I tried on Father Day and we glad that we tried it. Food is great but portion size of dishes are little smaller than others. We ordered 7 dishes and every dish was great. Meet my expectations. Specifically Mango Tango Dish. read more

Excellent food quality and the service was great. The Masaman curry was very tasty and spiciness was on point.

The setup is very contemporary and mod, unlike other Thai restaurant. Unfortunately, that is all the positive I can say about the place. Due to bare walls, there is nothing to absorb the noise, so it is hard th make conversations. The food is anything but Thai! I ordered the green curry with roast duck. The duck came as thin slices floating in a tasteless green soup! My friend ordered the appetiser combo which looked can of dry. There r only two dessert u can choose from, nothing remotely authentic and Thai! I would not go back there again! At least the server is friendly, but I am not going there just for the service, which is really just acceptable. read more

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Thai gem tucked away in Bayside, Queens, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. The restaurant effortlessly combines authenticity, modern luxury decor, and culinary excellence, making it a true hidden treasure. The moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of modern luxury with its stylish and chic decorations. The ambiance is upscale yet inviting, making it an ideal setting for a special evening out. Now, let's talk about the food. The Duck Salad is an absolute showstopper! The tender duck, paired with an exquisite blend of Thai spices and fresh herbs, created a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. It's one of those dishes that leaves a lasting impression. And then there's the Bi Ko Moi dessert - an absolute triumph! This delightful dessert is a perfect marriage of sweet and creamy coconut goodness, leaving you craving every spoonful. The presentation was as impressive as the taste, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to both flavor and aesthetics. But it's not just the food that shines here; the service is equally exceptional. The staff strikes the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. They are not only attentive to your needs but also knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. And let's not forget the cocktails! They're not just drinks; they're creative works of art that are as visually appealing as they are tasty. I got a "ROMANTIC BUTTERFLY" was beautiful with frozen flower in the ice cube. Each sip was a journey through inventive flavors that perfectly complemented the Thai cuisine. What truly sets this restaurant apart is its unwavering commitment to authenticity. Each dish exudes the true essence of Thai cuisine, and it's evident that the chefs are passionate about preserving and sharing the rich flavors and traditions of Thailand. The attentive and friendly staff elevated the dining experience further. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to assist in making selections, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was exceptional. In summary, if you're on the lookout for an authentic Thai dining experience with a touch of modern luxury in Bayside, Queens, this restaurant is a must-visit. The Duck Salad and Bi Ko Moi dessert are culinary masterpieces that you won't want to miss. It's a dining experience that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, leaving you with cherished memories of a remarkable meal." I hope this review captures the essence of the restaurant's positive attributes in Bayside, Queens! read more

Really cute Thai restaurant and helpful staff. The fish here were really good we tried both the Branzino and Salmon. This place is a more mild version of other Thai places where the flavors weren't as strong if you prefer that and don't like super strong spices. read more

Went there last week with my friend and we were pleased with the food and service. As a southeast Asian, I was pleased with the flavors. The place is modern and welcoming. We got 1) Thai Iced Tea, 2) Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp, 3) Bangkok Basil Fried Rice with Beef from the lunch menu. The portion is good for lunch. And it's so yummy too. Nice new modern neighborhood restaurant. It was a busy Friday night, but the wait wasn't too bad. What was bad was the sun coming through the window and door and shinning directly on customers' faces at 4 tables. There was no where to hide and was uncomfortable. The proprietor acknowledged but was unable to do anything. The waiter said we just have to wait 30 mins when the sun goes down. Really? For the prosperity of the restaurant, they should get some tinting or more shade coverage on the glass door and top windows. Food was pretty good, though a little greasy with a couple of dishes we had. Chives cake and basil bacon left us all feeling greasy. Service was okay, it was pretty busy and they tried to get people in and out in a reasonable time. May give them another try in the future. read more

Came here for lunch with my husband. Loved the decor as soon as we walked in. This place is by far the best Thai food on the North Shore. By far! I live East Asian food in general, and I've eaten at every local spot. Decor is brand new and lovely, staff is friendly and high service, but the food is absolutely fantastic and totally authentic. Absolutely nothing compromised on ingredients or preparation. I'd recommend this place to anyone within 20-30 minutes drive. if you like authentic Thai food or east Asian food in general, you cannot miss this. read more

Beautiful space and tasty food. We came for lunch with 2 kids. The restaurant is a bit small so it was hard to fit 2 strollers. They were not very accommodating about that and even gave us an attitude even though there there only 2 other parties seated and there was plenty of room. I knocked a star off for that. The Thai ice tea was good and the pork jowl is a must get! read more

Relatively new thai place that opened up in little neck! I was overall pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I ordered a thai iced tea, grilled steak salad, and chinese broccoli with pork belly. Everything tasted great and had those classic thai flavors. The grilled steak salad had a nice spice kick as well. The service was also wonderful. All the workers were very attentive and constantly checking on us. The interior is really nice and comfortable. We were seated very quickly on a Wednesday night which I appreciated. Definitely plan on coming back with others soon! read more

