I go here regularly for mai-pedis, live in the neighborhood. Make an appt if you can; most of the manicurists here are good.

Ugh. Made an appointment for 4:00. Left at 4:15 after being ignored and then yelled at. Terrible, terrible service and attitude. I'm honestly disgusted. read more

First, nearly two years ago, I developed a nasty infection in the nail bed of my right fore finger a couple of weeks after a manicure here. I caught it just in time before I had to see a doctor about it. I did not report it to the salon and it didn't prevent me from going there since. The biggest issue with the salon is one of the male nail technicians. I don't know his name, but he's tall, wears a baseball cap as well as RED contact lenses. He is incredibly rude in a number of ways, but the worse is that he makes fun of customers while working with other customers. I've not been the recipient of his derision but It's unacceptable and I will not go back read more

I always get my nails done here! The location is very convenient and my gel manicure lasts forever. My nails grow out before they chip at all. I usually get my nails done by the young man who works here and he does a fantastic job, very detail oriented. I've been to this location and the lower Queen Anne one. They're both solid choices! Nothing fancy here but a consistently good result. read more

I'm surprised at previous reviewers, guess some are more particular than I...but, I can't see how anyone wouldn't like Pro Nails QA. I've always had friendly, personal service--you can tell when there's a bad vibe in nail salons by observing the employees, and it ain't there, here. Less busy, typically, than their sister location down the hill, I saw a customer greeted w a hug as she introduced her new daughter in law to the staff. Nice neighborhood vibe, and most importantly, very clean. $30 now for a pedi. This is not a spa, but it's a solid small business I like supporting. read more

Got a pedicure for $25. The total time spent in the chair was about 25 minutes. Arrived by appointment. Service was descent. This place is good for a descent, affordable pedicure. Great location. read more

This place is a few blocks from my apartment, so I really wanted to like it. There was literally not one good thing about the experience. It was painful and rushed, the people working there were rude, my polish chipped almost immediately, and the mani/pedi was just of poor quality. My friend whom I went with said her manicurist was painting her nails like how a little kid would - putting the polish everywhere and then wiping it off of the skin around her nails. It was so bizarre. I go out of my way to avoid this place. read more

i loved my pedicure! my sister even loved hers and she NEVER lets anyone touch her cute little piggies... they are amazing and i'd totally recomend for a newb (like my sis) as they are totally patient! read more

The ladies were very nice here and I was very pleased with the mani and pedi. The prices here can't be beat. Mani/pedi I believe is $30. The staff lacks a bit of professionalism, but for the price, you really get a great deal. read more

It was a last minute decision to get my manicure and pedicure tonight, it was my first time at Pro Nails Queen Anne Anne Ave. N (I found out also that they have a location down in Roy St.). The lady who did my nails was thorough, she is not rushing and not thinking that it is close to 7PM. Everybody were helpful and nice, such a great experience expecially when you are new. I will for sure coming back at this location even there are other nail salons close to where I live and where I work. read more

Great service, staff & clean. I go here w/ my mother in law on the regular. They really care about your over-all nail health, and treat your toes w/ care. CLOSED on Mondays & best to call ahead before going, as they get busy. read more

Wonderful pedicure at a great price! I did not have a hard time finding parking right in front.

Since I've moved to the area I have been getting my nails done here. It's the only place I trust to do a shellac manicure that will last. The ladies are sweet and the place is clean. The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because trying to get service on a walk-in is nearly impossible. read more

I rarely write reviews but this experience was so horrific I had to share. The other Pro Nails on lower Queen Anne was swamped, now I see why so I came to the one on upper. First they soaked my fingers in pure acetone to remove my previous shellac. I have never had this technique. Usually iys wrapped in foil with aceton only in nails. It was too harsh on my fingers and left them very red and dry. Then the young man giving me a pedicure did the very opposite that I requested. I guess this is what happens when there is a language barrier. I wouldn't have given them any stars but required to write review. Do NOT Come to this nail salon!!!! Go to other down the hill they are awesome ! read more

I walked in to have shellac polish on my toes. They said the will not apply shellac unless I also have a pedicure. They have done just shellac on my toes in the past without a pedicure. Going elsewhere from now on. read more

Save yourself a bad experience and drive down the street to apollo nails. Terrible customer service!!! Do not recommend.

