They were incredibly professional, careful, efficient, and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail when packing and protecting our belongings. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was packed extremely well, with all the corners properly covered and protected. They handled some of our largest and most important furniture--including our king-size bed, mattress, refrigerator, dresser, and other furniture--with an incredible amount of care. Nothing felt rushed or careless. They took the time to make sure everything was properly wrapped, protected, and secured before loading it. Edgar and Ramon were genuinely exceptional. Moving can be stressful, but having a team that you can completely trust with your belongings makes such a huge difference. Their professionalism, care, and attention to detail gave us tremendous peace of mind. I would 100% recommend Edgar, Ramon, and Roadway Moving to anyone looking for a moving company. If you have the opportunity to have Edgar and Ramon handle your move, you're in great hands! After talking to them, I knew I wanted to go with them. Their customer service, attention to details, and organization are 5-star levels. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

From the beginning, my experience was great. Speaking with Jelena, who arranged everything flawlessly and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns that I had prior to my move. Then Edwin and his crew showed up and quickly and carefully picked up all my things. They took exceptional care to protect all of my possessions, especially a few delicate pieces that I requested be handled with care. They were courteous and professional at all times. I want to say that going into this move I did not expect such exceptional service. I've moved a few times and it has not always been the best experience. That being said, Octomovers really delivered amazing service and I was really pleased. If I have to move again, I am definitely calling Octomovers to move me. This has been such a pleasant experience for something as stressful as moving. My wife and I want to say "THANK YOU" to everyone that helped make our move a success.

This was my first time hiring movers and J & G Moving exceeded my expectations! The move went so…read moresmoothly that I highly recommend them. I price-compared a ton of NYC moving companies and J & G gave me a competitive moving quote. Additionally, the building I was moving into required a certificate of insurance (COI) and J & G was able to offer it for me for free. A lot of other companies charge for this. Before moving, I communicated with them via email and they always responded promptly and were very clear about what their moving package included. The day of the move, they called and asked if it was okay if they came an hour early. They were very communicative with me during the whole move. The lead guy (forgot his name!) assessed how many things I had and then discussed with the other 2 men on how to efficiently approach the move. The 3 men were over 6' tall and strong, and they were able to finish my whole move in a little more than 1 hr! I did not have anything that was easily breakable but the men treated my things with care. They provided blanket and shrink wrapping for all of my furniture. Everything was loaded up into their truck very quickly. These guys wasted no time. When I arrived at my new apartment building, they had already started unloading my things. I had my boxes labeled with what was inside (i.e., kitchen supplies, shoes, jackets) and they actually placed each box in the corresponding room. Best of all, there were no hidden fees. They ended up not charging me a processing fee that was included in the quote and gave me $40 off my quoted price. The movers were so friendly, communicative and professional, I will definitely be using J & G Moving again! I also wanted to note that on the day of my move, the street I was moving from was blocked due to construction. J & G movers did not complain or make any mention of that until I had stepped outside of my apartment building and noticed it. These guys provide excellent customer service and I was very impressed by them.

Based on my estimates of the time the job would take, they were much cheaper than any of the 5 other companies we got quotes from. In the end though, the job did take longer than expected. They used three employees and a large truck. They provided blankets, plastic wrap, and tape to properly protect all items for transport. If they noticed any preexisting damage on the furniture, they notified us promptly so we were aware. Initially, they worked quite efficiently, but began to slow down during the second half of pick-up. What I thought would take about 4 hours ended up being a 6 hour job, including a 45 minute drive to the new place. They still came in cheaper than the next best quote we were considering, but not by much. When they finished the move, they left a mountain of tape, plastic, and cardboard, which they supplied, in our hallway. We thought they would clean it up before leaving, but we were left with that task, which was disappointing. They require a $50 + tax deposit to reserve a move. You pay the balance after all the work is done. They offer a discount if you pay in cash. Overall, they were professional and moving is grueling work so I have no major complaints, other than the debris they left behind. But be mindful that the time-based quote may add up, so be prepared to spend more than you might anticipate.

They scheduled a zoom/facetime walk-thru of my apartment to see what I needed and to give me a better quote. I had started packing already and got all my own boxes so it was easy to see what I had left. What I really liked was the 'no BS' hidden fees. It was one price that wouldn't change, no matter the hours or added last minute box. Of course my move was scheduled and it had to snow. Thankfully this didn't stop them. 4 guys showed up right on time (during a snow storm on a friday morning rush hour in the city). They walked thru and got a game plan, then brought up all the blankets and plastic wrap and got to work. TVs were dismounted and put in boxes, mattresses were put in boxes as well. The amount of blankets they used to wrap my furniture made me so happy. While they took their time, they were still hustling - running from the truck to the apartment. Once we got to my new place, they covered my stairs with runners and wore plastic booties to ensure my floors weren't messed up. I wish I had bought the wall mount for my TVs for my new place, because they offered to set me up. The only thing I was disappointed about was that my couch didn't fit thru the garage entry so it was left in the garage. I wish they had tried thru the front door but they were adamant that it still wouldn't fit. After 7 hours, I wasn't going to push them. Regardless, would 100% recommend Veterans Movers and also hope Roadway doesn't ruin this small-business. I wish I could remember the 4 guys that helped me move to give them a shoutout! Thx!!!
