I started going here after my friend recommended it to me. They do a great job with the shape, which I'm particular about because some places remove too much hair. They offer multiservice deals, so I pre-purchased five services for $50. I really like Lilly, who provides attentive, clean, and fast threading service. She's super sweet and ensures a great experience. Rupa and the other ladies are great too. They offer hand sanitizer at the beginning so you can clean your hands before touching your face to hold the skin tight during threading. In between, they provide a handheld mirror to confirm you're happy with the shape, so you're not surprised at the end. I also like the aloe vera they offer at the end for aftercare to soothe any redness. read more

This is long overdue because Rupa has been my girl for 4ish years now! Her salon is very clean and spacious, and her work is beautiful. All her employees also do their best! I've never realized how much my eyebrow shape can flatter and polish my face until Rupa started doing them for me. They also do other services at the salon like henna work, extensions, facials, lash lifts and others. I personally get lash lifts a couple times in the year and they do it very well here too, better than the $150 ones in other "aesthetic" salons in NB and HB and for a fraction of the price. It's been a while since I'd gotten my eyebrows done and I finally decided to look for a threading salon in my area. Many of the salons I came across were overpriced compared to the $5 dollars I'd pay in Artesia, so when I found Golden Eye Threading, I was so happy! I arrived on a Saturday morning expecting it to be busy, but luckily I showed up right on time and was seated immediately. Usha assited me that morning and cleaned up my eyebrows ($7.99) and upper lip ($4.99). She did a great job maintaining the shape a fullness of my brow and was gentle throughout the entire process. I will admit, it **did** hurt and I teared up but I'm not sure if I'm just really sensitive in my eye area. They had a deal where you can purchase 5 sessions for eyebrow and upper lip for $55 that I signed up for, as I see myself going back here, but I may try it out with a different person the next time I visit (just to compare), however I can confidently say I'm satisfied with the results. read more

Went here for the first time last week to get my eyebrows threaded. I usually get mine waxed but have moved in the past month so I needed to find a new place to get my eyebrows done. My sister told me about Golden Eye Threading after she went to Rupa. Gave a good recommendation so I decided to try them out also. I called right when they opened to schedule an appointment that afternoon. I believe it was Rupa I spoke with on the phone. She got down my name and time for my appointment. When it came time for me to get my eyebrows threaded I checked in on their iPad with my name and phone number. Very quick and easy. Rupa was friendly and gave a pleasant experience. It took no longer than 10-15 minutes for the threading and everything came out perfect, exactly how I wanted my eyebrows to be shaped. Rupa had a special $40 for 5 threadings, which I happily purchased for future visits. They currently only accept cash or Venmo so keep that in mind if you decide to go for their services. Such a random find for me and it turned out to be a rare gem! I came in really late one night because I needed a threading spot but didn't know where to look. I found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. As I'm getting my lip and brows threaded, I see a big picture inside that they do lashes extensions. I had a ton of questions on how it works and Rupa was so patient with me. I trusted her patience so I decided to do lashes with her. Right after my threading, she hopped right into my lash extensions. She showed me different options of the material (I went with the step up of mink) and even showed me the different lengths. I chose a longer length and did a natural look. After an hour and 15 minutes, I was done and wow... they looked amazing. One eyebrow was decent, but I still had to go home and fix up the hairs that were out of place or broken off poorly. The other eyebrow was made to look like an upside down Nike logo. Went on a whim to get my brows threaded after having a little extra to treat myself this week. I live close so I yelped and saw good reviews. (Its always tricky moving to a new city and having to find new beauticians and such.) Luckily, Tina was so sweet. She even let me park my bike IN the shop. She took me right away, (Thurs @ 3ish) and the whole ordeal took maybe 7 min tops. She showed me the first side, and it looked great. Minimal minimal pain, though I have rarely ever felt pain getting threaded. She showed me a mirror once she was done and they were great. I firmly believe a good threader doesn't need direction... she just knew the best shape for my face, didn't over thread, and she trimmed the long hairs on top. The best part was afterward.... she gave me this amazing mini eyebrow massage... I literally felt like she put me in a trance within seconds. And I needed it this day!