I asked for new files and the guy doing my mani/pedi nodded and said yes. He then flipped over a used file and started to use the other side. I then clarified and asked for new materials. He ignored me and continued using contaminated files. I left after my mani/pedi to realize he didn't paint one of my nails. I had to come back the next day. read more

Ok, so I walk into this sunny Queen Anne nail parlor and get EXACTLY what I'm expecting. No one stands up and the only greeting I get is from adolescent boy who yells across the room "You have an appointment?" Yes, I did. So I continue to sit down in a chair and "Lee" proceeds to speak in her native tongue, I can't tell if it was Vietnamese or what but doesn't even stop to ask me what I wanted shape wise, color wise, etc (I was getting a full set of french acrylics) and just kept talking to everyone else who worked at the salon. She was rough with my nails, they hurt and I was wincing throughout the application. When I go to most nail parlors, even if the technician doesn't speak English well, she will try to be friendly and communicate with me. This woman didn't, even after I cheerily mentioned how I heard she was the best via Yelp on the internet. Didn't even acknowledge that I was talking to her. RUDE. Then, she left glue all over my nails and hands and wasn't even going to get rid of it until I asked her to. It's been less than a week and my nails are already starting to chip, fall off, and are going to need a fill stat. I would NOT recommend going to Pro Nails for acrylic nails, maybe better for a basic mani-pedi, but you'll be wasting $30-$40 on your nails and definitely don't go expecting to make friends with your new manicurist. read more

I've never felt so compelled to actually write a review, but this place changed my mind. Yes it was cheap, but at what cost...your sanity. 5 or more employees sat around and carried on conversations so loudly I couldn't hear myself think. They were also clearly talking about me and other customers. I was uncomfortable the entire time. I don't normally care about this kind of stuff, but it was just so rude and annoying. It gave me a headache. I want to relax somewhat while getting my nails done. Also, she made my skin bleed...can we say bacteria. It was most certainly not clean in there. Ok enough said, even for the cheap prices I will not be back! read more

I am afraid that I would never go to this salon again. I wonder how they are getting such good reviews because honestly, I am not that picky. But....my nail polish started to come off just 2 days after I was there. The pedicure was the worst one I have ever had. I don't think the salon is clean and I really wondered about the tools they used and whether they were clean. The woman doing my pedicure and the one doing my manicure talked non-stop the entire time and worked so fast that they were done in 35 minutes. Not a quality job at all. Sorry, I want to say good things about this place, after all I had read and hope you aren't as disappointed as I was. read more

Go in with a positive attitude. So what if they don't speak English. They are all very sweet and I have never had a bad pedicure or manicure. If you do not like something let them know. They will remember the next time! read more

I had 2 people working on my nails (one for pedi and the other for an acrylic fill in) and unfortunately neither did a good job. Specifically for my fingers I was pretty disappointed by her work. I kept asking her to fix things (i.e. I asked for oval but she kept doing an uneven square shape, she didn't get paint on the sides of my nails) but even so my full set came out subpar. The people were perfectly nice and polite, I just really don't know if they have the expertise. For example, usually at other nail salons they ask you to pay before painting your nails so you don't ruin them later. Not at this place. Also neither technician put a base coat or a top coat on my nails. Just amateur stuff like that. I've probably gotten my nails done thousands of times and this experience def is one of the worst. I'm sure they would be fine for a basic polish change or something like that. But for anything requiring a bit more skill, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

They cut my toe nails too short and cut too short on the sides of my big toe it hurt and I jumped. I'm in pain for a week already. I hope it doesn't get infected. I will not be going back there again for pedicure, maybe manicure but not pedicure. read more

I'm torn with this review. I went there once before and they did a really good job. Took their time on my mani and pedi, gave a great massage and really looked after me. This recent time I went i was not as thrilled. While the end mani and pedi looked great and will likely last for two weeks (do the gel! They have a great variety of colors) they rushed my entire process. Now I don't like to be in there very long either but she rushed my pedi. She didn't even massage my legs, didn't use a hot towel this time around and barely scrubbed the bottoms of my feet. I would have liked three coats on my mani as well but she only did two so it's not as covered as I would have liked. She also cut my nails super short. So much so that they aren't long anymore. I worked so hard on growing them out and she filed them down to a nub. She also didn't give me a hand massage. I will go back but I'm hoping the service will be better like the first time. read more

