See Mark for personable, fast and professional custom made cards. Got funeral announcements and custom awesome thank you notes printed beautifully and at a great pri$e! I stopped over with actual photographs, downloaded pdf of google pix and pix of pix from my phone. He custom prepared them and emailed proofs prior to printing. My cards turned out so PROFESSIONALLY done, from the printing to the paper quality. Such a surprisingly happy light during a personally heartbroken time for me and my family. Everyone was impressed with the invites and the thank you cards. Thanks a million! read more

the service here was GREAT!!! David was a BIG help in trying to achieve what was needed for the cards that I wanted to order. I saw some examples as well, and they looked really, really nice. The price quote that I got from Marissa was very affordable, too!!! They have great value, great customer service and I am just waiting to see what the cards are going to look like when I finally get them. read more

These guys are ALWAYS so helpful, personable, and GREAT at what they do! Excellent work, service and product!

Called in the morning to get an idea of how much it would be to print out funeral programs inserts for my uncles funeral in a few days. The inserts needed to be sized 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". Two programs fit on one sheet and each sheet if black ink only and on basic paper would be $.15 each. If on card stock thicker paper it would be $.20 each. If we brought our own paper that needed to be laser printer quality it would be $.10 each sheet. I just needed to create a PDF of the program and send to their email address. On arrival later in the afternoon they were able to print all hundred programs as well as shave off the ends to cleanly fit into the service folders without bulging out. Everything was done in five minutes. The minimum amount to pay was two dollars and the minimum to use a credit card was $10. Friendly, fast and quality service. read more

Five star experience for sure. Mahalo to Ross for all his help printing our burial program for Dad. Process for printing was super easy; simply emailed Ross and staff whatever document I needed samples of and he would have them ready for pickup & review later the same day. We probably revised the file for editing over 5 separate times in a week but Ross continued to print the samples every time, working with us until we had everything perfect just the way we wanted. There's a few reserved stalls for parking in the back with a nearby lot as well. Printing price was also very affordable. Cant say enough good things about this experience. Give these guys a chance and you will be happy you did. read more

The response and turn around time from these guys is A+++++. Reasonable prices as well. I will continue to order my print projects from them. read more

I took a hardcopy program or our high school class reunion created on a Microsoft Word software. The image of the high school logo was fuzzy and the text wasn't quite centered. David Wilson created magic! I was able to send him the digital document. He found the same logo and also centered the text. When he printed the program, it was so clear -- and it made me look good in creating the program! The cost was very reasonable too. I would definitely recommend Professional Image on Waialae Ave. and take my digital documents to be printed by David again! Thank you, David! Helene S. read more

Professional Image University has a new location on Waialae that I dubbed "the second UH Bookstore." Chances are if you are a UH student, you'll visit this location at least once during your career to pick up a course reader. But the convenience and practicality of professional printing and binding services are truly underrated (perhaps not by the big fish in town who utilize them frequently). For just a few bucks, you can turn a stack of papers into an organized, easy to carry and store collection. I highly recommend giving that a try. My tip to new customers would be to call ahead if you anticipate submitting a large order. You can save time by sending your file ahead of time and providing instructions on how you'd want the job finished. The possibilities are quite broad, so it's worth asking for an opinion on how to best present what you're putting together. When it comes to printing, I say go Pro, especially if it's work related. You'll be glad you did so if your professional work product is on the line. read more

David and Steve are the nicest guys, super flexible and customer-oriented. Prices are also reasonable. This is my go-to place for all my printing needs. read more

I print small jobs with Professional Image for work and I have always had a positive experience. I can usually email with fairly detailed job specs, but sometimes I have no idea what I need so I explain (poorly) what I'm looking for and they will do a great job of recommending paper weights, sizes, and other services. Response time is always quick and my jobs are completed in no time. Once I was misquoted on a job and they honored the lower quote they initially gave me. They are always friendly when I arrive to pick up my order. They are our go-to for small, quick jobs because they're fast, reliable, courteous, and so helpful. read more

They've been supplying Lunalilo Home business cards for many years. Their one day turn around is amazing.

