My mom and I went in on Thursday afternoon! I got my eyebrows threaded and my mom got her full face threaded! The lady who did my eyebrows did such a great job I was happy with my results! For my eyebrows it was $10 My moms full face threading was $35 She was also very happy with her results! My mom was nervous about the eyebrows but the lady just said she cleans them up doesn't change the shape! read more

Came in shortly after 10am on Saturday morning and got seated immediately (there were no other customers). Got my upper lip and eyebrows threaded for $16 ($20 after tip). Was very quick and shaped them nicely but she nicked my eyebrows a little bit on the right side below the eyebrow. They take card but prefer cash. read more

Nearly left in tears. Half of my brows were taken off, and they've never been this thin. Didn't catch the lady's name, but she was not experienced and even admitted she's "not that great." I wish I was exaggerating. read more

I went in today 8/25/2025 and was helped by subi (I am sorry if I spelled your name wrong) she is so sweet and explained what brow shape works best with the anatomy of my face. She was so polite and the quality of her work is amazing. I am very happy with my eye brows. I want her to do my brows every time I go in. Pam did a great job with my brows! I told her how I hadn't gotten my brows done before Covid and to just give me a simple clean up (leaving my tails/keeping my arch). She could tell I was nervous about it so she showed me one brow halfway through to see if I liked it. She asked before trimming with scissors as well. I really appreciated her making me feel comfortable about what she was doing. My brows were exactly what I wanted. Tip: if you're paying with card, tell them to add the tip before giving them the card. She couldn't add the tip after she charged my card which I felt bad about, but I will be making it up next time I see her. read more

My go to place for eyebrow threading. The staff is super quick and always make sure I am comfortable. They also offer aloe gel at the end. They have a punch card program if you get 10 services as well which is really nice of them to offer. Definitely a great clean spot for threading in the are! read more

Found this place thanks to Yelp. This little gem of a threading salon is tucked away deep in a shopping plaza next to Stater Bros. It's near a community college (OCC), the freeway (405 & 73), and some malls (South Coast Plaza, The Lab, & The Camp), so it's convenient to stop by. I went in on a Friday early evening, but called before I came just to confirm the hours and if they were still taking more walk-ins (it was 6:45 and they close at 7:30pm on Friday). She said to come in - the wait was minimal for a Friday, so that was great. I saw a little handmade sign at the host desk stating that they prefer cash but accept CC also, which was another plus for me. Pricing was reasonable - It was under $20 to thread my eyebrows, upper & lower lip, and chin! Also, there was only one person working at 6:30pm on a Friday, so expect to wait if there's anyone in front of you. The lady that threaded me was friendly and gentle, and she did a great job. They'll see me again. read more

Roop is nestled in the corner of Stater Bros plaza on Fairview and Baker. This is the only spot I go to for my 'brows. Sobi always does a great job and has an amazing attitude. I didn't see Sobi for a few weeks and as a result I let my eyebrows get a bit unruly ... fortunately she was there this past weekend and thanks to her, my eyebrows are back to normal read more

I've been going to Roop to get my eyebrows threaded for a little over a year now, so I figured it was time to write a review and give props to this hidden gem. They're very friendly, fast, and it's the threading is always painless. I've had nothing but great experiences here and the ladies in this salon take extra precautions against COVID, so I've felt extremely safe during every visit. Worst service. The lady kept reusing the same stips again and again to pull out wax. When I asked her to use new strips she got mad at me and said don't teach me how to do my job. When my skin became red (see pictures) and I felt it will rip off, I asked her to stop but she kept going. I had to hold her hand to make her stop and she got even worse and refused to complete the service. I had to get out of there half done coz this lady seemed so frustrated that she was ready to rip off my skin in her anger. Of course she charged me full price for the service even though she damaged my skin and tried to get into a fight with me. I am never returning again and would suggest to stay away from this salon. I wish I could give -ve stars read more

I love this place! My boyfriend and I are regulars. The shop lady is so sweet and kind. We have that they have a point system with the stamp card. If you got 10 times you get the 11 free I think. We go every two-three weeks. She always does a really good job! read more

