I would strongly suggest to stay away from this company. Their "contractor" Alex started a new company Bellissimo Tile so people won't know how terrible his service really is but gave me this address to go look at tile. When I googled this address I was shocked to find Alex is just running from all the people he did dirty in the past. Hiding behind a phone and creating a new company doesn't make everything good. I went to this store after Alex's worker demoed my bathroom floors when he wasn't supposed to. The tile there was double the price of Floor and Decor. Because of all the issues Alex left at my house, I will be filing a formal complaint today against Byron Roberto Ceron the owner of the company they are listing on their contracts. read more

There was small hiccup where two boxes didn't arrive and they were able to order and deliver the missing boxes with no charge. WARNING! This store commits fraud by using a licensed contractor number not affiliated with them to get business. I signed an agreement with Jennifer, an employee of Stone Collection. at Stone Collection for tile and labor. We asked repeatedly if they were a licensed contractor and we were told yes. On the contract that Jennifer wrote up she put a valid contractor license number and took a deposit for the labor. She even signed her name on the contract as taking the deposit. They caused over $10,000 in damage to my home and did such a poor job laying tile we have a floor with an elevation drop of 1.5" and when using a level we have a floor that waves almost 1/2" over 3-5'. They broke windows, ate items out of my fridge, stole my trash cans, stole tools, dumped waste in my planters and much more. When I brought this up to the store suddenly, I am told they do not do labor. They sold me only material. If you read their Yelp reviews they have done this to other people as well. The person who came to do the work was Evan Castillo and Alex Castillo. The owners of Stone Collection are Jose Castillo. I had to serve them, and the contractor whose number they used, legal papers and the licensed contractor called me and informed me he has no agreement or affiliation with Stone Collection. This is being investigated by the California Contractors State License board as fraud. I also have 2 pending legal cases against Stone Collection. I had them lay 2600sqft of tile that basically has to be ripped up and redone. With the damages they causes to my home during their botched install, removing, replacing and relaying the tile correctly I am looking at having to spend almost $40,000 which I am going after Stone Collection for. read more

He also unplugged my home security system at one point while he threatened to leave the job after knowingly collected to much money! Being able to renovate and make improvements to ones home should be an exciting time. Finding a reputable company can be scary cause you hear the horror stories but when the horror story comes true, it's devastating. It happened to my family through this "company". I had been given inferior floor lining and ased my worker to pay more than agreed price for addtional boarders on the phone. I was told on the phone by J. That the price was 125 with shipping and i agreed onvthe phone, and i asked the worker to pay first. But by the time, the worker arrived to pick up 9 pieces of moldings. She changed the price to $146.91 without informing me. When i was told the next day, i called the store to talk to her. She was rude, and denied her original agreed price and hamg up on me. I called back amd ask for her again I was toldvthat she was busy. I then asked to speak with the owner, and i was told that the owner is not there. BURN IN HELL STONE COLLECTION Evan and Stone Collection Inc. Basically TOOK OUR HARD EARNED SAVINGS AND RAN OFF!!! IF I COULD GIVE THESE PEOPLE -5 STARS, I WOULD!!! The installer Evan, aka Ivan, aka Elvin, needs to stick to flooring and not pose as a contractor. it seems he uses different aliases to mislead people and not get caught. This time he messed with the wrong people He has no knowledge of electrical work, which he tried to do himself, but couldn't (I had to draw him up a wiring diagram, which came in the instruction manual for the exhaust fan. If he would have taken the time to read it, I would not had to have drawn him up a diagram) little to no knowledge of plumbing (I called my son, a real plumber to talk me through what needed to be done) and especially his drywalling skills, A TOTAL FAILURE!!! Apparently he has a problem using measuring tools such as a measuring tape or even a scale, level, or framing square. Because he never measured the ceiling height, he left an almost one inch gap between the top of the ceiling and the end of the tile. Because of this, we had to spend even more money and buy ceiling tiles to cover up his mistake. He always tries to take shortcuts in order to blow through the job but he would need to redo all his work because in his rush, it was either wrong or unsafe, taking up more time, and increasing our frustration. Not only did EVAN not finish the job, but he never delivered tile that we paid for, for our second bathroom that he never even started. STONE COLLECTION would not refund us the money for the undelivered tile. STONE COLLECTION Claimed that they had no connection with Evan, their installer, Who is actually their son (the owners). We eventually had to hire someone else to finish and fix his mess in the first bathroom, buy more tile, this time from the Home Depot and Lowe's who DO give refunds, and found a great installer/remodeler. Our advice to anyone reading this, stay away from this place! We now by all our tile from FLOOR & DECOR. They have great customer service, and will take back any unused tile and materials for a full refund. STONE COLLECTION'S policy: "NO REFUNDS!" My neighbor had her floors done. Turned out lovely. I contracted the same people to do my floors. Red flags instantly. I waited three hours for them to show and when they did, the floor color was incorrect. Floors turned out great except they damaged the base of my fireplace taking the carpet out. They said they would fix it no problem. Also, they agreed to do my kitchen backsplash. I guess Alex changed his mind because they kept giving excuses as to why they needed to keep pushing the date back. Next week, tomorrow, to never. My parents had their bathroom remodeled by Alex. Unfortunately what ruined it for my parents was Alex's mother. The main issue was the amount my parents were initially quoted, to what they were charged. My parents were over charged and when they brought it to the attention of Alex's mother, she told my parents they were wrong. If you decide to go through this business, pay attention to your invoices and keep them on hand if they try add additional charges that you were not made aware of. Also, this business is used to buying EVERYTHING from their own warehouse, so somethings may be more expensive than they would be at Home Depot. As for Alex's work, my parents were pleased with him, they just did not like how the transaction side of it was handled. We understand while remodeling were bound to run into issues that require more costs. However, it is not okay to overpay for material that was never ordered or used. read more

