Unfortunately the company I actually hired contracted my move to this company. The series of events wasn't completely their fault as there was a communication break down between companies. For a small one bedroom move with no appliances it took 6 hours including the 30 min drive and brief stop at a storage facility. There were two movers although only one did the actual moving while one stayed downstairs the majority of the time. The one who didn't really participate initially had a disability that made it difficult for him to do the job. There was an elevator at move out and one flight of stairs to unload. 2 pieces of furniture were damaged (you sign a waiver as this must be anticipated) However, the other gentleman worked his bottom off. My biggest complaint was the way I was treated when I asked for a receipt and because of the confusion with the companies I was met with aggression and agitation by 1 of the two movers. I was in tears. It was a horrible experience. I'm giving 3 stars because the one young kid worked his tail off and really tried to make things right at the end. read more

They got our stuff moved. Nothing was assembled (my 2 beds and 1 couch) and things I needed up stairs were left downstairs. With a new baby and all of us sick with colds that lack of heir promised service left us in a really bad situation. My husband choose them because they had so many good reviews. We moved the Friday of Labor Day weekend so perhaps hey just wanted to be done...? Thank you for your reply. I don't disagree with many of your comments. I thought I posted his review months ago and yelp let me know it was pending. I would have contacted you sooner but with the holiday and all the work we were left with plus our colds we were emotionally and physically overwhelmed. My husband (stupidly) tipped these guys pretty well, as recommended. He didn't realize how much they hadn't done until they left. I wish there was a way to make it better. I didn't say I couldn't be contacted and I'm sorry I wasn't in a position to do so at the time. I will have my husband contact you directly. Thank you for your comments here. read more

At first I was not happy with these movers. They were late and we didn't start until 7! But the two men worked really hard, they were reasonably priced and I received an extra $25 dollars off from looking at their web site! read more

This mover was recommended by our neighbor and we took the last minute opening window to schedule them. The team arrived on time early in the morning and started to work very efficiently right away. During their work, they were not only very cheerful but also very respectful to respond our needs as to how to wrap and where to load, etc. We feel our furniture were well taken care of with no worries. The team got the job done 1 hour faster than what we expected that saved us money even a PLUS PLUS!! I will definitely recommend them to anybody wants to move and will use them again in the future. This is a SUPER GOOD team. Cheers! read more

If I could give this company no stars, I would. Biggest joke ever. They didn't even re assemble any of my furniture. Every single item they moved is either now damaged, or broken. I spoke to Ahmad in regards to this matter and he could have cared less. They did absolutely nothing to compensate for their screw up. Not a refund, some money back, pay for damages, nothing!!!!! DO NOT USE them! I, a female, could have moved my belongings better than them! read more

We hired Pro Movers again in Feb 2018. Our original request was for 3 movers, but one called in sick. Pro Movers was extremely professional about it, offering us a discounted rate for the unexpected change. The movers, Joe and Frank, promised extreme efficiency and they delivered. They worked quickly, carefully, taking care of our items and were very courteous. Great service! We highly recommended Pro Movers. read more

Do not hire this company! They lost half of my furniture. I moved across the United States from Orange County to Florida. I have been asking them every week to please Find it as it was in their warehouse. Fast forward one month and they finally find it and now they will not send it to me but are deciding to sit on it for another month when it's convenient for them to send it when there are people and movers who will send it to me so instead they're holding it captive I have literally not been able to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends in my new home, It is totally absurd and their customer service is horrible!!! They say they're going to get back to you and then they don't and then another week goes by and then they don't and you have to keep reaching out to them and have the furniture that they did pack up and sent me on my moving truck was poorly packed I have furniture that is scratched I have dishes that were damaged because they put heavy furniture on top of boxes that are light and fragile!!! I am now having to file complaints and contact the authorities because they will not relinquish my private property but instead or sitting on it and keeping it in their warehouse. read more

cody & marco's helped us move this morning! best moving company best service these guys are awesome, on time & worked hard. thanks guys appreciate all ur help read more

