**A+ Professionalism and Service** When I got a rock chip in my windshield during a recent road trip, I came home and searched online for a local repair company. I chose Austin Windshields because of their outstanding reviews, and they definitely lived up to them. I was pleasantly surprised when the owner, Jas Hudson, answered the phone himself. He was friendly, gave me a clear quote of $130, and was able to schedule me for the very same day. A short while later, the technician, Ryan, called to let me know he'd be arriving in about 30 minutes. He showed up exactly when he said he would, was professional and courteous, and completed the repair efficiently. The windshield looks great, and I'm very pleased with the result. What impressed me most was the excellent communication from start to finish. Everyone did exactly what they said they would do, and the entire process was easy and stress-free. I highly recommend Austin Windshields and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

Picked up a rock chip on a drive to Dallas on our BMW. Called Austin Windshields the day after we got back from our trip and they were very accommodating and helpful (explaining over the phone how everything was going to go). A technician came out to our home that same day and fixed up the chip within 20 minutes without any complications. Price is very reasonable and we paid via credit card over the phone. Both the customer service rep over the phone and the technician who did the repair were pleasant and easy to talk to as well as being clear and articulate through the process. read more

This is the place to go for a fast easy professional car window replacement in this area of town. The company is a breeze to work with, the technician came and explained everything he was going to do. I left him alone with my car for an hour and it was done professionally and you can't even tell I was missing a window an hour ago. Highly recommend read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I had this company come out to seal a tiny chip in my windshield I had gotten on the way to work the same morning. They completely botched the repair and ended up cracking my windshield that has now grown to go almost across the length of my windshield. When I called the owner to discuss, he was extremely rude and unapologetic. Sexist, too. He asked how much my insurance deductible was and when I told him $500, he offered me a "Sweetheart deal." $600 to replace my windshield (claiming that is at cost for them). Would he have offered a "Sweetheart deal" to me if I were a man? Doubt it. Probably would have treated me with respect rather than being a complete asshole. He told me "You are lucky we're not charging you a trip fee. Do you think we owe you a windshield? (Laughs)" THIS COMPANY HAD SO MANY BAD REVIEWS THEY HAD TO CHANGE THEIR NAME. read more

Austin Windshield was incredible to work with! We submitted our claim after hours on a Thursday night and they called us first thing Friday morning at 8:05 to get everything scheduled. The person who booked the appointment was friendly, helpful and really made the process feel effortless. They originally told us Monday would be the sure date they could come out but that they would try to fit us in on Friday. Not only did they try, they succeeded! They came out the same day! Our technician, Alonzo, was fantastic! Professional, kind, and clearly skilled at what he does. He replaced our Jeep Wrangler windshield quickly and the quality of the work was outstanding. The entire experience was fast, easy, and truly above and beyond. Highly recommend Austin Windshield. If you need glass work done, call them. You will be glad you did! read more

I had a rock hit my windshield Sunday evening and leave a mark and by Monday morning it was an 18-inch crack. My insurance company gave me Austin Windshields' number yesterday and I called this morning. They showed up by 10am and it was replaced by 11:30. Excellent work, very friendly dispatcher on the phone and friendly technician who came to my house, and fast turn around. I would call them again and recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Stellar work. Long story short, I had previously been scheduled with another company who was becoming more and more disorganized. I called these folks just before noon and was told to expect a follow up call shortly. They were here at my office just after 2 PM and done in about 20 minutes. The work was done correctly and the rock chip is barely visible now. They're on the high side of the price range for a rock chip repair, BUT you get excellent service and none of the hassle of that certain nationwide chain that every car insurer refers everyone to. Local. Excellent service. Superior workmanship. What's not to give five stars for? read more

The team did a great job. Was very responsive and communicative. That's what I appreciate the most was text and phone calls. They just kept me up to speed. Would have been easier if just one person, but really who cares they know how to pick up a phone. They worked with my insurance and came to my house. Work was done maybe in 1.5 hours top. They worked with me on schedule around the crazy weather. Ran into a bit of snafu with wrong class size, but they were super apologetic and ended up getting it done same day anyway. Most importantly they communicated and kept me up to date on it. Would recommend for sure. read more

Austin Windshields replaced the windshield on my Subaru Forester last week. I got an appointment within 4 days of calling. They seamlessly worked with my insurance company. The tech arrived on time and finished the installation sooner than he estimated. About 10 minutes later another technician arrived to recalibrate the EyeSight feature which took much less than an hour. The windshield looks great, no more crack. And registration, oil and toll road stickers are back in their usual places. read more