I made an appointment on a busy Saturday for a pedicure. I was so excited for my feet to receive some TLC since I was 8+ months pregnant and could no longer see my toes while standing. When I arrived, every chair was taken, but I was able to be seen within ~10 minutes. I sat back and relaxed, trusting the nail technician to do his thing. He removed my nail polish, painted on a new coat, and that was it. I assumed that there was a mistake - that I had accidentally been booked for just a color change - but, sadly, no. I was charged the full amount and rushed out the door, not even getting help rolling my pants back down (again, carrying a watermelon under my shirt). Not what I had in mind for a relaxing pedicure. read more

I have been going to both pro nails locations for years and though I prefer the lower Queen Anne location, also often go to the Queen Anne ave spot too. They are always quick to fit me in, have a great selection of colors and it lasts 2-3 weeks. read more

I've been coming to Pro nails for at least 3 years now. It's not fancy and the manicures and pedicures don't come with long massages. But the prices are great and the end result is always high quality - I've always looked great leaving and my nails last longer from here than any other salon I've tried in Seattle. It's just a great, no frills, high quality place with really nice women working here. read more

Just went to this salon and experienced the worst manni / pedi in my 30 years of travel and spa experience. Dirty and unbelievably poor execution. Filing crooked, polish not even, I asked for square filing and since she didn't understand she did half rounded and half squared. Worst of all the manicurist was missing nails from fungal infection! Filthy - never go here! read more

I have been going here for years and find they ladies to be lovely! They always remember my sister and I and even remembered me when I moved to London and came back to visit. Great selection of colors and you can't beat the price for a mani/pedi. read more

The older I get, the less I'm willing to go to dirty chop shop nail salons. This salon is so nasty and dirty!!!! When I went there it smelled like bleach but none of their tools were in sanitized bags. Run, run, run. read more

I had a horrible experience and will not be back. I rarely write reviews but my experience was so bad that I felt the need to. I arrived for my appointment about 30 minutes early, with the plan to wait. They got me in early but then told me that they didn't have time to give me what I wanted. Once I told them that I would leave, they decided to provide me with what I asked for. I told them I didn't need my nails filed. (My nails are very long and filed nicely.) As I was looking at the lady doing my toes, the other lady cut my fingernail, but I asked for a paint job and cuticle trim only. After screwing up my nails, it got worse...She did such a poor job painting my nails that it looks like they have already grown out, yet I got them done yesterday. When I went to pay, the owner was extremely rude and stared at my receipt while I was signing and continued to stare until I wrote in the total amount. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more

Horrible experience! I went to get a fill and the lady was in such a hurry. My nails are so uneven and not the shape I wanted. I tried multiple times and showed pictures of what I wanted. Still couldn't get it or take the time to. I used a shellac color and the color was so uneven, still after multiple coats. I would not recommend this place, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Terrible. I've been there 3 times and each time I think to myself I'll never come back. Contrary to other reviews written -- I did not find it clean. The cuticle utensil had rust on it, there was garbage overflowing from behind the front desk which looked to have food it in, and when cleaning my nails the woman cut me. I started to bleed right away and she barely apologized. She didn't offer any compensation (I had already paid) and when she was done she got up and left without saying a word -- just disappeared. Poor service and the place smells like chemicals. Don't go. read more

I've been coming to this location for pedicures for years and was always pleased with the results. However, today was a different experience. I took my boyfriend's daughter to get a manicure. She wanted spiders or spiderwebs drawn on her nails for Halloween. We asked the woman if she could do it and showed her a picture and she said she could. She paid absolutely zero attention to my boyfriend's daughter. She did not clip or file her nails. She painted them alternating colors of black and white. She went to two other same aged girls and fawned over them and offered them lollipops. When I asked her if she would be drawing the spiders, she said flatly "No". Even though I had shown her a picture of what we wanted and she agreed, she just kept saying "No". I finally said "Can you please just paint all her nails black?" After several conversations with others working at the salon, she grudgingly agreed. I have never been treated so rudely. We will not be back. read more

Don't bother going on a Saturday.... I've used this Pro Nails a few times over the years, with mixed results. On a sleepy weekday morning I have their full attention, and the quality of the pedicure is excellent. But on a busy Saturday, forget it! I was there today and the technician barely had finished painting my toenails (this after a completely rushed service that didn't even include buffing my heels for more than 2 seconds) when the manager demanded I vacate the chair and go to the drying area. Not optimal, especially since there happened to already be four other clients crammed in the tiny two-seater drying area, so no room for me. I flung a $20 at him (I shouldn't have paid at all!) and left with a pedicure that looked worse than if I had done it myself at home. Here's the thing: when service is good, I tip the same amount as the service. But after today, I don't think I'll ever go back, not even on a weekday morning. read more