I called Alan Jay Super Bowl Sunday for a move at the end of the week. He quoted me $60 an hour for two movers and a truck, and confirmed my reservation. Alan was very professional and was prompt in his communication. On the day of the move, James and Ivan kept in constant contact and were very quick to load and unload, moving from Costa Mesa to Orange. The one hiccup was when it came time to move my bed frame. They attempted to move the bed frame whole, but when it didn't fit, they tried moving it down the stairs. It didn't fit there either, and they ended up having to disassemble it. If not for that, the 5 hour move would likely have been closer to 4 hours, but they did a very good job nonetheless. James and Ivan of Pro Movers were very courteous, professional, and organized during my move and I would definitely use again if moving in the area. read more

Eric and Gerson were very quick and efficient. Nice guys and covered all important furniture in blankets and shrink wrap to keep them safe. Great option for movers just maybe a little on the expensive side. Around 3 hours with tip came to $500 read more

One of the best parts of the whole experience was the Pro-movers website. I loved that they had everything available to review online and they backed up the online communication with texts and emails when needed. It was extremely convenient. Jose Duran and Martin called ahead and showed up within the expected window. And They. Worked. Hard. They prioritized my garage freezer as I asked and had it moved in 5 minutes. Our "from" home is on the second floor and our "to" home has two stories. They hustled up and down the stairs SO many times and were cheerful and pleasant, moving every box I asked them to and following the numbering system I set up for my boxes. I will certainly be calling them back. read more

I had Pro Movers move my furniture on December 14, 2019. Tanoise Robinson & Marvin Greer showed up promptly and ready to work. They are professionals. They made an initial stop to a storage unit to pick up a washer & dryer. They made the move fun. They are very efficient. At the end of the move they took a patio set left by the seller to another location. I would use Prove Movers Again! read more

The company was very responsive via Yelp chat. The rates are reasonable. My two movers were on time, and they worked hard. I was concern with some logistical challenges at the destination, but they were patient and flexible with switching up the plans last minute. If you can, schedule your move mid-week to save some $$$. read more

I would definitely recommend Pro Movers Inc. to my friends and family. Joe, Payden and Jesse were very efficient and professional. Overall a great moving experience. read more

We used Pro Movers recently and Dominic, Dave, and Juan were a great team. They moved all of our things so well and truly cared for the condition of everything. They made sure to get everything we needed packed and returned to our new place which was on the 3rd floor of a building with no elevator! They went out of the way to make our experience great. They also had great communication and updated us on when they would arrive to start the move. I would fully recommend them to anyone! We will definitely use this company in the future!! read more

They were awesome, Marcos and Moses had my whole POD unloaded in under 2 hours!! It was super easy.

I used Pro Movers today to move out of my 4th story apartment. Joe and Kevin were on time, communicated well with the expectations, and best of all they were reasonably priced. I would recommend their services. read more

Kristopher, Kevin and Blake made the move easy. They were scheduled for a 3 hour move. After assessing how much furniture I had to move it was clear that this would be a longer job. Add that to the summertime heat and 2nd story stairs and it was a pretty hefty undertaking. These guys managed to fill the truck to capacity and have me unloaded in 3 hours!!! Fun guys, great attitudes. Would use again and definitely recommend. Oh...and they were super nice to my puppy read more

Cameron and Erasmo came to help me unload into my new second floor apartment and did it in no time flat, including getting my washing machine up the stairs. I called and requested them super last minute so I'm glad they got it all unloaded for me with less than 24 hrs notice because I was super tired! Such nice guys and easy going. Highly recommend giving them a call! read more

Not sure about the other crews but the crew that handled our move was like watching the A-Team in action. "Dennis" was the lead, and he had two good helpers. I was nervous they would damage some high end furniture and/or the hardwood staircase, but they worked with precision. Impressive to watch such professionals. read more