Prode is a neighborhood gem. Amazing Thai food. We had dinner with our family about a month ago... One of the best in this area! Excellent cocktail, and artistic arrangements. Food is ok and a little pricey. Service is bad. I had a takeout for my family and spent $100. As I opened bag, there were no napkins and utencils. I called the restaurant, their respond was like, they forgot it and that's it. I wanted to try new Tai restaurant in my neighbor, and it was a bad first impression so I'm not going back. read more

Just had dinner at Prode. While stuck in traffic on Northern the other day, I (finally) noticed this new spot. Immediately drawn by their elegant decor... which is a far cry from the former spot... I thought we need to check this place out. Snagged a late same day reservation for a party of 4+2 at 6pm and they graciously accommodated. Glad we did bc there was already a crowd waiting for tables. We were promptly seated. After trying narrow down all of the choices, we settled for the following: -pork jowl appetizer -crying tiger steak -crispy pork belly over mixed vegetables -whole red snapper -pad see ew We had to find a balance of things that the kids would eat and my mom who is non-adventurous in food. Food came out quickly and every dish was delicious as the next. We were busy stuffing our face with food that we didn't even remember to take pictures! Only hiccup was when we realized our grilled squid app didn't arrived. We asked them to take it off bc we were fine without it as we were stuffed! It just gives me reason to go back and try it and the other dishes we didn't choose... and check out their bar next time. There were still parties waiting to be seated as we left! Excellent addition to the neighborhood and will definitely be back! read more

The service is very quick. The restaurant looks really nice. The Thai food is good. I would go there again.

I was drawn to the ambience but returned for the delicious food and warm service. They have such a wide range of offerings I could order every day of the week and never have the same meal twice. A lover of seafood I made a beeline for their snowflake fish which did not disappoint. The freshest fish I've had outside of Thailand. The fried calamari was a wonderful balance of crisp yet soft. Beef pad see eww is to die for. Highly recommend their cocktails - please try their lychee rose!! Tied the evening off with a black sticky rice with ube icecream and salted coconut milk dessert. Delicious! Five stars is not enough read more

I decided to try this place out since it was close by, and I like Thai food. Ambiance is very chic and has a very Manahattan vibe. The staff was very attentive and nice. Food ordered: Appetizer Pork jowl - so tender and tasty I love pork, so I may be biased. Sauce was good, but the pork jowl was tasty without it as well. Fried Calamari - very fresh (not chewy like cheap bubble gum) and fried very nicely. Meals Pad See Ew - was a typical Pad See Ew. It's always a safety net for my kids, and they enjoyed it Pad Thai - another safety net dish that my husband likes to order. Crying tiger steak - the steak was super tender and very tasty without the sauce. It was cooked more on the well side than I would have liked, but it was still tender. I would order this again if in the mood for steak again. Chicken basket - the dish was not really what I expected. It was very tasty, but the chicken is more like fried chicken strips. It was more similar to a chicken jerky like texture but fried. It's hard to describe but in any event I probably would not order that again just because I was hoping for thicker meat. Drinks I had 2 cocktails I can't really remember. I found the price a bit high - this definitely had a Manahattan price tag The other drink prices were more reasonable 2 Thai lemonade 1 Thai lychee tea - had real authentic Thai tea flavors but a little bit too sweet. We had to water it down to get it to our liking. Overall this place was good. I would come back and order other food items on the menu to try. Happy eatings! read more

Prode gets a 3. The ambiance, interior, service are definitely where the most attention has gone in running this restaurant. That's great- but the food could use some real work. The grilled half chicken was kind of dry and rubbery. The fish had a strong taste of not being fresh, the skin wasn't crispy (more tasted like leather, it was tough and scales still all over it). The lettuce was not fresh, and vermicelli noodles were overcooked and soggy. I think the only parts that worked here were the sauces, which definitely did the heavy lifting. I think Prode would be great if they just shifted more focus on the quality of their food rather than the more superficial things! read more

It's a fairly new Thai restaurant that's very close to Bangkok Ave which is our usual spot. Hubby and I decided to give a try. We ordered Thai Ice Tea and Thai Ice coffee. It was a bit too sweet to my liking. We ordered two appetizers which were just average. However we were impressed with the main dishes. My husband has always loved pad se ew and this place made it just perfect for him. Thumb up! Pad Thai was excellent as well as the Bangkok minced pork basil. We were very pleased with the main courses. Lastly we ordered one of the popular desserts - black sticky rice with ube ice cream. The waitress told us that the coconut milk is a bit salty to offset the sweetness of the ice cream which we found it to be an excellent combination. We LOVED the dessert. Overall, the place is nicely decorated, clean and food came out pretty fast. Will go back there again and try other dishes. read more
