The initial quote included mounting, which seemed like a good value. However, I was disappointed with the quality of work completed. When he arrived, he simply said he would call when finished, so I went upstairs to let him work. After he was done, he claimed the trims were already damaged - but I have photos proving they weren't damaged beforehand. I shared photos of the completed work with other companies for reference, and multiple professionals told me the job wasn't actually finished properly. Most concerning was that my molding trim was left in poor condition - definitely not the quality result I expected. Proper trim installation is essential for windshield replacement, otherwise water will leak through. I've seen examples of this company's previous work for other customers that was much better quality than what I received, which makes this experience particularly frustrating. There was no clear communication throughout the process. He blamed sun damage for the trim issues, but removing the glass actually made the damage worse. To top it off, he left the window inside the car dirty. While Legacy Auto does offer affordable pricing, in my case the work was incomplete and not up to the standards I would expect. The value wasn't there when the job wasn't done correctly the first time. I'd recommend getting multiple opinions and being very specific about expectations before committing to any work. If I knew this would happen I would have pay more for another company to do it. Very upset because now the repair will cost more.

Andres came out next day on my schedule, called in route to confirm time, installed a quality windshield at a competitive value. The original windshield had never been out and took almost 2 hours just to remove it. He worked tirelessly, did not complain once and gave me time to clean up the top of my dash and even touch up some paint. Could not be happier and could not imagine using anyone else for the quality job he delivered. Small business, has the tools, delivers and easy to work with .

Ed will come to your location and change your glass and give your keys back to you. You don't lose any time at all. Next is, Ed is very quick in scheduling, procuring and replacing windows. In my experience he was able to do it next morning, which was pretty surprising as I engaged my insurance in the afternoon anyway. Last and most important is Ed goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. My insurance didn't tell me I was eligible for an OEM window replacement, and sent Ed an order to install aftermarket windshield. Ed did this replacement but when I realized my insurance covered OEM also, I was a bit bummed because I didn't want the aftermarket glass. When I told Ed this, he replaced my aftermarket window again with an OEM glass at no extra charge. The aftermarket/OEM deal was a learning for me as this was my first time replacing a windshield, but Ed's approach on making his customer happy is the more important learning here for me. I'm someone who doesn't post reviews online frequently, but I'll make sure to review Texas Prime Auto Glass anywhere I have an account, because I think great businesses like this should be well known!

I caught a rock on my windshield on my way to Houston and a friend who lives in Austin (where I…read morealso live) recommended Texas Prime Auto Glass to me. I contacted Ed through his website form and he emailed back at 8:30pm on a Friday night offering to come see to the chip the next day. When I told him I was in Houston, and sent him a picture of the chipped windshield, I asked him for his expert opinion: if I should get the service done while in Houston so that I didn't put extra pressure on the windshield driving at highway speeds back to Austin. He suggested I do so. So even though I didn't use his services (I will contact someone where I am locally), I have to sing praises for Ed and his excellent service. I offered to pay him for the consultation but he refused. What a great guy. I'm sure if I got my chip checked out by him I would've had a 5-star rating like everyone else here too. I'll definitely keep his info handy for referrals.
