. When I reached out to Mr Buff be said the windows were only cleaned on the inside but that was far from the truth and he said he himself cleaned the fans, even after i sent him pictures that showed otherwise. He then told me to go back and read the contract because the refrigerator service is only for move outs but nowhere on the contract does it state that. I am disappointed that i paid for the service and gave a generous tip. Lesson learned. Save your money and hire a cleaning company to clean your house. I reached out to Mr. Buff not to argue but to point out that the job he committed to in his own contract was not completed. I sent the pictures to show him. He insisted that the jobs were done and if they weren't it's because I didn't ask. I don't understand why i have to ask for services he clearly states he is going to do in his own contract that I signed. After writing this review, Mr. Buff sent me a text calling me a "Karen". That is the level of professionalism you can expect from him. I wasn't looking for an argument, I wanted to point out that he didn't do the job he said he was going to do. The pictures don't lie. I would have never reached out to him if the job was done correctly. He even went out of his way to laugh at this review from his personal yelp account. I'm glad Ledarius L., aka Mr Buff found it funny. Not only was the cleaning service sub par but the professionalism was as well. Satisfaction is NOT a guaranteed!! read more

I wish I could give Mr. Buff 10 stars because our move went so smoothly with him and his crew. Mr. Buff knew my anxiety and stress level was high so he came on Sunday the day before our actual move to start the process, who does that! Also, he did not add any additional money to his quote. They did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend him and his crew for moving. read more

Needed to hire a mover to pack and load my son's apartment in Phoenix Arizona into a trailer so we could take it to California. I got estimates from 8 different moving companies. After talking to all of them and getting quotes I decided on Mr. Buff. This is a Husband and wife Family owned business. I booked the the move a month in advance. They sent me a Doc you sign contract spelling everything out. It was reassuring and professional that they conduct business that way. The day before the move Mr. BUFF reached out to me and confirmed our appointment. The morning of the move I received a text letting me know that they were on their way. They arrived on time with all the Materials Needed for packing and wrapinall items needed to ensure a safe move. read more

Excellent service!, highly reliable, family business. Mr Buff moved me from Southern California to Phoenix he gave me a fixed price and we agreed on dates. He fully lived up to his commitments and my move went as good as it could have gone read more

We were swapping refrigerators from one house to another. We received several quotes and after a few messages, we felt confident that Mr. Buff was a good choice and was also one of the low bids. He was only one of two willing to give a flat rate, not an hourly rate, requiring us to "guess" how long the job would take. Mr. & Mrs. Buff (as I referred to them) were very professional, doing everything necessary to get the refrigerators out of the house's doors (removing the handles). They got the job done in a timely manner and were professional, and polite. I highly recommend Mr. Buff Personal Mover. read more

These guys really deserve 1,000 stars! I just had them move some very heavy furniture for me for the second time and once again they went above and beyond and did not disappoint! I very highly recommend this company. If you are looking for help with pretty much anything, call these guys because they will be there when they say they will and they will work very hard, they are some of the hardest working people I've hired! They are on my speed dial, it's so nice to know someone who's competent and really great people in general! They are very respectful and trustworthy and because of all of that they will always be the first call I make when looking for someone to give me a hand with something! read more

I recently hired Mr. Buff to my stuff out of a large storage unit. It turned out to be a bigger and more complicated move than expected, with 2 unloading locations. Mr. Buff and crew were awesome! They were friendly, professional and patient the entire time. I would definitely hire them again. Thanks, Mr. Buff!!! read more

What a great moving company. Mr. Buff and his partner are a great team. They helped us with our move. Always on time, responsive and kind. They got the job done fast and efficient. We have used Mr. Buff multiple times over the last year for moving services. We cannot say enough about how great he is. He's careful, strong, and took good care of our things. I was referred to Mr Buff by a family member and I was not disappointed! Mr Buff + Ayisha were able to move my furniture and boxes from the 2nd floor apartment in 1hr 30mins and all my items arrived safely at my new home. The fridge didn't fit through the door and Mr. Buff removed the door for the fridge in and in place with no hiccups. As far as price it was the best I found and they also had 1 price. No having to worry if the move takes too long and you have to be charge for additional time. I highly recommend their services. read more

Awesome move services one guy dropped some boxes but we didn't use the nicest boxes either, also mounted a TV for me. 4 stars because the tv mount wasn't the greatest yes they got the tv up but a was definitely higher than I asked for and the whole here the cord hider wall was cut was a little sloppy and they filled my trash can up with wrappings from the move without asking me, Overall awesome crew, absolutely the best price - flat rate no guessing (I called around like 10 moving companies), and quick work, thanks guys! read more

I honestly can't thank Mr. Buff and his team enough. Prior to reaching out to his team I had contacted conventional cleaning services for work in my home and all had declined it because of the scale of the mess. Then I contacted deep cleaning/biohazard cleaning services and they all quoted me numbers that were simply out of reach for most people. I was in a situation where my house was too messy for one group and the other had priced me out and put other conditions on the work that made it impossible. Then I called Mr. Buff, I was already near tears because of how tough this has been. He provided a quote after I supplied photos that was lower than I expected and he told me that he could have his team out same day! His crew arrived a little after six pm and they worked until 10. They really utterly transformed the space. The floor is safe to walk on again and is clean; surfaces are free of caked on grime and trash and all of the appliances might as well have been reborn. It's just amazing. They even hauled off all of the trash too! I can't underscore enough that for the work they did it was life changing for me. And for those with limited mobility or additional challenges they are kind, caring and their work is AWESOME. My life has mostly been stress for the last few weeks but the service here was a welcome respite and not only will work with them again I would recommend them to anyone needing cleaning service. Simply the best. read more

WOW! Amazing moving company. Never heard of a flat rate moving company and having now experienced it, I can't go back to the old way. He's fast, accommodating and communicates excellently. Helped get my stuff from one end of the Valley to the other, as well as make a stop to drop some of it off on the way to the storage. Unheard of level of customer service. Will definitely use again and recommend. read more

The service from this company is great. I felt bad cause I made a same day appointment and had to cancel due to Walmart selling me the wrong tv but they worked with me and came the next morning. I usually mount my own TVs but this one was huge and I'm 2 months pregnant but they came and went straight to work and were done in less than 30 minutes he even installed my sound bar for me and I didn't know it could mount with the tv lol. I do plan on getting another TV mounted soon and will be getting their services again. read more

We hired Mr Buff to help load/unload our POD for our move across town and the service was top notch. Mr Buff's team was careful with our items and were extremely good at making the most out of every inch of the POD's volume. Unload at the new house was equally as impressive. They work quick, but consciously as to not damage a single belonging or the home. Cannot recommend Mr Buff enough, no one does it better! read more

Absolutely the best movingly experience. Arrived on time, didn't waste any time before they started in on it. The best part was the pricing. We have had bad experiences with per hour movers before.
