Zero Stars for Zero Help: Best Buy Cumming, GA (Market Place Blvd)…read more This review is specifically for the Best Buy located on Market Place Blvd in Cumming, GA. It is the most basic things that matter in retail, and when your employees won't even acknowledge an in-person request, it makes the entire company look inept and weak. My request was simple: a warranty replacement for a Zagg screen protector, a product and service I had previously purchased. The last time I needed this service, I went to the mobile department, and it was fast, easy, and seamless. This time, the experience was a complete, hostile disaster. The mobile department was unstaffed. I asked several employees who were standing nearby for help and got nothing but blank stares or swift dismissals. The "greeter" at the front door was equally useless, looking at me as if I was asking them to donate a kidney. I finally learned I needed to go to Geek Squad. When I was eventually helped, the agent acted as if merely talking to me was a huge favor. He put in minimal effort to look up the original purchase, promptly telling me the item wasn't in my account and that I must have gotten it elsewhere. I pulled out my phone, easily found the original purchase online, and showed it to him. He shifted his tactic, condescendingly stated the phone was "too old," claimed they no longer carried the product, and told me to call Zagg myself--and that was the end of his assistance. He was rude, dismissive, arrogant, and had zero professionalism. It is literally as if the staff went out of their way to be rude and unhelpful. Best Buy Cumming must be doing fantastically well, because they certainly don't act like they need or want customers. I don't know who the current manager is, but once upon a time, Best Buy had excellent service. This was a hugely frustrating and disappointing experience. I received zero help on a warranty service I was owed, and it was such a simple, little thing. As I said, if they can't do the basics well, why trust them with the big stuff?

I would give them zero Stars if I could. I bought a computer from these guys and they sold me a…read more"subscription" to Microsoft Word that bills my credit card every year instead of selling me a software package that is a one-time purchase. I've bought many computers before and never had to pay every year. It was a one-time fee and that was it. This new idea of a "subscription" is just a scheme to make Bill Gates even more rich. And they refused to refund my money or even give me a store credit. Now i cannot access any of my documents or edit them. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER COMPUTER FROM THIS STORE!!!!

I made an appointment here to get a new battery in my iPhone. When I walked in I was warmly greeted…read moreby Tyler. He was super friendly. As a new employee you can tell he is still in training but it is obvious they have hired a great employee in him. I knew the battery would cost me $49.99 but was surprised to hear that they charge $19.99 on top of that for labor. I got a written estimate and left knowing they would call me when it was ready. I received a call within about two hours telling me my phone was ready. When I walked back in Tyler was the only one in the front working. When he went to ring up my charge it was almost $82 instead of the $73 I had been quoted. Tyler apologized profusely and said he had not added in the $6.99 parts processing fee. As a new employee he is still learning but this really annoyed me since I was already irritated that there was an additional labor fee that I wouldn't be paying at the Apple store. Since he was new and felt really bad I just paid my bill and left. I received a survey from them a few days later and expressed why I wasn't a happy customer. I received a call from the manager, Ryan, wanting to follow up on my survey. I returned the call a few days later when I got back to town from a trip. I was told I would get a call back from Ryan that night. I never heard from him. A few days later I called again and was pretty annoyed. Ryan was very apologetic and wanted to make things right. This is why they ended up with five stars from me. I felt like Ryan really listened to what I had to say and accepted responsibility for their error. He wanted me to be a happy customer and wanted to step up and fix where they dropped the ball. As a customer, I know places are going to mess up. What is important to me is how they handle their mistakes and I feel Ryan and Simply Mac did a great job with that. I would go back.

You guys rock! I love coming to your store! Every time I come in I get friendly, helpful service…read morewith no sales pressure. Employees are willing to spend as much time with me as I need -- I never feel rushed. I came in to buy a new Mac to replace my 2014 MacBook Air and the first thing Ryan did was ask me about how I use the computer, etc. Then he said I don't need a MacBook Pro, just another Air. When does a salesperson ever DOWN-sell you something??? He patiently answered all my questions in layman's terms so everything was easy to understand. Coming into Simply Mac is SO much better than going to the Apple store. Just walking into the crowded and hectic Apple store makes me anxious and nervous! Simply Mac is so much more relaxed and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Simply Mac for all your Apple needs! They know how to treat customers right.
