Their manager assured that the window they had ordered met "all manufacturer standards". Word for word from Helen, the manager over there. Come to find out following the replacement that the glass is not even the correct size for the vehicle! There is NO WAY that an incorrectly sized window "meets all manufacturer specifications" for my car, and the vehicle is still exposed to both wind noise and weather elements. When I notified them of this, they acknowledged that they made a mistake but told me that because they gave me a discounted price they cannot do anything about this. I did not receive what I paid for, and their refusal to work with me or make this right is unacceptable. Completely agree with the other negative reviews, they leave you no choice but to contact BBB and attempt to take legal action over something as simple as replacing a window. Will update this review if the business shows any sign of making this right.

Ed will come to your location and change your glass and give your keys back to you. You don't lose any time at all. Next is, Ed is very quick in scheduling, procuring and replacing windows. In my experience he was able to do it next morning, which was pretty surprising as I engaged my insurance in the afternoon anyway. Last and most important is Ed goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. My insurance didn't tell me I was eligible for an OEM window replacement, and sent Ed an order to install aftermarket windshield. Ed did this replacement but when I realized my insurance covered OEM also, I was a bit bummed because I didn't want the aftermarket glass. When I told Ed this, he replaced my aftermarket window again with an OEM glass at no extra charge. The aftermarket/OEM deal was a learning for me as this was my first time replacing a windshield, but Ed's approach on making his customer happy is the more important learning here for me. I'm someone who doesn't post reviews online frequently, but I'll make sure to review Texas Prime Auto Glass anywhere I have an account, because I think great businesses like this should be well known!

When I told him I was in Houston, and sent him a picture of the chipped windshield, I asked him for his expert opinion: if I should get the service done while in Houston so that I didn't put extra pressure on the windshield driving at highway speeds back to Austin. He suggested I do so. So even though I didn't use his services (I will contact someone where I am locally), I have to sing praises for Ed and his excellent service. The recent cold has been shocking the spread of this crack, and with vehicles getting smarter and smarter these days, meaning a simple new windshield, requires camera recalibration to the glass being installed and what not. I called the Subaru dealership in Austin, since I wanted OEM parts, but since I was also going thru insurance with Geico, they said they wouldn't approve dealership prices with market rate payments associated to fixes of windshield repair. I found Pro Glass from local word of mouth, and they were so friendly, quick to get the invoice and claim thru to walk me thru the process of working with insurance and get me in the books with me explaining I wanted OEM glass installed since I imagine having the added extended warranty means I need to keep all the original pieces of my subaru if the eyesight or cameras start to fail later on. Amy and team were not only friendly, the quoted 2 hour wait since camera recalibration is included in the windshield repair, went by fast. I had access to WiFi to work out of their cozy waiting lobby area, paid my deductible and I was in and out before you knew it!