We found great deal on quality tile to replace carpeting and put Saltillo in hall and kitchen. We choose a walnut wood looking ceramic tile for our four bedrooms. Now our house is all tile, easy to keep clean and pet friendly. We really liked the workmanship and friendly service of the installers, Alex and Jamie. When we noticed some areas needing touch up they had no issue coming back and taking care of it, even after we paid for the services. I spent perhaps over $20,000 for tile floors and two bathroom upgrades. The man that laid the tile did an excellent job. However, now that I need for someone to help me establish what I paid ( tax purposes) for a specific job they give me nothing but excuses. They claim they checked their records back to 2010 with no record of my having had any work done. The last job was completed in 2013 of which I have receipts. Subsequently I am convinced that they did not look. As for customer support it is a joke. Do not go back to them for support or you will be disappointed. I have sent this store pictures and email requests (4 each) none of which have been responded to. In addition, I called NLT five times. They will not refer me to a manager and when pressured the employee on the phone simply claims she is a manager. They have two ladies who take customer calls nothing else. Unfortunately this is one of those places where you get what you pay for. After we used this company to install our counter tops I noticed some gaps I wanted filled in with grout. I showed some pictures to Jennifer who told me they would be out on the following Tuesday to make the corrections but never gave a time. After multiple attempts to contact the company leading up to that day and even after, they could never "get a hold of the installers" to let me know when they would be out to fill in my grout. Another woman promised me she would contact me back because she knew how upset I was and here we are a month later and I've never heard from them. Also I found empty beer cans in my trash from their workers and sent pictures of this to Jennifer to bring to her attention. She didn't seem bothered by this at all. How professional. read more

On 1-26-16 we purchased a farmhouse sink from this establishment with the intent of purchasing granite for our new counter tops. On 1-31-16 we got my son to come over to help remove the sink from our 4 Runner, as it is very heavy and they discovered Stone Collection had sold us a sink with a large chip in it. Stone Collection had loaded the sink and we had not attempted to due to our age and health. On 2-1-16 my husband returned the sink to them and they refused to replace or refund our money. They argued we must have done it, which we had not and were extremely disappointed at their shady work ethics and lack of professional customer service. I will not order my granite from them and encourage any potential buyers to beware of their shoddy customer service and deceit. Shame on them!! read more

Buyer Beware!! Be very, very, careful that the tile they give you is what you actually selected in the first place! I purchased tile for my entire kitchen floor. When I brought a box home to match my paint, I noticed the finish of the tile was completely different than the sample. My husband said the brand of tile was different as well. I called the was told they "forgot" to mention that the tile company changed their finish. The girl I spoke with over the phone at least admitted the mistake and said I could get a refund. I went in the next day to return the box and get my refund and the matriarch tried to convince me I was wrong. After comparing the sample with the box of tile, the difference was obvious and I was very reluctantly given my refund. The label had even been ripped off the back of the sample tile in an effort to hide the difference. No apology or trying to work it out! I was lucky in that I had only taken 1 box home. I think if I had taken the whole lot, they wouldn't have given me the refund. The younger ladies are very friendly and helpful but the matriarch of the business has no people skills and ruined it for me. She needs to leave the customers to her daughters. read more

Warning! - Do not use this business. They have pathetic customer service. They installed a granite countertop in my bathroom with the sinks 2" from the wall. WHO DOES THAT? you can't even stand in front of the sink to brush your teeth. The faucet handles literally are within 1/2" of the wall. The plumbing is all located 6 " to the inside where it was expected that the sinks would go. I am forced to hire another contractor to rip out the bad install and start over. This will cost me $1000 to fix this problem. I feel sorry for you if you choose to go with these guys based upon my experience. There are plenty of other options out there. Go find another one. Update! - They are also unethical and dishonest! When I attempted to get this problem resolved, they claimed they had nothing to do with the installer! It was their installer! They claim they do not do installations! So, they sold me a counter and installation and then they threw their installer under the bus. Nice. read more
