Got my eyebrows threaded here and had a great experience! My fiance and I came around noon on a Friday and there were no other customers. We were quickly greeted and the service started immediately. Priya threaded my eyebrows and she did a great job. She was friendly and super quick! I've had my eyebrows threaded before and it's normally pretty painful. This time around it wasn't that bad! Either Priya was gentle or I was extra strong today haha Priya offered me aloe after and I said yes. It felt so nice when she rubbed in the aloe and she even rubbed my temples for a quick second. Another lady was working on my fiance and he has quite thick eyebrows. Once Priya was done with me, she took over my fiance and moved very quickly. We were in and out of there pretty quickly! Pam did a great job with my brows! I told her how I hadn't gotten my brows done before Covid and to just give me a simple clean up (leaving my tails/keeping my arch). She could tell I was nervous about it so she showed me one brow halfway through to see if I liked it. She asked before trimming with scissors as well. I really appreciated her making me feel comfortable about what she was doing. My brows were exactly what I wanted. Tip: if you're paying with card, tell them to add the tip before giving them the card. She couldn't add the tip after she charged my card which I felt bad about, but I will be making it up next time I see her. read more

Found this place thanks to Yelp. This little gem of a threading salon is tucked away deep in a shopping plaza next to Stater Bros. It's near a community college (OCC), the freeway (405 & 73), and some malls (South Coast Plaza, The Lab, & The Camp), so it's convenient to stop by. I went in on a Friday early evening, but called before I came just to confirm the hours and if they were still taking more walk-ins (it was 6:45 and they close at 7:30pm on Friday). She said to come in - the wait was minimal for a Friday, so that was great. I saw a little handmade sign at the host desk stating that they prefer cash but accept CC also, which was another plus for me. Pricing was reasonable - It was under $20 to thread my eyebrows, upper & lower lip, and chin! Also, there was only one person working at 6:30pm on a Friday, so expect to wait if there's anyone in front of you. The lady that threaded me was friendly and gentle, and she did a great job. Worst service. The lady kept reusing the same stips again and again to pull out wax. When I asked her to use new strips she got mad at me and said don't teach me how to do my job. When my skin became red (see pictures) and I felt it will rip off, I asked her to stop but she kept going. I had to hold her hand to make her stop and she got even worse and refused to complete the service. I had to get out of there half done coz this lady seemed so frustrated that she was ready to rip off my skin in her anger. Of course she charged me full price for the service even though she damaged my skin and tried to get into a fight with me. I am never returning again and would suggest to stay away from this salon. Tried it out for the first time today after chatting with Bryan N. on Yelp. Hi Bryan! :D Hubby and I were in the area, and, as I hadn't had any threading done in at least over a year (*sad face*), it was seriously time to get some beautifying done. This is the same shopping center as Stater Brothers, O'Reillys, and Ramen Yamadaya. It's in the far corner near the tobacco shop, so it's a little hidden, but you should be able to see the store from the parking lot. When I walked in today, there was one staff member in the far back, and another one already working with a customer. She was finishing up with the customer, so I was in the threading seat in probably around 2 minutes after walking in. The staff member from the back came to the front to see if hubby wanted a threading, too, which he politely declined. XD The actual threading process was okay. I knew it'd hurt more than normal because it's my first time in over a year, and I knew she had her work cut out for her because she had to reshape it. She did great! Took around 5 to 8 minutes, and it wasn't TOO horribly red after she was done. After an hour, the redness was gone. Hubby called me a shiba inu for a few hours, though -_- Threading was $8, plus tip. They take both cash and card. They also have a stamp card! As hubby and I frequent the area, I may have to make this one of my quick-stops for eyebrow maintenance! read more

I hate leaving less than amazing reviews but wanted to give my honest feedback about the Brazilian Wax experience that I had. The woman who runs the shop is so sweet but unfortunately the appointment that I had left me a little scarred! I came in for a Brazilian Wax and it became clear to me she wasn't that experienced in that type of offering. She even said to me during the appointment she doesn't like doing Brazilian waxes. The whole appointment took OVER AN HOUR and she took a walk-in appointment midway through my appointment so I was left in the back room to wait which I thought was unprofessional. The wax + strips pulled on my skin and was extremely uncomfortable and I am a seasoned pro at this type of waxing as I get 1 every 5 weeks. Because of her technique it required her to go over the Brazilian area MANY times which was extremely painful, I was sore for days after. By the end of the appointment I had wax and stray hairs all over my lower half, when I got home I had to shower and scrub off the leftover mess. I can't speak to any other service but would recommend people look elsewhere for a Bikini/Brazilian wax. read more

I have been coming here for 2 years with variable results and I even referred one of my friends here. But the customer service is lacking. The lady took someone else before me and when I politely mentioned that I was there first she told me that it was just going to be 5 minutes. The other client was okay to go in the proper order but the threading lady was telling me to wait because it was apparently only 5 minutes. The price is $8, which is completely reasonable, especially since they know exactly what they're doing!! Amazing! I had my eyebrows filled in prior to coming and have been trying to grow them out. I let her know I wanted to keep them thick and was trying to grow them out so if she could follow the way they were filled in. She did! I am so happy!
