I started going here after my friend recommended it to me. They do a great job with the shape, which I'm particular about because some places remove too much hair. They offer multiservice deals, so I pre-purchased five services for $50. I really like Lilly, who provides attentive, clean, and fast threading service. She's super sweet and ensures a great experience. Rupa and the other ladies are great too. They offer hand sanitizer at the beginning so you can clean your hands before touching your face to hold the skin tight during threading. In between, they provide a handheld mirror to confirm you're happy with the shape, so you're not surprised at the end. I also like the aloe vera they offer at the end for aftercare to soothe any redness. read more

This is long overdue because Rupa has been my girl for 4ish years now! Her salon is very clean and spacious, and her work is beautiful. All her employees also do their best! I've never realized how much my eyebrow shape can flatter and polish my face until Rupa started doing them for me. They also do other services at the salon like henna work, extensions, facials, lash lifts and others. I personally get lash lifts a couple times in the year and they do it very well here too, better than the $150 ones in other "aesthetic" salons in NB and HB and for a fraction of the price. Called to see if they accepted walk ins and they did so I brought my 91 year old mom here to get a facial and eyebrow tinting. Arrived and there was no other customers in the place, however it did get a steady flow after we arrived. They were very friendly and my mom thoroughly enjoyed the treatment she got. I'm so pissed. I usually get my brows done at this other place with this specific girl but she's on vacation so I had to do it at this place. My friend recommended it to me. It's not even bc it doesn't look like how I would usually get them bc I know that's impossible. ITS THE FACT ITS UNEVEN it looks worse in person my friends literally started laughing. I LOVE this place!!! The vibe is very spa-like. The technicians are very polite and helpful. Gentle hands (which is a big deal, when pulling hairs from your face!). Very clean environment! It's been a while since I'd gotten my eyebrows done and I finally decided to look for a threading salon in my area. Many of the salons I came across were overpriced compared to the $5 dollars I'd pay in Artesia, so when I found Golden Eye Threading, I was so happy! I arrived on a Saturday morning expecting it to be busy, but luckily I showed up right on time and was seated immediately. Usha assited me that morning and cleaned up my eyebrows ($7.99) and upper lip ($4.99). She did a great job maintaining the shape a fullness of my brow and was gentle throughout the entire process. I will admit, it **did** hurt and I teared up but I'm not sure if I'm just really sensitive in my eye area. They had a deal where you can purchase 5 sessions for eyebrow and upper lip for $55 that I signed up for, as I see myself going back here, but I may try it out with a different person the next time I visit (just to compare), however I can confidently say I'm satisfied with the results. read more

I was just .4 miles away & I needed my eyebrows done so I just had to stop by! I got my eyebrows and my upper lip threaded and she was very attentive to detail, which I highly appreciate. My eyebrows are naturally bushy. Most places I go to they do not pay as much attention to detail as this place. The lady I got was very kind and she really knows what she's doing with the process. Went here for the first time last week to get my eyebrows threaded. I usually get mine waxed but have moved in the past month so I needed to find a new place to get my eyebrows done. My sister told me about Golden Eye Threading after she went to Rupa. Gave a good recommendation so I decided to try them out also. I called right when they opened to schedule an appointment that afternoon. I believe it was Rupa I spoke with on the phone. She got down my name and time for my appointment. When it came time for me to get my eyebrows threaded I checked in on their iPad with my name and phone number. Very quick and easy. Rupa was friendly and gave a pleasant experience. It took no longer than 10-15 minutes for the threading and everything came out perfect, exactly how I wanted my eyebrows to be shaped. Rupa had a special $40 for 5 threadings, which I happily purchased for future visits. They currently only accept cash or Venmo so keep that in mind if you decide to go for their services. Came in on a Friday at 4 p.m. and there was two people ahead of me in the chair. As you walk in they have a iPad to sign in on and what services you would like. I filled it out and picked Rupa. She had me sit down and I let her know what I needed. I wanted to have my eyebrows just cleaned up since I'm growing them out. She did an awesome job! She asked where I was from and I said I was new to the area. That I found her through a Yelp review! She didn't disappoint & was gentle. Love how my eyebrows turned out! It was $10 for eyebrows & $5 for lip. They have a special for $65 for 5 visits on lip/eyebrows and it's linked to your number. Thank you Rupa! read more

