I was clear what needed to be done--I wanted it tuned up. His response was thoughtful--people come in with $1500 bikes with $3000 worth of problems and if it doesn't make sense to spend the money on a tune up because the transmission is going; it's a prescription for people feeling bad. He did a thorough diagnostic work up, and then went ahead and did a tune up. I've ridden /5s most of my riding life (50 years) and have always worked on them myself. When Lawrence was done, it ran better than I can ever remember a /5 running. Furthermore, he communicates clearly and takes time to thoroughly explain everything that he has done and what I might consider doing in the future. Beautiful work and a worthwhile investment.