Just moved today in Long Beach and this moving team is amazing. Had three men come on top ready to work. Poor guys had to maneuver up and down three flights of stairs. Without them I don't know how I would have gotten my furniture to my new place. Clean, professional, truck included and provided additional boxes. Will hire again. read more

I cannot say enough about the great job Pro Movers did. Although we moved on 10/28/17 I'm just now getting around to writing this review. They were on time, professional, efficient, careful and very pleasant to work with. Very friendly and hard working. We are impressed and will recommend them to anyone planning a move. We've shared the company name and phone number with our realtor who will pass along the information to her clients. Great job, guys!! read more

Great work by Dennis, Payden, and Matt. Very efficient and professional. They handled our items with care and consideration. Overall, it was smooth move and we would gladly use this crew again in the future. read more

I had used Pro Movers Inc for my moving on March 22nd, 2013. I was charged $60 an hour for 2 guys, that's the Price for Fri, Sat & Sun and if i had done during the weekdays, it would had been $55 an hour. I moved from 1 unit to another in the same Apartments Bldg A to Bldg B. They moved everything i had asked for in 3.5 Hrs, and were pretty good. The guys i worked with were James & James. And i had done my reservation with Alan, who was courteous as well. Overall i am very satisfied with the service!!! Thanks! read more

Davin and Abat were very professional, friendly, and helpful with each stage of the move. We didn't know we were supposed to request boxes if we were going to require those at the time, so they found a way to make what they had on hand work for us. They were very efficient and quick- no time wasted, which we always appreciate, especially when we're paying by the hour. Great service, and decent prices. There might be cheaper options out there, but I would rather pay a bit more for a company that is trustworthy and treats its clients like people. Will use again, if needed in the future! read more

Pro Movers was wonderful! Dave and Chris were both masters with the advanced two-wheel, tank-treaded dolly. They did in one hour what would have taken me half a day. Our large desk that was very difficult for the Macy's movers to maneuver around, these made look very simple. Very nice, courteous and professional. I would recommend Pro Movers to anyone that needs a quick, easy, and affordable move. read more

My husband and I were so impressed with Pro Movers - Cameron, Dylan, Edgar and Chris P. They were quick, strong, and had great attitudes. Being around pleasant people on a stressful moving day makes everything so much better! Joe and Kevin did an awesome job moving my parents home. There were many siblings giving them various different directions and they performed the moving with a smile and they never complained. Since we could not make up our minds we had them move the furniture to many different locations in the new home, plus in Palm Springs heat, again no complaints. They packed up the garage beautifully to make sure that we had space for a car. They did a fantastic job and we would definitely use them again and we would definitely give them a high recommendation. Five stars +! Thank you Joe and Kevin for a job well done! read more

Cameron and Fred are very friendly and hardworking. They are professionals and know what they can do to make the the move easier and more efficient. They explained everything prior to getting the work done so I don't have wrong expectations This is my first time to move and they made it more stress-free for me. Will definitely use pro movers again. read more

David and Juan were amazing! They were timely, efficient, careful, respectful and fast! I didn't have much to move but they were able to move all of my big furniture (that me and my friends carried up stairs to get in) into the super small elevator like the pros they are! They helped me move over other items and also got everything in my new apartment exactly where I wanted it to go. I always have to be helping and they were nice and reassured me that it was okay I could just sit and relax. We had good conversations while they were moving. Both men were extremely nice. I would recommend this moving company and if I ever move again I'll be calling them!! read more

