I had a great experience. I came in for a Brazilian, I had been looking for a place very last minute. I called in to ask if they accepted walk ins of which they did. Quick and great service. Sobi was amazing and walked me through the process, asked if I was ok between strips. I will most definitely come back read more

I've been going here for many years. Pam is a very talented threader! She used to teach Tika (previous owner) how to thread too. I love the way she trims my brows. Not many know how to trim brows properly. I'm so glad she's back in Costa Mesa threading! read more

Excellent threading, very precise. But waxing was underwhelming, Wouldn't recommend for waxing unless it is an emergency.

Came here because it had really great reviews and I live close by so I decided to try it out. When I walked in, the lady who worked there (Pam) was asleep on the chairs next to me. She woke up shortly after I walked in and asked me what I needed. I asked her a few questions about the price of things after she woke up and she seemed very cranky and somewhat annoyed...and when she started threading she was not polite at all. When she needed me to turn my head or hold my eyelid and the top of my brow when she was threading she gave me more of a command than a polite, "could you please...". All in all I'm never coming here again. My eyebrows ALSO came out somewhat uneven. So don't waste your time coming here. read more

I've been coming to place for years and I've grown to love sobi. She's a sweetheart and does my eyebrows perfectly . She currently only works on the weekends read more

Vibes are always calm and cool pretty quiet and lady is super nice and chill overall I give it a 9 out of 10

I love this place! so accommodating and always willing to make any additional adjustments. very friendly and warm local business

My go-to eyebrow threading place! They always do a great job on my brows. Very good services.

Hadn't had my eyebrow thread for years and was paying a lot of $$$$ for waxing. This place is awesomely priced and the results are 100% better and more precise than anyone who's ever waxed my eyebrows. Will be sticking to threading from now on. Be back on Friyay! read more

I've been coming here for a few months now and it's a great location! Suri is awesome and takes good care of my eyebrows lol I highly recommend her! read more

I needed a clean up ASAP and decided to check this place out. Quick easy in and out. It's a clean big place. During my visit, there were only two workers on site. One person was working on someone and the second person was behind the counter. She greeted me and had me sign in, then proceeded to have me sit in a chair. My brows were a huge mess and definitely needed a clean up. I told her specifically I wanted a clean up with a bit more arch, and not too thin (I notice when I don't tell them this, they always make my eyebrows super thin. At any place). She was quick. It felt a little painful but I notice she seemed to try to be precise and clean. I felt she was even getting little individual hairs I had. I liked her precision. Very quiet and clean here. I was in and out within ten minutes. Aside from that, it was quick and clean. She did as I requested. This place is a little bit more than my regular place. If I need another clean up ASAP, I may come back here. But I'll stick to my regular and not lag on my eye brows next time :) read more

Roop Threading Salon - Waxing Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

I just moved to Costa Mesa and was looking for a new threading location. I have been here 3 times now and each time has been wonderful. I have had two different stylists and I would say both were equally good. They were efficient, kind, and worked smoothly. It is also never too busy when I go in, I can always be seen right away. My eyebrows are on point and I can't get over the $8 price! Highly recommended. read more

Roop Threading Salon - My third visit to Roop threading and very happy! - Waxing Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

They will leave the hor wax on your face, then get their strips ready.... Came twice and left both times with gnarly scars. Do NOT recommend. Go to the Asians next door read more

Roop Threading Salon - Waxing Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

May want to call ahead to confirm someone is there before doing a "walk-in." I was disappointed today when I drove over during their listed business hours and the door was locked and no one was there. I presume they may have been at lunch, but they don't list a lunch hour so I assumed it would be fine. Didn't want to wait since I had no idea how long it would be. Unfortunately, this was the second time I've gone there and no one was there when I arrived. That being said, when I have been able to get my eyebrows done, I've been happy with the results. But will definitely be calling in advance if I come back. read more

