Overall, he did a good job educating us in an area we were unfamiliar with. Unfortunately, the total quote was a bit too much for our tight budget. We went with another vendor but would consider Homeshield for future use since they seem like a good quality service.

We submitted a work request to the apartment complex for pest control to come three times and these idiots NEVER show up all three times! They keep on telling the apartment complex we'll come back Thursday or we'll come back Monday, by the time Thursday or Monday comes around these idiots never show up and me and my girlfriend become furious at them and are forced to live with ants and cockroaches inside of our apartment thanks these idiots! Plus my girlfriend saw their truck parked outside of the complex parking lot today and they NEVER came inside of our apartment to take care of the ant and cockroach problem! While they started off strong, over time the service became inconsistent and lazy. What's worse is that they made major changes to how they treat infestations switching from effective bait traps to just glue traps and basic plastic claw traps without any notice. Despite the reduced service, they continue to charge the same price, which feels unfair and misleading. If this is the level of service they now provide, you're honestly better off going to Home Depot and buying your own pest spray and glue traps. It would save you money and probably deliver the same (if not better) results. Very disappointed and won't be using Orkin again.
