Hate to dock some stars off for them as I LOVE this salon but this past visit was not the best unfortunately :( To start on a positive note, Mary, once again, did a fantastic job with my French tip gel pedicure. She always does it so cleanly and quickly. I always ask for her when getting a pedicure. As for the rest of the visit: (1) We made a reservation for two gel manis + pedis but only one person was attended to for the first hour. After Mary finished my pedicure she moved on to my friend's pedicure but no one came for her manicure. Then after being assigned a person, they moved that person to another client who had an appointment after us which was very disappointing. They were about to make us wait for Don to finish my manicure and then move on to my friend's nails (which, at the rate my nails were being done, would've made our visit closer to 3 hours). I figured they may have been short staffed this time around as all of the typical manicurists we like to go to were not in. But this should've been conveyed over the phone so we could've planned accordingly. (2) I had Don for my manicure for the first time. I always get nail art from here because they do such an amazing job but my experience with Don did not match my typical experience. I am surprised after reading all the good reviews and seeing his past work. He took almost two whole hours to complete my manicure (which is twice the time it has taken other manicurists at the salon). In addition to that, I felt the nail shaping was not done properly (had to ask him to fix multiple times and tell him where exactly I wanted it smoother) and the nail art took a while to do and wouldn't always be the cleanest. I will give him points for taking the time to fix whatever I wasn't happy with but I was not happy with having to go step-by-step on the designs/shaping with him. Cheated on my normal spot because they were fully booked and regret it. Walk in appointment. Pedicure was quick. Only took 20 minutes. Lady did not file my nails and kept trying to upsell me. Basic pedi is $27 so I choose classic for $31 that comes with 7 min massage with hot stone - not worth it. Massage was definitely under 7 mins and hot stones were used for about 30 seconds. Not worth the $4 extra Sloppy base coat. Rushed 2 coats of polished not even letting the first coat dry. She messed up one nail so she had to redo it and decided not to put a base coat on that nail. Overall I could have down a better job. They advertise 20% off on yelp and Google. Mentioned it and the lady told me I had to leave a five star review to get the discount. Now I see why they have so many positive reviews. Also didn't mention the cash discount. So many other better nail salons. I won't be back. read more

She was going so fast and literally had me drying my hands in 2 machines and didn't give me any time to check the line work. I visited Pro Nail & Spa for the first time after seeing their 20% discount promotion on Yelp, but unfortunately that discount wasn't honored. I called ahead on a Friday after work to confirm their advertised manicure and pedicure deal for $55 plus $10 for gel, which they said was still available even though it had been removed from their website. I also asked if they accepted credit cards or if I should bring cash, and they confirmed they took cards but failed to mention that using a card incurs an extra charge. That was an unpleasant surprise at checkout. When I arrived, the initial impression was promising. The salon looked clean and the staff was friendly. But the quality of the work didn't hold up under closer inspection. My toenails had polish missing along the sides, and the gel manicure was uneven. I had requested one Gel-X nail to even out a shorter natural nail and added luminous powder for an extra $10. Unfortunately, some nails had powder underneath, others weren't fully covered, and the gel application was so thin it didn't offer any real protection. The most noticeable issue was that my thumb nails were visibly different lengths when I left, which was disappointing. I had planned to return on Monday to have them fixed, but within just a couple of days two nails broke including my left thumb, which couldn't be salvaged. In total I paid $110, far more than I expected based on the original pricing I was quoted. Between the lack of transparency, inconsistent quality, and unexpected cost, I left feeling frustrated and let down. read more
