I came in on a Monday around noon, and I was not told until the end of my transaction that the transfer would be completed in about three days... The reason I came here was because the closest Apple Store is over an hour away from Athens, and I thought this would be convenient. At the Apple Store, a transfer takes 2-3 hours max. I was fine with waiting a few extra days, though. I called on Wednesday to check the status of the transaction and they had forgotten about it and had yet to begin working on my computer. I started writing this post two years ago and just found it in my drafts, so I'll post what I have. Don't remember much more than what was already typed other than it was one of the worst customer service experiences in my life. Pretty sure they kept my computer for about a week and ended up not being able to do anything with it. Ended up driving to Apple and got it fixed within a day. Recommend just going to Apple first instead

I was given a window of 11:30-3:30 for the installation, so I went to work at 8 and planned to be home during the time frame they gave me. At 10:19 am, I received a call from the Geek Squad tech saying he was 4 minutes away from my house. I told him that I was at work and this was not within the time frame I was given. He said he could only wait 15 minutes and if I was not at my house then the installation would need to be rescheduled. I raced out of work and sped home. I passed the Geek Squad van as I was entering my neighborhood and he was leaving. I called and texted him that I was home but he cancelled my appointment. I lost time at work and did not receive the expensive installation I paid for. I immediately requested a refund for the installation and do not intend to shop at Best Buy again in the future. I have already found a private individual to install my TV for a fraction of the cost I was prepared to pay Best Buy.

Then it turns…read moreinto "I do not know, I will have to check with my Manager and give you a discount", there is never an apology or even an offer to revert the phone to original state and no charge: there is ALWAYS a charge, as you basically wave your rights away when you sign their document at the very beginning of the sales process. Something odd about their screens also: they are 3rd party screens (not original) and the brightness will not be the same than your old screen, meaning that you will want to crank it up all the way and your battery life will suffer because of this. Also my iphone 6S keeps glitching out every once in a while. I would suggest you pay a bit more and take your phone to an authorized "real deal" retail shop for them to fix it for you. You pay a bit more, but worth it. Lesson learned.

Avoid at all costs. 0 stars if I could. This place destroyed my laptop…read more I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so bad that I feel obligated to warn others. On a Friday, I brought my MacBook Pro to Average Joe for a simple battery replacement. I clearly explained that I needed it back by Sunday because I had class on Monday. They assured me this was no problem and might even be done the same day. I picked it up Saturday afternoon and immediately discovered that my laptop would not charge while the lid was closed -- an issue that did not exist before. When I returned as soon as they opened Sunday morning, I was met with zero apology or urgency despite explaining how critical it was that I have my laptop ready for school. Hours passed with no update. When I finally reached out myself, the technician admitted the issue existed but said he couldn't fix it and asked me to wait until the "MacBook specialist" came in the next day -- after they had already held my laptop all weekend. If they had communicated this sooner, I would have taken my computer elsewhere. When I went to retrieve my laptop and request a refund, I was ignored for about 20 minutes while other customers were helped. Instead of simply returning my device, the technician decided -- without asking -- to install a different battery minutes before closing. When I finally got my laptop back, I immediately heard loud clanking noises from inside the machine, and the screen displayed a brand-new error message: "Battery Service Recommended." At this point, my laptop was in FAR worse condition than when I brought it in. When I raised this, I was told nothing more could be done and that they hadn't done anything to damage my device. The technician then claimed that any damage they cause is a "liability I agree to" simply by bringing my device in -- despite the fact that I never signed a contract, was never shown any written policy, and never saw any sign stating this in the store. I was then falsely accused of bringing the laptop in with that error already on the screen, which is completely untrue. I spoke with the owner, who was dismissive, spoke over me, and repeatedly said, "What do you want me to do about it?" This business showed no accountability, no professionalism, and no respect for a customer's time or property. I ultimately had to replace my laptop entirely because of the damage done here. I would not trust this place with an iPod. If you value your devices, go anywhere else. If you absolutely must use them, document the condition of your device thoroughly before handing it over.