Tried it out for the first time today after chatting with Bryan N. on Yelp. Hi Bryan! :D Hubby and I were in the area, and, as I hadn't had any threading done in at least over a year (*sad face*), it was seriously time to get some beautifying done. This is the same shopping center as Stater Brothers, O'Reillys, and Ramen Yamadaya. It's in the far corner near the tobacco shop, so it's a little hidden, but you should be able to see the store from the parking lot. When I walked in today, there was one staff member in the far back, and another one already working with a customer. She was finishing up with the customer, so I was in the threading seat in probably around 2 minutes after walking in. The staff member from the back came to the front to see if hubby wanted a threading, too, which he politely declined. XD The actual threading process was okay. I knew it'd hurt more than normal because it's my first time in over a year, and I knew she had her work cut out for her because she had to reshape it. She did great! Took around 5 to 8 minutes, and it wasn't TOO horribly red after she was done. After an hour, the redness was gone. Hubby called me a shiba inu for a few hours, though -_- Threading was $8, plus tip. They take both cash and card. They also have a stamp card! As hubby and I frequent the area, I may have to make this one of my quick-stops for eyebrow maintenance! read more

Sooo this is the only place I trust with my eyebrows. Sobi is a magician when it comes to threading and always leaves me happy. I don't even have to tell her how I want them or like them, she just knows what to do. She works weekends so I always make sure to stop by and see her when I need my threading done. I hate leaving less than amazing reviews but wanted to give my honest feedback about the Brazilian Wax experience that I had. The woman who runs the shop is so sweet but unfortunately the appointment that I had left me a little scarred! I came in for a Brazilian Wax and it became clear to me she wasn't that experienced in that type of offering. She even said to me during the appointment she doesn't like doing Brazilian waxes. The whole appointment took OVER AN HOUR and she took a walk-in appointment midway through my appointment so I was left in the back room to wait which I thought was unprofessional. The wax + strips pulled on my skin and was extremely uncomfortable and I am a seasoned pro at this type of waxing as I get 1 every 5 weeks. Because of her technique it required her to go over the Brazilian area MANY times which was extremely painful, I was sore for days after. By the end of the appointment I had wax and stray hairs all over my lower half, when I got home I had to shower and scrub off the leftover mess. I can't speak to any other service but would recommend people look elsewhere for a Bikini/Brazilian wax. read more

It was my first time coming here because I got out of work and wanted to finally get my eyebrows threaded. I don't usually like to try new places but saw this place has almost 5 stars so decided to try it. However she threaded my eyebrows a bit too much and they're not exactly even. You can't tell unless you're looking closely which is good I guess. However I did inform her only clean and shape nothing else so for her to go a bit overboard is a bit disappointing. This is my second time here. Even though I didn't like the service when I came here for the first time,the lady that day did put some effort on threading my eyebrows. I went there yesterday and there was some other lady(#2) who was so not interested in listening to what I want and how I want my eyebrows done . I told her that I want a good shape and I grew my eyebrows so that you can get a good shape out of it ,but she seemed to be not in the mood. She just did my eyebrow for the sake of it. I have been coming here for 2 years with variable results and I even referred one of my friends here. But the customer service is lacking. The lady took someone else before me and when I politely mentioned that I was there first she told me that it was just going to be 5 minutes. The other client was okay to go in the proper order but the threading lady was telling me to wait because it was apparently only 5 minutes. Some people are on a schedule and what is the point of waiting if no order is going to be followed. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with my brow & lip! Amazing job ladies!! My arch was perfect & that's coming from someone who never trusts people with my brows! I would recommend you washing your hands the MINUTE before the procedure & wearing gloves, coming from a medical background, please understand it's s big deal & will protect us all. I am so happy I found this place! This is by far the best eyebrow threading salon I've ever been to...and trust me, I've been to plenty. The price is $8, which is completely reasonable, especially since they know exactly what they're doing!! I've been here a couple of times and each time I was more than satisfied with how my brows came out. I also very much appreciate how I don't get shamed for coming in with messy, unkept brows. I think I got the same girl each time I went and she was very gentle with my brows and got my shape down perfectly. Before when I went to another threading salon I always left bleeding! I was beginning to think maybe I just had some really sensitive skin or something. But after going here I'm reassured that it was just that other place. The girl here at Roop also gives a short little massage on your brows when she applies the aloe afterwards! Feels so relaxing! Her name is SIA! She's seriously the best and I don't think I'll ever trust anyone else to do my brows now that I found her. read more

She immediately started marking my face, and when I stopped her to ask what we were doing with my brows, she told me they don't do consultations and instead use a stencil and wax everything outside of it. I trusted the process, but as she started waxing, she mentioned she had just started doing brows and that this is how she was taught. My brows were very full before and only needed a cleanup. When she finished, they were much thinner and uneven, and I was shocked. She said, "Next time we can use a thicker stencil," but I was never asked what I wanted beforehand or shown what my brows would look like before waxing. A simple consultation would have prevented this. Brows are not one-size-fits-all, and waxing without understanding the client's goals is careless. If you care about your brows, I recommend going to an artist who takes the time to ask what you want instead of relying on stencils.
