I took two phones in for repair--my iPhone 16 Pro Max (broken back glass) and my iPhone 16 Pro (broken camera lens glass). My iPhone 16 Pro Max originally had a gray back panel. The technician working there agreed to repair both phones, so I left them at the shop while I went shopping at Walmart. When I returned, I was shocked to find that they had replaced my gray back panel with a gold one without asking for my permission. They also replaced the camera lens glass on my iPhone 16 Pro with a smaller, incorrect-sized lens glass. When I questioned him, he admitted that he didn't have the correct gray back glass in stock. He told me to come back in two weeks, saying he would have the proper parts by then and would replace them. Trusting his word, I paid the bill and left. Three weeks later, I returned to the shop, only to find that the original technician was no longer there. A new person informed me that the business had been sold and was under new ownership.
