My pickup was attacked by an evil orange Corvette on 130. He passed and kicked a rock onto the windshield. Yuck! Had to get it fixed before it ran across the windshield. Next day I called Pro Auto Glass, "no waiting come on in." The repair took 20 minutes max. I was cautioned that the repair was "structural, not cosmetic". First time I visited Pro Glass was a year ago, when I received a rock chip just under the size of a quarter. They were able to fix the star from spreading. I was a walk-in and they got it handled in 20 minutes. Second time I visited Pro Glass was three days ago. I stopped by to get an appointment for entire replacement of windshield, because I had a crack from rock chip that blocked my view completely across the windshield. Cannot say enough about their great customer service. My wife had to drop off her car to get the windshield replaced and due to traffic didn't arrive while they were open. She was prepared to just drop her car, but instead a young lady that was working late opened up just to put her car inside for the night, going way beyond good customer service. They also had to work with Subaru to disconnect the navigation system in order to replace the window, they did it all and did a great job. I was driving down a road and a nearby weed whacker at a business was trimming his property. I heard a "pop", got out, didn't see anything at first, then saw the tinted rear quarter window had spiderweb cracks throughout it. After I was able to explain to nursery what happened and them offering to cut me a check, I called Pro Auto Glass because we used them before to replace my wife's vehicle windshield last year from a crack. Anyway, they came to my house, met Dusty, and he replaced it within 30 minutes. He cleaned up whatever mess he made and explained there might be tiny pieces of glass he missed, and I said that was all right. I was able to find the two or three remaining microscopic pieces and vacuum those up, no problem. It's impossible to get 100% of all the glass the first time around (based on my own experiences sweeping and vacuuming glass)! ;) Anyway, the window looks like it was never replaced! It's even a tinted factory window, with the same make name on it like the original window! Looks exactly the same and sounds the same (no wind noise) as the original window, like it never happened! He mentioned the lifetime warranty and I should never have issues with it since it's fastened, etc. Before he left, I had a separate question for him about an existing chip that was already in the windshield when I bought car at dealer, and he said that was a perfect "weld", smooth and 90 percent of them aren't, but mine was a good fix, and the fix is actually the strongest part of the window, etc. He said to call them if I ever had any issues with windshield to replace it. I was very impressed! Dusty is a pro, and knows his stuff, while educating me about the glass physics. ;) Hoping I won't need to, but should I get another chip, crack, etc., in my window(s), I will definitely use them again, and ask for Dusty! Safelite wouldn't replace my slightly cracked windshield because it had some rust under the edge. They said I'd need to take it to a body shop and have the body rust removed and repaired. I said I couldn't spend $2k on repairs for a car that was only worth about $4k. After some talking they said Pro Glass might be able to fix it. I called Pro Glass and explained the situation. They were able to grind off the rust, re-prime it, and replace the windshield for $350. Their office is very nice and their employees are professional. I recommend them. read more

Well from time to time the bad happens. A stone flies up into your windshield and your get the start of what could become a very stressful repair.WeI've seen the nice commercials on TV for the best place to get your glass replaced at the top dog let say Brand X. It makes you want to run blindly since it is on TV it must be true. I did a little reading on this top dog Brand X and couldn't find any good reviews. I also spent time thinking that the dealer would do a better job so I should get a quote from them also. The dealer needed to reach out to the person that they call on site to see what the cost would be. So after another day I stumbled on to Pro Auto Glass out in Georgetown. I did the little on line get an instant quote and it didn't get me a response. So I took it up one level and called the shop thinking I would hear all the stories I'd just finished reading about Brand X in person. To my surprise here is what I got.on my two calls. Two different women answered my calls and both were very knowledgeable about asking the correct questions. I received my quote and was ready to schedule when I asked one last question. Do you give a discount for military personal? To my surprise I was told yes. This was more great news as I was already heading to their shop in Georgetown to have the windshield replaced based on the first quote I received. Now I was going to get a discount for being a military veteran. So I'll promote them on this fact alone. If you are a veteran or active duty bring your car or truck to Pro Auto Glass in Georgetown. The shop was clean and everyone I spoke with was very courteous and worked as a team.. Our vehicle was done in one hour. All decals were somehow transferred over to the new window. When the bill was set in front of me it was just as quoted. I didn't get to meet the person that did the work but again I think they are a team and even have a mascot named Duke. Duke likes to check out the customers and weed out the bad ones. So today I am 100% Pro Auto Glass! I'll leave room for any updates after we drive it and run it through the car wash this weekend. Jeep Wranglers are known for front windshield cracks from stray rocks on the freeway; ours was no exception. The rock made a circular crack that could not be fixed and the entire windshield had to be replaced to pass inspection. Brandon from Pro Auto Glass did a fantastic job replacing the windshield. He was fast and took special care making sure the sealant was put on cleanly and evenly with no mess. He was done far quicker than I would have thought and the price is the best in the area. Dusty & Josh [I may have his name wrong] showed up on time at my home for the installation. They were both very engaging and instructive on what they would be doing. They showed me the replacement glass that was to be used and that they could save my TX license sticker and my TxTag sticker. Installation was less than a hour. I had Pro Glass replace the back window on my Expedition. They were quick and efficient. I tested the glass with some water and saw that it leaked, although I could not see any damage. I called the next day and they had me come in immediately. They tested it and saw that it leaked. They did not hesitate to replace with a new glass.