I called Pro Movers on a Monday to ask for help with a move on Thursday of the same week. They were able to accommodate my last minute request. They movers called the day of the move, they were on time and I had two great guys to help, Joe & Jessy. They were polite, professional, and went above & beyond to make my move easy. They set up my bed, couch, tv, rugs... they even took a bunch of trash to dumpster for me. All this service at a very reasonable price. Meant to post this right after my move, but my computer was still in boxes until yesterday. First of all, everyone hates moving. If you love it, then you sir or madame might be a masochist. I think most of the dislike of moving is rooted in the stress that it can cause. I will tell you that the folks at Pro Movers made my move very smooth and stress free. I found them here on Yelp, called for a quote and they set me up right away with a date and an arrival window. About a week before they called to remind me, as well on the day before (along with the name of the driver). In the morning they called me to let me know that they were on the way. Dave and Dave arrived on time and got to work right away. I estimated that if I and my friends were to move my stuff out of the townhouse, we would take about 2.5 to 3 hours. So I judged them by that measure (might be unfair because me and my friends might have actually taken longer). They got it done in 2.5 hours with no incidents. They were very careful and in a couple cases they had to remove legs on a sofa, a latch on the side gate (because the fridge was too big to move through the front door), and a few blanket and tape jobs on furniture and electronics. I had done some but they wrapped and protected the larger items I missed (all included). I went on to my new place ahead of them while they took a quick lunch and they were there very quickly. The unload was even faster and they were very polite and asked where each box or item should go in the new place. I wish they could have helped me unpack my boxes as well because they were good. Dave the driver was very experienced and a really nice guy. Dave number two was great as well and very courteous and polite. I really don't know how they do it day in and day out, but I am glad that they were there. Now for some tips to help you save time and help the movers out. -I think we all believe we have less stuff than we really do. When I called Pro Movers I estimated less boxes than what was reality. I think 25% more than what you think you have is a good rule of thumb. At least in my case. -Wrap lot of your items ahead of time. Have your artwork wrapped in stuff you can get at the local Home Depot like picture bags, heavy duty packing paper, stretch film wrap. Also wrap or box up your big screen TV if you can. There are many tips out there and I recommend you check them out at places like Home Depot web site and by a Google search. It will make it less frustrating on moving day for all. In summary, I would give high marks to these guys and I will definitely use them again. read more

I never usually write Yelp reviews as I'm usually not sure what to say, however I'm choosing to take the time to write this one as Joe and Kevin made our moving experience fast, efficient and painless. They arrived on time and got straight to work, making our whole moving experience way less stressful than it usually is. Our house was most likely not the funniest job the guys have had as we have several heavy pieces, but they took everything in stride and had a pleasant demeanor throughout the entire time we spent with them. Compared to our previous movers we had hired to help us move in the past, Pro movers helped make it a much more time efficient and pleasant experience. We'll definitely be reaching out again the next time we look to move. read more

Our movers were James, Sean and Cody. They arrived on time, worked hard and did a good job. We had only minor damage to a couple of things (broken knob on a washer, easily replaced, and some scratches on doorways getting larger furniture into tight openings) which we repaired. They got almost our entire house into the truck, which was a feat! We did a fair amount of comparison research and spoke with John prior to hiring Pro Movers. We felt this was the best company for us, because we haven't moved for 25 years and wanted a company with the proper licenses and insurance. I was a little startled that the crew was right out there about asking for tips and food, but considering what these guys make and the tough work they do, I played it off and we rolled into the day. Bottom line, we would call the company again. read more

I've used many moving companies over the years, but my experience with Cam and Matt was by far the best. I was actually bummed when it was all over because I had such a good time hanging out and moving. Cam and Matt were efficient, hardworking, and ensured my belongings were protected from door to door. Moving a sectional, 2 dining tables, and a master bedroom out of a 3 level condo with nothing but stairs is no joke. Cam and Matt truly proved themselves today to be STAIRMASTERS!!!! I have nothing but the utmost respect for these guys. My experience from phone call to the last box was nothing short of fantastic. Thanks again guys. I'll see you on the next move and will undoubtably pass your info along. Glad to see good honest people still exist. Thank you for backing the blue too. #merica #freedom #movers ‍ read more
