Got my eyebrows threaded here and had a great experience! My fiance and I came around noon on a Friday and there were no other customers. We were quickly greeted and the service started immediately. Priya threaded my eyebrows and she did a great job. She was friendly and super quick! I've had my eyebrows threaded before and it's normally pretty painful. This time around it wasn't that bad! Either Priya was gentle or I was extra strong today haha Priya offered me aloe after and I said yes. It felt so nice when she rubbed in the aloe and she even rubbed my temples for a quick second. Another lady was working on my fiance and he has quite thick eyebrows. Once Priya was done with me, she took over my fiance and moved very quickly. We were in and out of there pretty quickly! Overall, a great experience at Roop! I'd definitely come back.

Worst service. The lady kept reusing the same stips again and again to pull out wax. When I asked her to use new strips she got mad at me and said don't teach me how to do my job. When my skin became red (see pictures) and I felt it will rip off, I asked her to stop but she kept going. I had to hold her hand to make her stop and she got even worse and refused to complete the service. I had to get out of there half done coz this lady seemed so frustrated that she was ready to rip off my skin in her anger. Of course she charged me full price for the service even though she damaged my skin and tried to get into a fight with me. I am never returning again and would suggest to stay away from this salon. I wish I could give -ve stars

I have only been here twice but have definitely found my new eyebrow place! I love the look of my brows after getting them done here and it never hurts either! I used to only do waxing because it was quick and the pain didn't last too long, but after getting my eyebrows threaded here I prefer this eyebrow salon so much more because it is painless. The customer service is amazing. I'm always treated with respect. Definitely worth the 5 stars read more

Not sure how to rate this appropriately when it was only one person, but she ripped my eyelid!!! Blamed it on me saying there was a hair under my nail...there's not hair on my eyelid for her to be threading in the first place!! Been here before didn't have an issue but this experience was terrible. Not to mention I was still required to pay!! Won't come here again purely because I wouldn't want to risk getting the same person. read more

Extremely dissatisfied with this place. I came in looking to get my brows, upper lip, and chin waxed. I asked if they do waxing, because threading is too painful for me. The lady said yes, but turns out that someone was getting waxed in the room. I had no problem waiting, but the lady insisted she clean my brows with the thread. I told her no, because it hurts. She sat me down and she didn't wash her hands. She just rinsed her fingers with the water dispenser machine. Her coworker comes out and in their native language start talking. I quickly noticed that I was going to get waxed outside and not in the room. She brought a tiny cup with wax. And it was most painful waxing I have ever gotten. Not gentle at all. She hurt the skin under my left eyebrow after yanking the cloth over and over again. And she still had to get me threaded after waxing me?! So ridiculous! After the whole experience was over I went over to pay and the other lady (I'm guessing the owner) automatically took away the tip out without my consent! It's been a few hours and the skin under my left eyebrow stings, as if I got burned. I won't plan to come here ever again! read more

$8 eyebrow threading, not too painful and she was extremely thorough. She checked the evenness of the brows multiple times. And although my eyebrows are shaped differently (brows are sisters, not twins!), I came away with them looking more even than I've ever seen them. read more

Tika is my girl! Finally found a place in Orange County. I was referred to the nail shop right next door to this establishment, to do my eyebrows (the nail shop offers waxing) Well lucky for me, I saw "threading" and took a detour into this shop instead. And boy am I happy about it! I always get compliments on my eyebrows after I come here. My brows are naturally thick and dark and Tika always makes them pop. Will always return every 2 weeks :) read more

I have been coming here for threading and waxing for over a year but will not be returning after my visit today. The girls who work here seem to rotate between locations and I prefer seeing the same girl each time so that makes it hard. At any rate, today's threading was the most painful I have ever experienced (and I've been getting threaded for over 15 years). I also specifically asked for my side burns threaded but she proceeded to do my entire face after I reminded her of side burns only. The full arm wax was also terrible as the girl missed about 40% of my arms. read more

I've been to one other threading place over in lake forest and had a great experience so I was hoping to find a good place in Costa Mesa since i moved here and I think I've found my new spot! Didn't have to wait at all and the prices are great! They kept my brows think like I wanted and they cleaned them up really nice as well as gave me a little eyebrow and lip massage with aloe Vera gel. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a threading place in Costa Mesa. read more

Excellent service, very friendly staff, and amazing results! Unfortunately I moved away from Costa Mesa, but Roop is totally worth the drive. I've been going here for months and have never had a bad experience! The wait is never longer than 5 minutes for walk-ins, which is always a plus! Needed to get my eyebrows done and my friend recommened this place.. its located in a plaza and it is pretty easy to find, for it being only $8.00 it is worth it and the lady who did mine .. She was the front counter girl as well and has glasses.. she does a very outstanding job and takes her time and makes sure your comfortable. She is very prescise and makes sure your eyebrows are clean and even.. I will be coming back again.. this time i will get her name. .. I will reccommend this place to others. read more

I happened to notice this place when stopping by for boba at Tastea next door. I looked inside and it was very clean and I figured I would try it out since I was already there. I usually go to Divas threading on Bristol in Santa Ana but after this experience, Roop is my new go-to place!!! Tika did my eye brows and it was nearly painless. I usually tear up and cry but she was so gentle I barely winced. She did a wonderful job and checked in with me to make sure I liked the shape. I will definitely come back. I saw a sign that said 5 eye brow threadings for $30. Regular price is $8 for eye brows. They also have a stamp card, 9 eye brow threadings and you get he 10th free! Awesome. read more

My brows have seriously neverrrrr looked better. I'm not from here, and I wanted to get my eyebrows done and upper lip waxed before summer ended. I usually always get my eyebrows waxed, but I came here and decided to get them threaded. The lady was very nice and did the job quickly and efficiently. The entire thing probably took 10 minutes, and cost only 14 dollars total. It's amazing, really, because it's the best job anyone has ever done for me. I recommend this place sooo much to everyone, it is definitely worth it. read more

Love this place and Tika is the sweetest. I've been going to her for over a year now and I like the fact that I can walk in and get a quick wax. I'm terrible at making appointments so I like the fact I can walk in and get it down right away. It's never easy getting waxing done but she goes easy on you and really knows what she's doing. I've tried others in that past that just rip away and I leave throbbing for hours. The set-up of the salon is clean and spacious. I used to go to Nanu down the street but I'm, so glad I can go here now. Great price on waxing and quick process if you're a person on the go. Its located in the Stater Bros plaza at the inside corner. read more

I usually never write reviews but, I just had my first threading done and it was amazing! I have always done waxing, but I wanted to try threading. I thought the service was great and friendly! In my opinion (definitely depends on your experience), I thought threading was not as painful as waxing! Besides the great service the price is around $8, which is pretty affordable and the threading itself took less than 10 minutes max! I highly recommend Tika because she was nice and knew how to give shape to my straight line eyebrows! Overall, I will be coming back to Roop! read more

I'm so happy right now! I used to go to another local threading place and I always went to Tika but she left there over a year ago and I never knew where she went. Today I randomly tried Roop based off some yelp reviews and there she was! My brow prayers have been answered! So happy to find Tika again! PS, they have a threading package where you can buy 5 for $30 making them only $6 each which of course I had to buy :) read more

She's super kind, professional, and you can tell she really cares about her clients. She's thought of everything to make it easy -- scheduling is simple, payment is smooth, and the whole experience just flows. What I love most is that she doesn't just do the service and send you off. I found Roop on Yelp. I've been to other threading places in Orange County but this is by far the best. Ask for Kamala. She does an amazing job, has a kind personality, and double-checks her work to make sure you are satisfied with your threading service. Five stars. read more
