He told me that he cannot completely make it clear before working and I saw the result and it was as similar to what I saw before fixing. The chipping on my windshield is a quite old one but now at least shielded from growing. I got to see that there's limitation for the oldness of chipping. We waited n he car until our vehicle was in queue and taken to the workspace. The waiting area was clean and had a coffeemaker but no cups and had to flll a water pitcher in the communal bathroom. The process with recalibration took several hours. Man people were though quickly since they didn't have full windshields being replaced, staff were very peasant and responsive both in person and on the phone. No issues with control systems so doing another recalibration hasn't been needed.

When he arrived, he simply said he would call when finished, so I went upstairs to let him work. After he was done, he claimed the trims were already damaged - but I have photos proving they weren't damaged beforehand. I shared photos of the completed work with other companies for reference, and multiple professionals told me the job wasn't actually finished properly. Most concerning was that my molding trim was left in poor condition - definitely not the quality result I expected. Proper trim installation is essential for windshield replacement, otherwise water will leak through. I've seen examples of this company's previous work for other customers that was much better quality than what I received, which makes this experience particularly frustrating. There was no clear communication throughout the process. He blamed sun damage for the trim issues, but removing the glass actually made the damage worse. To top it off, he left the window inside the car dirty. While Legacy Auto does offer affordable pricing, in my case the work was incomplete and not up to the standards I would expect. The value wasn't there when the job wasn't done correctly the first time. I'd recommend getting multiple opinions and being very specific about expectations before committing to any work. If I knew this would happen I would have pay more for another company to do it. Very upset because now the repair will cost more.