I was looking for a threading salon on a Saturday evening, I NEEDED to get my brows and upper lip threaded! It was close to 8pm and nowhere was open except for Roop, and I'm so glad it was!! They were friendly, lots of space in this studio, they have restrooms, AND my brows and upper lip looked great after. This salon is located in the corner of a shopping center, next to Stater Bros and Subway. I live in Huntington Beach, but would drive here for my next brow emergency! Thanks Roop Threading! read more

(This review is for the threader that is at chair #2) I went in for a brow thread and was very happy with the end result (shape was great). However, I felt like each of the hairs was threaded individually, which was so uncomfortable. A good threader threads with quick, easy sweeps. As a result, I was left with little red welts (if that makes sense) where the hairs were removed. I do not have sensitive skin, in fact, it's quite resilient when it comes to harsh treatment. It stung to the touch and was frustrating to deal with for a couple of days. I'll be back because it's a good location and I'm a sucker for not having to drive far, but I won't be going to her. Update: I've gone back two times since the first time and the owner (I think) did my brows. They looked great and it wasn't painful. read more

Great staff that make you feel welcome. Awesome comfy chairs too. They can work magic here!! They turned my overgrown shapeless eyebrows into beautiful eyebrows. Thank you! Come here and you won't be disappointed. Note: the store is located by the family health store. A sign is not visible from the parking lot. However, it's located in the corner of the strip mall by subway. read more

Roop Threading Salon - I always get red but notice what a clean job! Very professional. - Waxing Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Tika was great. She took the time to thoroughly clean up my brows, lips, and chin. And gave a great massage at the end!

So I'm always willing to give different threading a salon a chance, and with this chance, I am glad I visited. The lady who threaded my eyebrows was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a lot closer than Nanu, whom I usually go to. The pricing is fair and is $1 cheaper than Nanu and $3 cheaper than Ziba's (I think it was $11 the last time I visited Ziba's.) However, the upper lip threading is $5 compared to Nanu's $4, which is fine and offsets the eyebrows. If you're getting both eyebrow and upper, than the price comes out to be about the same. If you only get eyebrows, than Roop is the obv choice to why you would want to visit. Roope's salon is freshly new and definitely clean. Must visit if you don't have a favorite threading salon! read more

The Good: My brows look great! The Bad: This is my second extremely painful threading experience this year. After 4 years of threading, I have gotten accustomed to a lot less pain. This wasn't pleasant. read more

Came here with two friends to get eyebrows threaded. The staff was so friendly and communicative, making sure we liked the shape and giving us the option of putting on some aloe vera gel after. I would definitely come again! read more

Tika is amazing my eyebrows look great will definitely be back to this location! She was able to take me right away with no wait.

Sara did a great job threading my eyebrows. It's a week later and they still look great! I'm working on reshaping my brows and getting them thicker and she tidied them up and gave them a good shape while understanding that I'm working on growing in some areas. And you can't beat the price! read more

Just noticed this place today after shopping at Stater brothers. Ran in, eyebrows threaded, out the door in under five minutes! Got all the little blonde brow hairs that sometimes get missed. Clean, cute and convenient! Thank you and I'll be back. read more

Came here last night about 45 minutes before they closed for an eyebrow cleanup and sides. I didn't do my eyebrows/sides for about 2 months since the previous place I used to go to left one of my eyebrows super thin and they took of more hair than needed on one my sides. I thought it was going to hurt since it had been a while but Kamala really knows what she is doing! My experience here was amazing, thanks to Kamala!! She was really nice and would ask if I was doing okay. She even offered to stop for a bit to give me a little break from the pain but I was okay. Such amazing customer service! I will definitely be coming back! read more

Today was my first time. I actually noticed this shop within the several times I've been in the plaza to get Tasteas a few doors down but never went in until today. I really needed my eyebrows done and did a quick check on yelp. I was happy to see so many great reviews. So I took the chance and went in. I was there around 11am (Wed.). No wait time. The shop is simple, clean, and quite spacious. Tika took me, asked me a few simple questions about my exp. with threading and if I had any preferences for how I wanted it done or shaped. All I knew was that I wanted it more natural, and she got to work right away. Took no longer than 5-7 minutes for me, and I felt no discomforts. She gave me a hand mirror to check right after and make sure I was satisfied. Then she gestured to an array of bottles on her station to see if I wanted anything applied afterwards (Aloe Vera gel, lotion, etc.), which I politely declined. Never been happier to see such clean, beautifully threaded brows. (Thank you, Tika!) $8, and I love that they do stamp cards. Will definitely be back here to get my eyebrows done in the future! read more

