I have been trying to find a declutter/cleaning service for a while now. Well... I've needed one for a LONG time and just finally worked up the courage to admit it was was now or never. Eddie was extremely friendly and helpful over the phone for our initial consultation. I explained to him that I had a lot of mess and just didn't know where to start. I was able to get an appointment the following week and they made sure their team arrived after my flight landed. Obie and Lena showed up and were incredible right from the beginning- especially since I had no idea where to start and was extremely overwhelmed with how disorganized and messy my apartment had become. They got right too work. We shared some great conversations and a few laughs. They were very diligent in getting all of my various bags unpacked and put away. I was not anticipating that they would even do and fold my laundry- which was one of the most daunting tasks. The kitchen is spotless. The clutter is gone. The bathroom is sparkling. Bags and suitcases that have been hanging around for months were finally unpacked, organized and everything was put away in its rightful home. I was extremely satisfied with the level of service I received and as anxious and overwhelmed as I was... we had fun! Truly great and genuine people. Wow - Was using this business once a month to clean our very small rental (1500 sf) in Tempe. How quickly a business can disappoint. Was happy with this company until they called me up out of the blue last year and said "Your cleaning fee is going up from $115 to $155. 35% increase and no explanation. Take it or leave it. I chose to leave and find someone else. I pay $150 to have my 3200 sf house in Chandler cleaned. Why would I pay more to have a house half the size cleaned? In my opinion, very bad customer service doing this to a customer. read more

I had to arrange move-out cleaning in short-notice in advance of the new tenant move-in. I sent out many estimate requests over the weekend through yelp as I'm an out-of-state landlord as the usual cleaning lady that the agent used to work with were fully booked. Clean Geeks not only has among the best price (cheaper than the usual cleaning lady and considerably cheaper than those franchise cleaning services), but more importantly, they're the most responsive with a detailed list of what items and services would be covered, so I didn't have to wonder what a move-out cleaning etc. really covered. They also communicated real time as to the time of estimated arrival, job completion etc., which was very helpful for me to monitor remotely as they used the realtor lockbox for access themselves. Moreover, when our new tenant mentioned some minor areas that were missed but wasn't really complaining, just because I specifically asked them to inspect for cleaning when they arrived, Clean Geeks took the feedback seriously and sent their crew to go back the next day to clean to our tenant's satisfaction without me asking, based on their 100% satisfaction guarantee which I appreciate. Clean Geeks is my new obsession. They are safe, reliable, efficient, kind and easy! It's exactly the kind of help I needed right before the crazy holiday season. I'm beyond words, their work is so wonderful. My house looks and feels the cleanest it's ever been. I'll keep it simple....called to get my kitchen, bathrooms, and floors cleaned and they went above and beyond. They did a deep clean of all the things I hate to detail (oven, shower glass, ceiling fans). Being a very detailed person in my cleaning I was skeptical and just thought " I'll go behind and clean anything they missed." Welp I had a easy night. I DID NADA. They knocked it out the park. Interviewed and Hired Eddie and his team to clean my vacation rental condo in Scottsdale. What a disaster that was! --- Kitchen floor was dirty, sticky and had not been mopped ---Greasy fingerprints on outside of microwave ---Bottle of liquor left in fridge and no waters restocked in fridge that I provide for my guests ---Greasy fingerprints on sliding glass door never cleaned ---Master bedroom furniture was completely shifted to within inches of the sliding glass door and never re-centered after cleaning ---toiletries from prior guest were never removed ---No extra trash can liners for all trash cans were never left out for guests from my supply When I initially met with Eddie he reassured me that his cleaners were professionally trained in the vacation rental business. Eddie took pictures of all the rooms in my condo and reassured me his cleaners would use these pictures as a guideline when completing their cleaning. Clearly they do not do this! Because all of my bullet points above were NOT what he took pictures of. My condo was perfectly staged when I interviewed him and his cleaners failed miserably! They never opened my owners closet to restock any items that I provide for my guests. Example...waters were not restocked and I always supply a thank you card and a bottle of wine to my guests. Eddie's team could not even put out a thank you card, which was in the owner's closet that they never opened. When I voiced my concerns to Eddie, while we were both in my condo, he seemed to think their cleaning job was satisfactory and insisted that people do make mistakes and perhaps I was being a little judgmental about all of this. Shortly thereafter, he called my husband and QUIT...AFTER ONE CLEANING! The vacation rental business is a lucrative business. When you are a host, such as myself who does pretty darn well $$, takes pride in her home, always takes care of her guests, presentation and cleanliness speak volumes. My reviews are my reward for that. So putting a guest in a dirty home, having to move furniture around and buying supplies that normally would have been supplied for them is simply not an option. "Clean" up your act Clean Geeks, because there's a lot of competition out there and there is ALWAYS someone better. read more

I had monthly cleanings and they started out on fire for the first 6 months. Cleaned well, and did what they were supposed to do. Then they started sliding backwards. My original monthly appointments were scheduled between 9a-10a but then the next monthly appointments kept getting scheduled later and later in the day. Many times, they arrived well after the window of time given, with no warning or explanation. I requested to have my original time back but was given an explanation that they were working on the schedule and route and that was the best they could do. Missed items in rooms were not cleaned, dusted or wiped down so I would take pictures and send to the company. They would offer to return to make things right but I would decline. My thought process was they shouldn't have missed them in the first place. They did break a few items and offered to replace and again, I declined. Most times, non-English speaking cleaners would be sent to clean so I would have to point and nod or shake my head in hopes they understood what they were supposed to do. Frustrating. The one item that they never ever mastered was moving the items on the shelves to dust or wipe clean and never placing the items back the way they were. I always had to go in behind them and arrange the shelf, kitchen, bedrooms, living room, etc. items to their original places 100% of the time. They haven't quite mastered or standardized their employee training as each crew, who is different every month, cleans differently so each month there's a different issue at hand. Will not really recommend them but if you really don't care about timing, what's been missed or how things are arranged after they clean, then give them a call. read more
