I came here numerous times for my UH Manoa classes and each time I went, I left the store satisfied. The past two times I came here for my Papermaking class which is where I make my own paper and needed to print something on it. Fedex and UH Manoa's printing office wouldn't allow it, but Professional Image Inc did which made me extremely grateful. On the first occasion, the customer service representative, David was skeptical, but optimistic and eager to help. He printed two black and white images from my USB onto regular paper and then scanned it to print on my handmade paper. It was a time-consuming process, but he persevered and delivered two beautiful images on my handmade papers for $2 in total. The second time, I brought larger papers (8x13") and did it in color. David was there to help and worked through trial and error to deliver 13 beautifully colored photos and text for my art project. I was blown away and extremely happy with how each of my art projects turned out. (FYI, the colored copies on handmade paper was $1.50 each, I think). I would definitely come again since it's close to UH. If you are having difficulty finding it, look for 7-11 and Professional Image Inc. should be across the street. Weddings. Who knew weddings required so much paper?! With the help of this place, we were able to print out our wedding invitations for an affordable price. David and the rest of the crew insured us of the quality printing they do (did you know they also print out books for some UH classes?) We went in for a price quote and were pleasantly surprised with how much it would cost and they made sure that we were shown a sample of how it would look to insure that everything would be done and completed perfectly. As a perfectionist (well, for some things at least), they are perfectionists. We left them a sample of how the finished invitations would look and how the card would be folded (trifolded on "natural white" cardstock) as well as sent them the file (PDF) through their email. We sent it in on Wednesday/Thursday, and they had it done by Friday afternoon. Invitations were cut and scored and folded for us; all 120 of them! Talk about speedy and quality service! Besides their amazing jobs on our wedding invitations, they also were very friendly and helpful with providing explanations and details of their process. I just came from the Professional Image shop (University branch) and I agree with the reviews here: those guys are awesome. I had 2 jobs: one was straightforward and they whipped it out quickly. The other one was a bit tricky because it involved printing an image onto labels for DVDs. They worked on it so seriously that you'd think the fate of the universe depended on it! ;-) Yes, I'm half joking but I totally appreciate their attention to detail. If you don't care about quality and it's not a very important job, just go to Wal-Mart; but if you've got a printing job that is important and you want it done right, I'd suggest going to Professional Image. (One more thing: if you're like me, parking IS an important factor when deciding where to go for something. Professional Image will validate your parking stub; how awesome is that? The parking is located at the corner of University and King Streets. From there, it's an easy 30 second walk to the shop.) read more

I have to make a small amount of meal tickets but needed to print out ASAP and I didn't have any card stocks readily available so I decided to search for a printing company nearby to get the job done if the price is right. I submitted a quote request with the image right before 9am today and Sean was so quit to respond (within minutes) and provided me options with price. To print a business card sized color image (on card stock) it's only 84¢ per 8x11.5 sheet. The cutting itself costs $18. Because I only needed 5 sheets and I can do the cutting on my own so I just ordered the prints. Sean actually sent me a file with the images on an 8x11.5 paper (he was able to squeeze 9 images in there). I got a call by 10:35am saying my prints are ready! Super friendly staff when I went in to pick up my order. It was the quickest turnaround I've ever had to deal with for professional printing and the quality is way better than I would have been if I were to print at home, for only $4.20!!! I know the job I have is small but they showed me that they do take care of their customers no matter how big or small the printing job is. Definitely coming back!! read more