Such a random find for me and it turned out to be a rare gem! I came in really late one night because I needed a threading spot but didn't know where to look. I found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. As I'm getting my lip and brows threaded, I see a big picture inside that they do lashes extensions. I had a ton of questions on how it works and Rupa was so patient with me. I trusted her patience so I decided to do lashes with her. Right after my threading, she hopped right into my lash extensions. She showed me different options of the material (I went with the step up of mink) and even showed me the different lengths. I chose a longer length and did a natural look. After an hour and 15 minutes, I was done and wow... they looked amazing. After a week, I liked the look so much that I went back in to get them more full. They look incredible! I definitely recommend. read more

Eyebrow tinting in medium brown! Photo shows the application and the immediate results after 10 minutes. Definitely trust the process because I was freaking out about how thick the henna was applied hahah. Only $20, and now I don't have to fill in my brows in the morning! I've read that facial henna lasts shorter, but the store told me it should last 2 weeks :) fingers crossed! read more

Went in because my usual eyebrow place was closed. I was on my way to an event in Costa Mesa with my friends. One eyebrow was decent, but I still had to go home and fix up the hairs that were out of place or broken off poorly. The other eyebrow was made to look like an upside down Nike logo. The arch was so sharp, I was honestly surprised she didn't catch it. $10 for eyebrow service. Pretty fair price, but for the effort in having to fix it, I regret not waiting for my usual salon. read more

On multiple occasions, I've had them tell me the wait is 15min. Ended up being 45-60min wait. Quality of work is good though, and I only come back here because I purchased a package deal. Wish they were more up front about their wait times. read more

Go ANYWHERE ELSE!! I went for threading but saw they have lash lifts & lamination so I said sure let's spoil myself. Took one and a half. I went home looked in the mirror & started crying. Got in my car and came back. The ladies had me wait 20 mins & just stood their staring at me. Like you let me leave like this...why stare at me? Anyways I have NEVER left an eyebrow place looking like this. I also never paid $131 and been so upset. They are rude as hell. They do NOT do a good job. They tried to get me to leave my card number? They said they had to call the "manager" when she's the owner of the store. She walked away to the back & talked to no one! Fake call lol. Then came back & was all the sudden able to refund. Been going to this place for awhile and I love it. I got the package for brows and lip and do the chin threading additional. It's inexpensive, and usually slow so I don't normally set an appointment. Even when I show up and there's others in line the lady is quick with customers. My eyes always tear up when she does my upper lip and she's super nice and blots them away with a tissue for me haha. 10/10!! read more

Went on a whim to get my brows threaded after having a little extra to treat myself this week. I live close so I yelped and saw good reviews. (Its always tricky moving to a new city and having to find new beauticians and such.) Luckily, Tina was so sweet. She even let me park my bike IN the shop. She took me right away, (Thurs @ 3ish) and the whole ordeal took maybe 7 min tops. She showed me the first side, and it looked great. Minimal minimal pain, though I have rarely ever felt pain getting threaded. She showed me a mirror once she was done and they were great. I firmly believe a good threader doesn't need direction... she just knew the best shape for my face, didn't over thread, and she trimmed the long hairs on top. The best part was afterward.... she gave me this amazing mini eyebrow massage... I literally felt like she put me in a trance within seconds. And I needed it this day! She knew she did some magic because afterwards, I saw her wink! Besides being a wonderful woman, Tina is a magic worker! Thank you. read more

Don't come here. I only came out of convenience since it's right next to my school and I really needed my brows done. First off I emphasized to the lady just a clean up but she made them so THIN, not to mention super uneven from my other eyebrow. I know eyebrows aren't supposed to be identical but the difference is noticeable. Save your time. read more

My regular threading place. Nothing amazing to report. They are clean, do a good job, have good hrs of service. One major thing they have going is the value. If you pre pay for 5 brow threading, it's $40, instead of $50. Worth it! read more

We absolutely loved Golden Eye Threading! The people here are so nice and easy going. They did an amazing job with our eyebrows and only 8$! The lady that helped me personally was very kind and her name was Gita and she did an amazing job always making sure I was comfortable and trying not to make it hurt.
