He told me the Samsung A models were built to be discontinued in the future and it would be best if I were to get an S23,24 or 25 when/if I decide to get a new phone. He said the A models only last 2 years which is correct. He told me I could bring my old phone in and transfer the data from it to my current phone or if I wanted to wait until I got a new phone, they could transfer the data to it too. Said it would take about 30 min and cost maybe $65.00.Love my new case.

Jason took a situation which could have resulted in me canceling 2 phone lines with T-Mobile, and changed it into me staying with T-Mobile as a very satisfied customer. All of the staff I encountered at the store were professional, responsive, and tried to be helpful. Jason did a great job in turning a negative situation around.

The owner recommended a phone (not trying to oversell) that was newer but similar to my Mother-n-Laws old one and she also made sure all of the data was retrieved and transferred. The old phone wasn't backed up and the screen was severely damaged (wouldn't stay on for more than 10 secs) so it was a challenge. The owner spent 2 hrs on it to make sure the new phone had her contacts and pics- that's a great customer-experience. Makes me want to leave Verizon just to support this store

But more importantly, they had the screen in stock and they had it fixed in 4 hours. They said they would text me when it was ready, but when they had not texted.by 6:30, , which is close to their 7 pm closing time, I took a chance and drove to the store. The location is a little sketchy and the lot looks dingy, and they share it with a local car mechanic shop I believe. There's limited parking available that's specifically designated to them once you pull in and drive to the right. This is a small locally owned used electronics store, and I was initially impressed by their selection of smart phones in good-excellent condition. They also sell laptops, tablets, Bluetooth speakers, and phone accessories I saw from the quick gander I had while waiting for them to prepare our purchases. They have ads on Craigslist, and if you mention their ad then you can receive 5% off of your purchase if you pay in cash, but to be frank I would have the ad readily pulled up on your phone or something for safe measures because it seems like these guys can either be really nice or rude af depending on the day I guess, lol. On our initial visit John and I picked up a couple of pixel 2xl's because they were decently priced, and the phones were in fairly good conditions. Before we left, our phones were cleaned off, and we were given whatever accessories that came with our phones. After we started using the phones at home we just realized that the conditions of the phones didn't meet our standards as far as the phones' lifespans would go. I tend to have bad luck with used/refurbished electronics, so I really don't hold any of this against them. Well... What had happened was... When I plugged my phone in before going to bed that night I made sure my phone was charging, but oddly enough when I woke up the next morning my phone was at 8%... Weird. John had to fiddle with it in order for it to actually charge again. Not something I really want to deal with if I plan on keeping the phone for a while. John also had some issues with the power/lock button on his phone, and that may be a quirky issue to many, but we tend to be slightly pickier when it comes to small details like that because I personally know how much it sucks to not be able to lock your phone after a few months of usage. We contacted them shortly after realizing my phone didn't charge to let them know about the issues in hopes we could just get a refund for the phones since they didn't have any other pixels available. Initially, I thought they were going to be really cool about it because they asked us to bring the phones in for them to check them out, and they were so cool during our visit the day before, but I guess it's a different story when people are trying to take your money lol. Two out of three of the guys didn't even bother to acknowledge us when we got there, and the one who did was being extremely condescending while we were explaining legitimate reasons why we were asking for refunds. I'm just not really one to spend that much money and not be satisfied. After bearing through a grueling and condescending conversation with someone who thought we were both idiots, we were granted our refunds. Although I didn't enjoy the tone we received, things could have gone worse, but at least they were nice enough to accommodate us.