This Professional Image is located on the corner of University and King St. You can park in the University Square parking lot and they validate parking. They are facing King St right between OMG and Aki-no-No. It's a great location for UH students and residents around the area. I needed a graphic to be done along with making some new letterheads and business cards. Keith and his team worked with me from start to finish. We met originally in person then communicated via email till I was ready to finalize everything to print. The process took awhile with my travels and getting everything compliance approved. Keith was very patient with me working on this and I really appreciated it. Once I was ready to print, I was advised by Keith to come back down to the shop to pick out the type of paper I wanted to use. He made great recommendations and I'm very happy with the final products. The cards and letterheads came out just the way he said they would. Before I left, he said that the reordering process was very easy. I look forward to continuing to do business with them. read more

I called Thursday afternoon and spoke to Ross regarding a photo that I needed cropped and enlarged for a funeral service and Ross was able to do this expeditiously. I was able to pick it up first thing Friday morning when they opened for business. The staff is definitely professional, courteous, amazingly fast, and provides excellent customer service. Will definitely patronize this business again. Thank you Ross! read more

The customer service is awesome and they are kind. The production and swiftness of the job is top notch!

Sometimes your home printer or the Wal Mart photo center just won't cut it. Enter Professional Image and all their amazingness. I've been going to this place for awhile. Being a design major in college, I found myself here a lot to print posters, pages for books, projects, etc. In my post-grad, freelance-life, I come here for menus, flyers, all sorts of printing needs. Not only is it conveniently located down the street from UH (and across the street from coffee, might I add), but they're always super helpful. I've had the manager Keith help me out on multiple occasions. His advice and opinions on what paper would be best and the best way to execute the job is always appreciated. I always walk in with my USB drive and walk out with perfect prints, just the way I envisioned them. Even when I'm not entirely sure how to handle something, Keith and the other guys always have suggestions and are willing to help. Their pricing is reasonable, especially considering the quick and professional service that's always given. I'd definitely recommend for anybody who has printing needs - these guys are the bomb! read more

Professional Image - Waialae - Printing Services Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I've been to Professional Image Waialae a few times before to get some printing done and they've always done a really great, fast job. I wasn't 100% sure if they did wedding invitations, so I called ahead and asked if they typically do 5x7 printing. Ross helped me through the entire process; he printed the full suite so that I could make sure I liked the paper, color, etc. then once he was sure I was happy with it he printed and cut them all in less than a day! I also paid a super reasonable price, whereas other companies and invitation services completely up charge for wedding related printing. Big thank you to Ross for making a stressful process so much easier! read more

I used Profesional Image to print up funeral programs for a family service. Needed to make a copy of my 65 year plans for my home. You can imagine the aged paper and torn edges , including the fainting prints of my plans. I called and spoke to David and wanted to know if this would be possible due to the paper being so aged and fragile. These house plans are also oversized and wont fit in a regular size printer with a flatbed. David said it shouldnt be a problem for them as they put it in a clear sleeve before fitting it through the feeder. Success, David was able to make a copy and it was very clear!!!! I waited for it and was done within an hour to copy 7 pages. Thank you! read more

I needed some printing done and this place was awesome! I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked what I needed to be done. The gentlemen helping me even brought out several samples of paper for me to look at so that I could get the best thickness of paper that won't let highlighters an such bleed through. He printed a test for me to see and even made adjustments to the double sided registry, making sure everything aligned. After I approved the test, he started printing my order. I was in and out of their shop in 20-25 minutes. :) Their pricing is reasonable and they can give you quotes before hand. Everything was perfect! They even do trimming! read more

If I could give them more stars, I would! We were making programs for a funeral service and were having issues with our template. We took it to show them and they helped us out with great advice, helped us pick out paper, showed us a preview print and were able to rush the job for us, so we could get it before they closed. We were so impressed with their customer service! Thank you Ed(?) For everything! Will definitely recommend to everyone! read more

I am very very happy with the services on every level at this company. They printed my sisters wedding invitations (post card) and wedding programs that I designed (2 different visits a couple months apart). They were very patient with my lack of correct file preparation and helped me. They also printed everything super fast (once by the next day and another time by 2 days-given it was thanksgiving weekend and I got there right before they closed and they were busy with other orders!). They were always kind and respectful and were genuinely working their hardest for me as a customer which is rare these days. And to top it off the quality was perfect and beautiful colors. Better than I expected. And the price was sooo affordable and the best I got quoted all around. All around 5 stars! Will definitely recommend and return to them for future services. read more

