We had a massive ant invasion that lasted a week with no decrease after numerous attempts to try to clear them out on my own. I finally started looking for professional exterminators after the ants shorted an electrical socket in my kitchen. I was specifically looking for a company that used stuff which wasn't poisonous to pets (we have a dog) & plants (was trying to grow a garden). Lo and behold, I found these guys and in 1 visit, they killed off the ants and found where they were coming from and killed them at the source, including multiple queens. Soon after moving into a 'new-to-me' dream home, I discovered rodent droppings. I tried to take measures into my own hands by cleaning up the droppings then placing HW store traps throughout the home, but to my disappointment, I awoke on Thursday morning to more droppings and my beloved Nespresso machine had been chewed on. I knew I couldn't win this battle alone so I googled "Pest Control Companies Near me" and scrolled through a few pages until I came upon Pro Active Pest Control. Their 5 star rating and great reviews were enough for me to know I need their help. They were friendly and empathetic of my situation, and very quick to explain their services and schedule an appointment for the next day. Alex, their pest technician called me when he was on his way to my home the next day. He asked me a few questions upon arrival, inspected a few key areas and got to work strategically placing traps. Before he left he shared his observations and explained the next steps. I left my home to run errands. I was gone for only about 1 hour and came home to discover one of the traps had been set off, something had been trapped! I contacted Alex and he came back to check the trap. He confirmed there was a large dead rat inside the trap. Had he not placed the trap so strategically in what he thought was the rat's likely path, who knows how long the unwanted rodent would remain here. Today, Connor accomplished a very thorough job of ridding the many cobwebs and spraying to kill any possible spiders, black widow spiders, cockroaches, wasps and and the many ants that summer time brings. We had a surprising infestation of fleas occur in August inside the house. The store bought abatement material barely made a dent. After Pro Active treated inside the house, there was visible "fallout" (dead fleas and other bugs) everywhere. We vacuumed as they suggested and it was a huge improvement.
