I went to this location and was helped very kindly by a lady. Unfortunately she had made a mistake and I called to get it fixed and the worker Rafael was super unprofessional and rude and even stated "I do not have time for this". He was also super rude in store as well and was rushing us in deciding what phones we were going to get when it was a big purchase of 9 phones. He also repeatedly said it was my fault in the mistake they had made. Instead of helping me in the mistake they had made he stated I should call another store and basically have them deal with it. I ordered a Galaxy S21 Ultra and an Otter Box case to go with it online. I received the phone without issue, but the case was not the right size. I went through a whole MONTH of drama trying to get a replacement for that case. The phone reps were rude and unhelpful. To make a long story short, I brought the case and the receipt to this location, and explained the situation to a very nice young lady. She let me know I wouldn't be able to get a refund, but I could pick out anything in the store that cost around the same amount ($37.99). I went with a wireless charger, which she helped me find. This is one of the few Verizon wireless corporate stores open in the area so it can get quite busy at times. I feel the staff genuinely tries to help you but they aren't that knowledgeable about many things. I was given the run around and told they couldn't help me in store and try to order what I wanted online because they weren't sure why the info was different. I left the store and sat in my car and tried to order online with the help of the chat feature. They told me what I wanted should have been done while I was in store but they helped me process an in store pickup. I walked right back in and to their surprise I picked up the exact item we previously had trouble with. I would say due to covid try to do most things online for in store pick up or delivery in order to bypass wait times and any confusion. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager, Frankie, was shady as hell. The store was full of customers. The two reps taking care of customers were extremely slow and not knowledgeable. After being next in line, (after waiting an hour), we were told he wouldn't be helping any customers- he would simply be checking people in! What kind of customer service is that? We decided to leave, following multiple customers who had already left. As we left, he laughed at us- I kid you not! Don't waste your time here. Added an extra phone....got a bill much higher than I signed up for. Called and complained...got credit for the over payment....next bill ...same thing even worse...called to complain...was told " I see we already gave you credit" They did not get it....I am supposed to be paying "X " amount, not " X +Y " amount ....duuuhhhhh de derrrrr derrrr duuhhh !!!! Swiched over to Boost Mobile and saved big. Comparison: Everything at boost is cheaper...phones at Boost $20-30.Service is $30 to $50. I am not currently happy with Verizon as a company, due to the new shared plans, etc., however this particular location has served me quite well. Whenever I have had an issue that needed to be dealt with in person, the management here has been very helpful, and even followed up with phone calls to make sure I was satisfied. This score isn't higher, however, because some of the issues I have needed to talk to management about have come as a direct result from the employees working in the store making errors. Also, there is typically a ton of people in here with huge wait times. read more

One of the men that work there, I think he is the manager, is extremely condescending. Every time I would ask a question he would say something like "who told you that?" or "is that what I said?" or "Do you remember what I told you?" in this really kind of aggressive and condescending way. The last time I went in there, I was at the counter and a couple, a man and a woman, walked into the store. The same worker addressed the man and completely ignored the woman that was with him - didn't look at her, talk to her, say hi, or anything. The only reason why I gave this store one star is because the other workers were honest and candid with their thoughts about which phone I should purchase, which I appreciated. I hope the manager realizes he is isolating 52% of the population. Update: I just read some of the other reviews - it is not at all surprising that most of the people giving one star are women who were treated poorly. Maybe this manager either needs to be fired or they need to seriously consider implementing some gender equality training. read more

The problem I had with the store is the in store representative that helped me. I was sent to this store by a Verizon representative from corporate, in which the store began talking to me like I'm an idiot and how terrible corporate is. He was an asshole that talked down to me and acted like he knew everything. The problem I had with him, besides his condescending attitude, was after all the shit talking he did about corporate, HE put the order in wrong for the wrong phone. I've been to this store once as we were in the area and decided to ask some questions about a phone we had recently purchased. As many others have noted there was a line that seemed to barely be moving. Once it was indeed our turn to talk to an employee I told him I had a question about a phone that I had recently bought, and he left to go talk another customer??? I didn't even understand what was going on. Eventually we finally got to talking about the questions I had. I am unsure if the employee was misinformed but what he ended up telling us was wrong as I called customer service after I left to ensure what he was telling us was right. This place has the worst service. Waited 30 min to have someone help me which was fine, but this guy left me and my family after 5 minutes to help someone else. He then came back 15 minutes later, talked to me for 30 seconds then left again to help some other customer. After waiting another 40 minutes, I finally got someone else to help me. She was really nice so I was thinking of giving this place two stars, but I ended up leaving the store 2 hours and 15 minutes after entering. This is just unacceptable. read more

