I never used this business. But! Corey should take responsibility like he does for his business..... especially when 2 of his employees who hit my truck and the driver admitted was his fault. Found out from my insurance company , he has no Insurance with the information he gave me for his truck. Red Flag !! Corey wouldn't give me his insurance when I spoke to him.. Clean Genie stopped by my house this morning to tackle our carpets and tile floors. The owner, Cory, has the swagger and looks of a young James Dean. He stretched out his massive hoses across my driveway, strolled into the house to take a look at the task at hand, then sprung into action! Before I could say "Abra Cadabra", Cory and his crew had my floors treated, shampooed, and rinsed. My floors look brand new again. So much so that I've been doing Parkour around the house all day, using end tables, garbage cans, and my wife, just so I don't desecrate my pristine Clean Genie surfaces. Only leaving one star because I can't leave zero. This company charged 705 dollars to clean a house i rented. Said it was "filthy, the people that lived there never washed their hands. I wouldn't want to receive my house back in the condition that gentleman did". When asked for proof of these allegations via before and after pictures, the employee said "we usually take before and after pictures but we didn't in this case". Hmmmm. I DID take pictures as I KNOW I left the house clean. I left a review on their Facebook page along with the pictures of the house how we left it and have received NO response and they deleted my post from their Facebook page. Awesome service! I was nervous to have someone come to my home and clean my carpet, however, my nerves were put at ease within 5 minutes of him being here. I have two toddler boys who are very active and well my carpet shows it :) The gentleman that was very professional, he took pride in his work and paid attention to detail. He did his walk through and explained what he will do and how long it will take etc. I was very satisfied with his customer service and the outcome. My carpet (stairs, 4 rooms) look good as new! Amazing! We are getting ready to sell our house and we have long neglected our kids' bedroom carpeting. For years. It was full of stains. The rest of our house has wood flooring, so we've just turned a blind eye to the carpeting in the kids rooms. So before we get pictures taken of our house it dawns on me that the carpeting will look a mess. I call Cory in a panic, needing my carpets cleaned next day. Cory fit me in before his first scheduled job and was at my house on time and was very professional. I wasn't expecting too much from my long-neglected carpeting but he did an AMAZING job. Also, even though he did have to pre-treat the carpeting (did I mention their condition?!), there was no "chemical" smell as I've experienced with some other carpet cleaners in the past. We were moving out of a rental and buying our own house. We needed someone to come in and clean everything we didn't want to and to make the house look move-in ready for the landlords. We had lived there 4 yrs with 2 kids and several pets. Cory and his business, Clean Genie, were highly recommended by an acquaintance. He took off the shower doors/closet doors, power washed them, cleaned out the closet tracks even! The tile and carpets turned out fabulous as well. While we were packing, a small sample bottle of nail polish fell down the bathroom drain and I totally forgot about it. I'm sadden these guys didnt work out for me. While they agreed to use natural products I had made for them they, did not. Instead using straight vinegar. Which was fine but didn't clean as well as the products I had made. I felt as if I was working for them when I made requests or brought attention to substandard cleaning. They came every other week. I monitored a comprehensive estate cleaning for a friend. The task was huge. Clean Geni gave us all we wanted, and more. The firm was communicative, the effort was complete. Each member of the team was meticulous, thorough, friendly, and punctual. The job included the cleaning of counter-tops, floors, windows, blinds, exterior screens, cupboards, pantry, carpeting, bathrooms, garage, walkways. The firm was careful to include the cleaning of the fridge interior(and the floor beneath the fridge), oven, and every commode. These folks cleaned areas which seemed inaccessible to me. All floors were gone over multiple times. Not to forget -- Clean Geni removed trash and other items, took some to donation centers. Cost? I hired Clean Genie out of desperation as the original service I hired canceled on me the same day I needed them to clean a move-in property. So at 7:30 am, I pounded the pavement, so-to-speak, and Clean Genie came to the rescue. It must have been divine intervention that the other service canceled because I couldn't have gotten better service to save the day if I would have had 6 months to search for them. I found Clean Genie on Yelp, contacted Cory on Fri afternoon and he was able to squeeze me in Sat before Easter, quoted $132 for all the carpet in my house: large family room and 3 BRs w 2 walk-in closets. Maybe I could find cheaper but no time... I am so glad I did not. WOW, I am seriously impressed with his Hot Water Extraction (HWE) equipment, especially the rotary extractor! Never seen or heard of it , soooo much better than ChemDry or the steamwand. My carpet looks like new, it dried quickly and the longer nap is standing at attention and saluting!. Cory was professional and motivated and took pride in his service and equipment, and wanted my satisfaction...rare in carpet cleaners. He even helped me move 6 night stands. I'll happily pay a few bucks more for stellar vs a $99 soggy sort of clean that takes days to dry. I can't believe how thrilled I am over carpet cleaning, but I am!
