Hate to dock some stars off for them as I LOVE this salon but this past visit was not the best unfortunately :( To start on a positive note, Mary, once again, did a fantastic job with my French tip gel pedicure. She always does it so cleanly and quickly. I always ask for her when getting a pedicure. As for the rest of the visit: (1) We made a reservation for two gel manis + pedis but only one person was attended to for the first hour. After Mary finished my pedicure she moved on to my friend's pedicure but no one came for her manicure. Then after being assigned a person, they moved that person to another client who had an appointment after us which was very disappointing. They were about to make us wait for Don to finish my manicure and then move on to my friend's nails (which, at the rate my nails were being done, would've made our visit closer to 3 hours). I figured they may have been short staffed this time around as all of the typical manicurists we like to go to were not in. But this should've been conveyed over the phone so we could've planned accordingly. (2) I had Don for my manicure for the first time. I always get nail art from here because they do such an amazing job but my experience with Don did not match my typical experience. I am surprised after reading all the good reviews and seeing his past work. He took almost two whole hours to complete my manicure (which is twice the time it has taken other manicurists at the salon). In addition to that, I felt the nail shaping was not done properly (had to ask him to fix multiple times and tell him where exactly I wanted it smoother) and the nail art took a while to do and wouldn't always be the cleanest. I will give him points for taking the time to fix whatever I wasn't happy with but I was not happy with having to go step-by-step on the designs/shaping with him. It wasn't as relaxing of an experience as I usually have when coming here. In the end, the nails turned out well but I just wasn't happy with how long everything took. read more

Cheated on my normal spot because they were fully booked and regret it. Walk in appointment. Pedicure was quick. Only took 20 minutes. Lady did not file my nails and kept trying to upsell me. Basic pedi is $27 so I choose classic for $31 that comes with 7 min massage with hot stone - not worth it. Massage was definitely under 7 mins and hot stones were used for about 30 seconds. Not worth the $4 extra Sloppy base coat. Rushed 2 coats of polished not even letting the first coat dry. She messed up one nail so she had to redo it and decided not to put a base coat on that nail. Overall I could have down a better job. They advertise 20% off on yelp and Google. Mentioned it and the lady told me I had to leave a five star review to get the discount. Now I see why they have so many positive reviews. Also didn't mention the cash discount. So many other better nail salons. I won't be back. read more

I absolutely love my nail ladies at Pro Nails, but unfortunately, my recent experience with the new manager was extremely disappointing. First, I called ahead because I KNOW how quickly this salon gets busy and wanted to make sure my friend and I could be seen together. When I called, the manager told me that I did not need an appointment and essentially made it seem like I was wrong for even asking. So, guess what happened when we walked in? They were completely slammed, and my friend and I couldn't even sit together. LOL. What made the situation worse was that he continued accepting walk-ins while the salon was already overwhelmed, telling people it would only be a "10-minute wait" when it was realistically closer to 30 minutes or more. Meanwhile, people who actually had appointments were waiting 30+ minutes because additional customers kept being taken. He also complained at least 7+ times about how busy they were and how he "didn't even have a chair to sit in," despite spending a large portion of the time sitting around and not helping the staff. He was also repeatedly walking outside to vape while the salon was struggling. On top of that, I heard him casually using profanity while speaking around young girls, which was completely unprofessional. One of the worst parts was watching him be rude and dismissive toward customers who were waiting for their appointments, as well as people calling the salon. There was also an issue where a woman came in for an appointment she had specifically booked with my nail tech. The manager told her that he had already informed my nail tech that she had an appointment, but that my nail tech continued taking me anyway. Even though HE was actually the one who told my nail tech to take me. Watching him shift the blame onto her rather than taking responsibility was incredibly frustrating. I genuinely feel bad for the staff because the ladies here are wonderful and I have always loved coming to Pro Nails. But this new manager has completely changed the atmosphere of the salon. The constant complaining, poor communication, rude attitude, overbooking, and lack of professionalism made what should have been a relaxing experience incredibly stressful. I really hope the owner takes these concerns seriously because the staff deserve better leadership, and loyal customers deserve better treatment. I love my nail ladies, but this management needs to change ASAP. read more

Always love the service here! Not like some of the nail salons, here all the people are very friendly and kind. They are good at communicating to find out your needs and they did good quality nails that last a long time. The massage chairs are comfortable, pedicure services are relaxing. I came here yesterday for a full set as a walk in, they took me in right away. The quality of nails is horrible, worst nails i've gotten in my life, the acrylic was over my cuticles and really tight and painful. The nail polish was a mess, the edges were horrible and looked like i painted them myself, the actual acrylic nail was so insanely thick and chunky. Very bad work. It was bad, but i didn't complain, and the worst was yet to come 24 hrs later. The worst of it all was the pain, my cuticles area was very uncomfortable. Today i woke up with my cuticles very raw and sensitive from the aggressive filing from the drill bits on my cuticles, which i mention several times that it hurt. Those caused me 4 cuts, with two of those very swollen and red cuticles, not sure if they are infected but it hurts a lot. Will never come back again. read more

What I got...uneven lines, literally just got out of the shops and already dents in the paint that she didn't fix. She was going so fast and literally had me drying my hands in 2 machines and didn't give me any time to check the line work. I changed to the silver chromey paint- not chrome powder and the extreme layer of paint is crazy. This design cost me an extra $25 by the way. This set is absolutely not worth $75 total and I will never be back again- and will definitely not recommend this place. read more