I agree. I never liked the service the moment I walked in. I recently went in already wanting the HTC Thunderbolt, and they would not leave me alone for more than 2 minutes before I bought it. Even when I told them I wanted to look and compare other phones on my own they would not leave me alone. Then, a day after I purchased there was a problem with the volume rocker not clicking even though it functionally worked. I told them that I just got the phone yesterday (still under warranty) and I would like the issue to be addressed. All they did was make up a fake policy about "Verizon not being able to change the phone because it still works, otherwise Verizon would loose money." Also, they could not help because there was no technical support staff in the store that day. And the sales rep talking to me was being very loud and aggressive saying, "I don't see what the problem is." By the end everyone in the store was looking at me. They made me feel so dumb. So none of this made sense and I decided to go to the Verizon store next to Perimeter Mall. I told them everything that the staff said at the Satellite location and they basically told me that none of it was true. They had never heard of that policy, and that any one of them could have exchanged the phone for me without seeing technical support if they saw an issue. They also recognized that there was an issue with the volume rocker and told me that the volume rocker was actually one of the biggest complaints about the phone aside from low battery life. WORST SERVICE EVER. My sister, mother and i went to this Verizon Wireless location to return our old phones. While my mom was telling my sister about how another Verizon Wireless location went above and beyond to make sure everything transferred from the old phone to the new one. (Even though this Verizon location said they couldn't do it for my dad a week earlier) Byung had to open his mouth and disrespect us by giving us an attitude. He said something along the lines of "am i not doing my job properly?!" Sorry Verizon but this is awful. You guys should really worry about customer service. I had replacement iPad sent to me in Jan and 3 weeks later stopped working. Took it to this store and the rep called warranty center. After explaining I need a replacement ($149 hold on my corp account) i agreed for warranty center to ship replacement overnight. After numerous calls and 4 days later to warranty center, they said we not doing that. Will send empty box for my return then replacement. They didn't seem to care that Verizon charges premium $ for 5 lines, but when it comes to service its no_care service. When I switched the business account from AT&T, I was swamped with help buying phones and iPad' s. But when I need their service with this issue where were they........... do not recommend for small business owners. read more

Another example of a company who's gotten so big that they've lost their grasp on what customer service really is. My mom visited this store in late Feb to upgrade her iPhone and was greeted by ANDREW. While I wasn't with her on the first visit, she later described to me ANDREW'S attitude towards her and it was nothing shy of being a complete jackass. His attitude was very flippant and dismissive of her and at one point he actually said to her something like "if you will just listen, I am trying to teach you". Upon hearing the story (and being plenty angry - you don't mess with a man's mama), I asked my mom why she didn't trade her phone in because she'd likely get a credit on the new purchase. Turns out that option was never offered to her so I told her it *should* be an easy fix and that the store should offer the discount retroactively. So, we went to the store the next day and this is where we met (assistant manager) OMAR. OMAR greeted my mom and I with a friendly smile but that's as good as it got with him. When we explained the salesperson's shortcomings from the previous day, OMAR apologized and expressed his desire to make it right. I presented him with my first option request... 1) To process a $100 refund (the amount offered for the old phone) back to her credit card. OMAR responded that he couldn't do that. Frustrated, I asked why and his response was that his system didn't have the ability to process refunds like that. Wait a minute! Verizon is a retailer with merchant services and they DON'T have the ability the process a CC refund. We all know that's BS. So I told OMAR as such and he tried to hold his ground. So, I offered option... 2) Return the entire purchase (which, by the way, would be processing the refund OMAR said they didn't have the ability to process) and allow her to repurchase the same iPhone while adding the credit she was due for the trade in. OMAR said that was an option but smiled at me smugly as he explained he would have to charge a $35 restock fee because, and get this, he couldn't resell that iPhone being returned. Of course he can resell it.... he's reselling it to the same person! And, when I asked him to speculate on why ANDREW didn't offer the trade in value in the first place, OMAR simply said "We're not in the trade in business, we're in the sales business". Ha! Frustrated, we left the store and I later called customer service and spoke to a delightful young woman who, after hearing my story, was utterly appalled at the treatment we received. She got in touch with another assistant manager CARLOS and I finally had a chance to contact him and work this fiasco out. He was very understanding and, ultimately, between he and the store manager JUAN, got everything taken care of (by processing the refund OMAR said wasn't possible) and for that I'm appreciative. I called JUAN at the store to express my thanks. Despite this, I am giving this low rating because it's inexcusable that a customer is treated so disrespectfully and should have to put forth so much effort for it to be made right. a staff member was being a jack to a paying customer. the alarm went off and the jack came over and turned it off. i went off again and the jack cane back and turned it off. customer asks what sets the alarm so i wont do it again. jack says the bottom of the phone. customer didnt even touch the bottom and jack says well it went off twice. wow, really? umm, who knew the alarm is so sensitive to set off just like that sensitive jack! read more

In my experience, I was pleased with the friendly welcome and quick response to my questions and issues. It's much easier to drop by than to call in for support. I've had some issues with Droid and syncing with network, but they help me to resolve. My son and I, however, have been disturbed by some very rude customers. Granted there was a long line at 1:30pm on a Sunday, but the service we got from store manager Omar definitely offset the wait. We were unhappy about the $76 monthly fees for 2 feature phones barely used by 2 senior citizens for Sprint. Sprint told us the cheapest they have is hundred-dollar plans for 2 phones. We came to Verizon to see if we could add 2 lines to an existing family plan without changes to existing lines. The store manager explained to us that they could do that, but they don't have cheap feature phones available. he told me that I could go to 3rd party stores to get cheap phones but the existing lines can't keep their old benefits through 3rd party stores. And he thought of a better way to do it. He got us $100/year prepaid plans with $35 phones, which is great for our needs. The senior citizens couldn't understand English very well but the manager was super patient and he also asked and waited till everything was understood by everyone. The bill was even cheaper than he originally projected. And every single item of charges was explained. Numbers were ported, phones were activated on the spot. It was worth the wait. They should offer more seatings but I guess it's the company policy to keep people on their feet so people would walk around to browse their merchandise. read more
