I had an absolutely terrible experience with this moving company. They didn't even pack my jewelry properly, which is how it was lost. When I brought this to the owner's attention, he became argumentative and disrespectful instead of taking accountability. His only solution was to "come fix things," rather than refunding me for the damage and loss his company caused. When I returned to my old house after the move, I found that they left behind numerous items, including pots and pans, my robot vacuum, and all of my cleaning products under the sink. My adjustable bed no longer works because of how carelessly they handled it. I paid this company thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to have them do a terrible job, leave things behind, and break and lose my personal belongings. For the amount I paid, I expected professionalism, care, and responsibility -- and received none of that. I was referred to this company by a personal friend of the owners, which makes this experience even more disappointing. EZ Haul's owner handled the estimate which was competive with another well-known local mover but we gave the job to them because of the personal connection & sincerity of the owner. Two days before the move (as scheduled) two of his crew arrived to disassemble some large furniture pieces which they did quickly & efficiently. On moving day the driver texted us 10 minutes before arrival shortly after 8am. Driver & crew were all bright, friendly & competent as they surveyed the job before them. They loaded efficiently and carefully. After 4 1/2 hours of loading, the crew left for the 120 mile trip to the new house. I calculated a miracle arrival would be 4:30; they arrived at 4:40. 2 1/2 hours later they were done unloading. Elapsed time for the day including travel was 11 hours. When I noticed a few boxes (out of many) were in wrong rooms, two of the four crew literally jumped up to move them & (needlessly) apologized. The four crew members worked seamlessly and pleasantly together. I heard no cross words or disrespect between any of them all day. This is clearly a team that works together regularly--not some ad hoc crew thrown together the morning of the job. I recommend EZ Haul 100% and without any hesitation and will be using them again.

By a stroke of great fortune, we were referred to Jack Quigley and Fraioli & Quigley. Jack met with us in advance, came up with a game plan, and was there the next day with his crew and had the job done in no time. My sister, in charge of the move, reported back to us (after we others had to leave to return to Austin): "Always on top of things, in frequent communication, efficient, calm, thorough, clean, careful. His crew were all the same. I was putting away kitchen stuff and every time a guy walked past me, he'd pick up whatever paper I'd dropped since the last sweep. And he was genuinely nice and caring: helped [our elderly relative] out to the car, for instance. [The woman who referred him to us] told us that he once drove out to the boonies of NJ to bring a woman who had no family to [the same assisted living facility in Westchester]." I can't express what a relief it is to have someone do a job for you with such efficiency and professionalism that you can turn your attention to the other 200 tasks at hand in managing a transition like this. I would give them 4.5 stars, but that's not an option in the ratings…read more I used this company 5 times in the past 6 mos...my wife and I each moved from our apartments, we moved out of our apartment and into storage (which they offer at a great deal), and then finally again to our new place. These guys are professional movers. Their job is to pick something up, wrap the bejesus out of it with a roll of tape (even if it's just a tea cup mind you), and then load it up, unload and unwrap. They move quickly, they don't talk, and they just execute the job. That's why they're called movers. Now for the finer details: are they gently with the boxes? As with all movers, this is a hit or miss. They don't drop boxes, but they do assume you packaged them carefully. Your extremely fragile items I would leave for you to move yourself - doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. They handled my LCD TV no problem, wrapping it in blanket and cardboard to protect screen. When they disassembled my bed and moved the long posts, they were careful not to bang into walls. They were considerate with our lamps as well. Another reviewer mentioned they tracked dirt into her apartment. Give these guys a break - they are there to move and then move FAST. They not gonna wipe their feet every time they enter your place. You're SOL if it rains and you live in a cattle ranch with any mover!!! Garnett was my point man when it cAme to scheduling with them. Professional, explained everything in detail including charges and breakdown (by hour and minimum). Let's be honest here...we all tend to underestimate the move when we tell them what we actually have. They are on a right schedule and need to coordinate with other moves for the day. So be honest with how much garbage you want them to lug around. You're not saving yourself a dime when you not honest. Garnett went above and beyond for me when I needed to get my stuff out of their storage and into my new place (with two days notice)!!! I will always appreciate that and I can say everything was inventoried properly and returned without a problem!!!! Can't complain about that. I must comment that there was this one mover, a large guy who literally looked like Stelio Kontos from the cartoon American Dad. He must have been 6'6" or something. Real pleasant guy,very friendly and nice. He needed to use the bathroom so I let him - must have splashed urine all over the place. The residue smelled strong of uric acid/nitrogen by-products. Would really lead me to believe this guy needs to get his kidneys checked out...unless he's snacking on plant fertilizer between moves! You need a mover? These guys will get the job done....and they're reasonably priced!! They need to make a living too - give them a break cheapo!!!

They offer storage which I wasn't sure if I needed, but I liked having the option available. During the actual move, Ron wasn't there. I found the people working to be a bit slow. I tried to speed things up by moving lighter things closer to the door and asking questions. At one point one person complained about the number of boxes and made me feel uncomfortable. In the end, the move was completed in the estimated amount of time and cost and nothing was damaged.