....story goes: we are in the midst of planning a wedding and our budget seems to rise every single day (cue anxiety attack and bridezilla entrance)....so in a desperate attempt to save us just a wee bit of money, I opted to design my own RSVP cards and invitations to our rehearsal dinner. Now the problem was, where do I take my files to be printed? Enter in Professional Image. I used to go to this University location to pick up book packets when I attended UH. They validate and there's plenty parking in the University Square lot. David is the man. He is friendly, courteous and really takes pride in the materials he prints. When I first went down to get a consultation on my files, we discussed pricing and I got to choose which thickness of paper I wanted. Then all I did was shoot him an email the next day, and attached my PDF file. Granted, I became somewhat of a "regular" for a bit, because our guest list didn't seem to end. But each time, the turn-around time on my files was less than a day....and my cards were neatly cut and stacked waiting to be picked up. Awesome prices and you get a quality product. All of the things I've sent came out great. I'd recommend this place to anyone! read more

Professional Image is located near the intersection of University and King Streets. There is validated parking at University Square. A short walk Diamond Head on King Street past OMG. I came here because I had gotten a quote for my 2016-17 school year lesson/plan grade book. I am extremely picky and hated all the teacher lesson plan/grade books out there, so I decided to make my own. I had over 300 pages and it was mostly in color. I wanted it printed on a better, thicker quality paper (not printer paper) so it could last throughout the school year. And I wanted it bound. I had no clue where to start, so of course, I searched Yelp. I discovered that Yelp allowed me to get quotes from printers! Did not realize that Yelp could get any better! I submitted my requests and all I had to do was wait. Most got back to me with really high quotes or that they didn't bind. Professional Image said they could do it all - and at a price that didn't break this teacher's wallet! Hubby was able to drop by and show them the specifics of what I wanted. Professional Image said no problem. It would be ready by the next day. Problem, it wasn't ready the next day. Apparently, one of my fonts couldn't be read by their computer. I had to change everything from Powerpoint to a pdf. As soon as that was done, I went in myself to make sure that everything was set to my specs. They worked with me to make sure that my calendar pages were exactly where I wanted it to be and that the layout was just right. They suggested the type of paper to use and told me it would be ready in 2 days. (It was a Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.) As Monday afternoon arrived, I waited for the hubby to arrive with my teacher book! He showed up with a large paper bag. I went to grab it, but to my shock, it was my book, just not bound. Apparently, the paper they suggested was too thick to bind the pages. When they realized this, they punched holes in the pages so I could put it in a binder. Not exactly what I had in mind, but what can you do? My book is pretty awesome, just the carrying it around in a binder isn't the best. For the service and the price, I definitely will be back for next year's lesson plan/grade book. Maybe just not with cardstock. read more

Fantastic service! I purchased wrapping paper on Etsy, and it was printable instead of something that was shipped to you. I had no idea where I could take this to get it printed on bigger paper, so I hit up Yelp and found Professional Image. I messaged the business and received a quick reply from Sean, who was extremely helpful in figuring out the size I needed, telling me how much it would be, etc etc! Highly recommend this business for all your printing needs! Thanks, Sean and Professional Image! read more

I had a really good experience here while picking up my readers for class!! I called them in between classes to have my packets ready for pick up.. very easy going people to talk to. they told me how fast they could have it done (within 1/2 hour) and I told them when I could have it picked up.. wrote my name down and bam! went to park behind the building briefly cause it's complete chaos on king at around 4:15pm went inside.. quick swipe of my card. and bam!! thankfully.. they do binding for cheap over here and one of my profs that didn't have our course reader hole punched or binded.. the guy over here did it for less than $4 super nice and friendly people over there in the midst of school just starting and all the students they interact with.. they weren't grumpy or impatient. so it was nice working with people that let their past customer experience dictate the way they interacted with you read more

I have to say with a profound level of sincerity, these guys are amazing. I've been using them for years, and they are fast, professional, nice and just overall fantastic. Basically, they can meet all your printing needs. I will typically email them things and they fix it up and get it for me as soon as possible (often rush jobs, which they're very good at). The price is right, the service is great, and the location also has validated parking with purchase. You can tell their work is in high demand. They are very busy, but still manage to be responsive. Keith and Mark are friendly and professional (and have a good sense of humor, too!) I've been very satisfied with all our (my organization's) print jobs so far -- brochures, letters, envelopes, colored, b/w, you name it. If I'd missed any specs, they consistently check in to verify what I need. (Some other places I've gone to, the folks would print based on what they *thought* I wanted). They also accept my company card (AMEX) which is another plus. read more