Found this place thanks to Yelp and all of you wonderful Yelpers out there! I had just gotten my hair done at Paul Mitchell and didn't feel like driving to Newport Beach to Perfect Brows and stumbled upon this place. I walked right in and was threaded and out within 8 minutes MAX!! I was soooo happy. She was very quick and did an amazing job. I don't know her name but so happy. $8.00- brows! Can't beat the price :) Found my new fav spot!! read more

Tika is an eyebrow goddess. She has done a great job on each of my daughters every single time and she understands not every girl is looking for that Batman eyebrow arch look. Prices are very reasonable and if you go mid afternoon on a weekday there's no wait. read more

Very dirty. Not hygienic. Floor is dirty. Only 1 worker and she gives you attitude if u ask for more service. Not good. You can only go for threading I guess that too on last priority read more

So I have been to Roop Threading Salon probably over 10 times. At the salon, the women here definitely know how to thread eyebrows. I can appreciate that all the women who work here, all thread eyebrows the same way. This is pretty much the only salon I will go to if I need my eyebrows threaded. Another thing is that I have been waxed here a few times (down below), and if I have to say anything about that - is that I've started looking for other places to get waxed. At the end of the day though, this is my go to eyebrow threading place. The women here are always really nice, I like threading - and the price is really fair. I think it costs like $8 to get your brows done, so cheap. Another thing is that there is a ton of parking here, which is nice. This salon is also located conveniently next to a market and restaurants in case you want to do other things after getting your eyebrows done. I would recommend this place because it's so cheap and they do a really good job on eyebrows. read more

First time and not sure if I'll ever come back to this place at this point. Got a 3 inch long pretty bad cut under my cheek which I didn't noticed it while at the place as she quickly handed me the mirror at the end of my session. When I got home, it started to burn and sting and then I saw the long bumpy burning bloodshot area below my cheek. I felt it was carelessness on the girl who was working on me. She was ripping thru and not being careful at all. Besides the cut, I also noticed she ripped a chunk of my lower lashes and I now have a bold spot on my bottom lash line as well. Really disappointed as I decided to go here based on the raving reviews. Did not turned out well for me at all. read more

Came on Saturday. Shop is clean. Pam was my brow tech. Super nice , I have her direction for my Brows since it was my First time. She listened and made sure I did not leave until she satisfied my desired brow look. Brows were $8 which is reasonable. No complaints and I would def recommend and come back! read more

I love this place! The ladies here are not only very kind but also very precise and skilled. I trust them whenever I ask to shape my eyebrows a little. My new go to threading salon! I literally just got home from getting my brows done by Tika (sp?). I wanted to write a review because it's a new business and I would love to see them flourish...though, the lack of wait time is great for us customers. ANYWAY: this is the first time my brows have looked EVEN in I don't even know how long, it's ridiculous. Can't wait to show them off. I'm very, very impressed with the way Tika somehow managed to find my long lost arches thanks, betch. See ya next week ;) read more

This place is fairly new. I was initially skeptical but my boyfriend spotted the place & said it was inexpensive. $8 brow, $5 upper lip! Kamala (not sure of spelling) provided my service and she did an awesome job! She listened to what kind of brow I was looking for as I had some patchy areas and did not want her to really touch that area so that hair could grow in. She also fixed the shape of the brows so they looked more symmetrical. She asked if I was ok the entire time and was sooo gentle! The upper lip was obviously a little more painful but better than other threading places. Highly recommend for the price. My first got them done by her partner but they looked good too :) Thanks ya'll! read more
