First off It's hot as H E double hockey sticks in here! These cheapies never have the air on, they talk mess about you in a foreign tongue, and charge you 5$ for every darn extra you add on to your service. You want gel....5 dolla more! You want foot scrub....5 dolla more! You don't like color 5 dolla to change! But I must say that they do a kick ass job with my nails and toes. I never have to make an appointment and there is never any wait when I do go. They also know how to hook up your eyebrows! With that being said, go and get hooked up and don't forget you earbuds! Great little salon in the Upland area that's great for it's service & pricing. It's not the prettiest or modern of places but they get the job done for what you're looking for & it's clean. I really do like that they do not force products or extras on you....you only get what you ask for, which can be a relief. They open relatively early & I'd recommend that if you can, that is the best time to go without having a long wait time. The only thing I can gripe about is the quality of nail polishes that they have to offer. Most of their selection is on its way out, so you're better off bringing your own color. If you're into the labeled brands of polishes, you're not going to find them here. They accept credit cards & cash of course. I always go there to get my toes done, but today the lady that did my nails did a horrible job. She didn't smooth out the nails. I asked for another nail tech to fix what was wrong but no one offered to help. Tried to talk to Henry about fixing it but he ignored me. Asked about speaking to the manager they told me he won't be in until Wednesday. When I left I wanted the managers name and had to call twice to get it. The first time they hung up. WOW! The main owner Annie is the rudest buisness owner I've ever met! So unprofessional. I walked in there today with acrylic nails and I wanted them off and get a gel manicure. So I sit down with Annie and she starts doing my nails but for some reason she kept trying to convince me to just get a whole new set off acrylic nails! I kept telling her that's not what I wanted that I just wanted my natural nails. She started getting an attitude and still kept insisting on the full set. After getting tired of arguing with her I said you know what just finish taking off my nails and I'll go somewhere else to get my mani. Which nail take off IS A SERVICE ON THEIR MENU. She didn't like that and said no I'm not finishing your nails I don't wanna take them off. I said it's $5 service you offer finish taking off my nails and I'll pay you $5. Got a gel manicure, and simple pedicure, there was no wait. The gel had a few bubbles and She missed the edges and uneven coats. The manicurist couldn't do the design I wanted which was a simple fade. She told me later that i couldn't have a bow on it either because it would fall off and would cost $5. All in all I expected more but I still like the color and the job wasn't too bad. Paid $27, so not too bad. If I wanted a design I wouldn't come here however. read more

Annie has been doing my nails since 2010 .... she is by far the best I have had. I started going here after my previous salon was no longer in my budget. The quality and detail is better then most of the high quality salon in the area. Henry is my toe man, he is the best especially if you have ingrown toe nails like me he is the only one that can handle them with ease. Both do great nail art as well. I've been going to Pro Nails randomly since I was little , I live by there and all my older cousins have been to pro and used to go for decades! Pro has always been a hit or miss for me. It just depends on the person that does your nails. Today John did my nails and they came out pretty good! Shape was good too. One hand did come out lighter than the other one because he used acrylic powder, that's kind of a major downside but overall they look fine ! John was very nice I'm satisfied overall. Thanks John!!! I am giving this place one star but I would never consciencely choose to go to this establishment again. I took my two daughters for mani & pedis as a treat. I left with my youngest daughter, 6 at the time, devastated. My daughter has very small toenail beds and I guess they found it funny. Her nail person informed all her coworkers (in their foreign tongue) about the size of her nails. Next thing they were all coming over a touching her nail & talking about them. We have been going here for 10 years and it's so unfortunate due to always being turned away lately as a walk in, they speak in their own language and facial expressions you can tell they are talking about you we loved coming here for years but they lost 3 clients you are better off somewhere else. I've been to this place a couple of times and it's been a good experience every time. I recently got a gel mani and some nails chipped within a couple of days. I called it in and was told to walk in and they would take care of me. I get there and everyone was so kind and attentive. They did not make me feel bad for calling in. Usually when this happens at other places they look at you ugly and are rude, but not here. The lady who greeted me told me to choose a new color, and she had a man re do my mani. I was very pleased with the way they handled my situation. I received great service from them. I will definitely continue getting my nails here. I recommend this place. I live in the area and have tried at least 10 different nail salons in an attempt to find a good one. Up until now all the others have failed. Pro Best is by far the best I have come across and they are very reasonably priced. Tony is awesome! He makes my nails look beautiful and the fills last three weeks. I am really hard on my nails and they usually break but they haven't since Tony had been doing them. They do not charge for little things like to cut down the nails. Love Love Love it here! read more
