We have been doing business with McLaren Pest Control for several years now and we have been very happy with the service at both of our properties i Tracy CA. Don McLaren has been performing our pest control service and is excellent at what he does. Leanna, Do's trustworthy wife is the best customer service manager ever, and she is friendly and helpful in our pest control service at our home. if we could rate this comp with % rating that would be great. Thanks to McLaren Pest Control. read more

Great service , excellent response . Easy to work with, would highly recommend them for their services and they are local in the Tracy area

This is an update after six years, and this local business has maintained a top-notch rating! While we have had a couple of young employees who were not up to the mark, the long-term employees and the owner are just fantastic. I don't see the young trainees anymore! It goes to show how hard it is to find good employees! The service is excellent, and I have had to call them between appointments a couple of times, and the office promptly schedules the appointment. They provide outstanding value for the money, and I would recommend a local business over a national franchise any day read more

We had pest control service done at our home, and within three weeks, ants and other pests were still showing up. They claimed to offer a 30-day guarantee and said they'd re-service if any issues came up. I contacted them at week 3, again at week 4, and once more at week 6--no response. I even sent date-stamped photos showing the ongoing pest issues so they had clear proof and a reason to follow up. Still nothing. Turns out, two of our neighbors had the same experience--poor results and zero follow-through. So this isn't just a one-off. If you're looking for a company that's reliable and honors its guarantee, this isn't it. The pests are still here, and so is the feeling that we wasted our money. read more

If you are searching for a Pest control company that will get the job done I highly recommend Mclaren. We have been using them for years and will continue our service as a preventative. I have a huge fear of those "water bugs" especially in my home and McLaren has brought me so much peace with their service. Not only have they kept the bugs out of my home but their service is always on point. Mike is our usual but sometimes get Don and I appreciate them both. Thank you guys! read more

McLaren is professional, timely and friendly. I was concerned about a rodents issue and McLaren came out , set traps and assured me that there is no issue. I recommend McLaren service and will definitely be a returning customer. read more

Always helpful and stays on top of the request. Values the customer and offer on request services as well.

Amazing service, friendly staff (phone and in person) and locally owned. Love that we found this service provider when we first moved into town. My home feels protected and if we experience any issues, even a small one, MacLaren comes out right away. Thanks for everything! read more

Don & I spoke about the concerns with an open mind & positive intentions towards a resolution. Open and honest communication is the key and that did the trick. Don & team have addressed the issue and I have signed up back with McLaren pest control services. My original concern wasn't fully negative anyway and didn't deserve just 1 star. Thanks Don! read more

Don was very knowledgeable, & very courteous. He wore a mask while performing the service even though he's fully vaccinated. He was on time and went straight to business. I've browsed around through yelp for pest control svcs and He has the best price in town and I went with the Bi monthly service. No gimiks or no early termination fees. To summarized it all, excellent service and I highly recommend for all ur pest control needs. read more

I have had very good experience from the very first time that I contacted McLaren Pest Control. Everything was explained very clearly and I am very satisfied. read more

Excellent customer service when calling for information and booking. He came out today to do treatment on my home. I was so happy to see all the effort put into making my yard pest free for my children. Don himself came out and was very professional. I highly recommend McLaren Pest Control! A huge perk for me was he sprayed the huge cypress trees and left them looking bright and green! read more

Unreliable and unethical, Don came to give estimate for monthly service, the price he quoted we signed agreement, he informed he will do first service on Saturday, got automated text for 10:30am appointment, no one showed up, called office left message on Saturday no one called back, called back again on Wed, no one called back. Should have common courtesy to inform what happened or any other issue, instead of wasting my time. Totally Unprofessional read more

We've lived in Tracy for over 10 years and never had professional pest control services. This year was so bad, we decided to get professional help. We decided to give McLaren Pest Control a try based on the great reviews we saw both here on yelp as well as on our Neighborhood sites and boy have they lived up to the hype! We are grateful we went with McLaren Pest Control since the owner, Don is so great! (the office gal is very sweet and helpful as well) We've been using his services for a few months now and he's not only great at what he does, but he's also friendly, very knowledgeable, accommodating as well as always goes the extra mile to please his customers. Since we had never used any pest control services ever, we had no clue about how it works or how they do what they do. They not only got back to my initial inquiry quickly, they were also very patient in all my questions and explained everything I needed to know. I was able to set up my first appointment very quickly. We also have kids & pets (both indoor and outdoor) and they use pet/kid safe products which is a huge plus for us. We had multiple issues going on in multiple places of our property and he attacks them all! He even sprays my flowers and garden where he sees bugs! I also love that when we notice things in-between our scheduled visits, I am able to just call and set up a time for Don to come back out (free, it's included in my service!) to take care of it. I also love how accommodating they are with the service schedule. I am able to let them know MY best days/times and they work around us. They also provide text updates to remind you when your next service is coming up as well as automatically email receipts when your card is charged for their services. Great experience so far and I'm extremely glad we went McLaren Pest Control. I will continue to recommend them to get the job done! read more

Mike E. of McLaren Pest Control is MY technician. He is always friendly and efficient. I appreciate him finding and dealing with my "forever" wasp nests. McLaren has always been responsive to any call or contact I have made outside of my normal planned service. Two thumbs up and a thank you for my pest free home. read more

I cannot express how Happy we are with Mclaren Pest control services. Don and his team provide an amazing service of keeping my house pest free. Not to.mention they are always going above and beyond to make sure your home or business is protected from any unwanted pest. Trust me if you value your time and Money and want a company that's honest , trustworthy and that will show up on time and provide quality service then look no further. Give them a call today ! You will be glad you did. I know I am. read more

It is quite disappointing that he terminated the service abruptly without proper agreement with customer and I am always willing to working with him per our tenants availability and still he terminated the service saying conflict with tenants availability. I never questioned his service or billing. I think when customer is willing to work service provider, Service provider should not turn the customer down. well if there are challenges the those needs to be worked on. as a home owner we are looking for reliable service provider and I have been customer with him for past 1 year. one can be good at service but in my perspective one is not willing to work with customer then it cannot be trustworthy read more

So happy I decided to call McLaren. We usually do our own pest control, but with a new baby we don't have the time or energy to do it anymore. We were worried about his safety outside with the wasps, and inside with the seasonal spider issue in this area. We were lucky enough to set up a last minute appointment, and the owner Don came out. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I feel confident that that I can call them anytime if we still have any more issues in the future. Very pleased with our service. read more

We have been working with Don for years at our parents house and when we bought our new home at Tracy Hills, this was a no brainer, he comes on a monthly bases and even goes out of his way to talk about things to do to make sure the pests stay out. Even bonus he saw a area above our roof that was housing a few wasps and I had no idea. Service and communications is excellent and there is no middle man or random people who show up, it's always nice to have personalized service. read more

Everyone at mcLaren pest control is nice and thorough in explaining what they are doing. They are responsive and reasonably priced and so a great job at keeping bugs away all year round read more

Don is amazing! Came same day, and got to work right when he got here. Professional, fast, and friendly couldn't ask for better service. We have an ant problem and he not only explained where they were coming from, but how to get rid of them and what he was going to do. Gave us a 30 day guarantee and to call anytime we need to be serviced again. Could not recommend this company more read more

We've used a few different pest companies since moving here, and the one we had prior to mclaren kept dropping the ball. We'd have to call them back multiple times for reservices, because their techs wouldn't take their time and get the job completely done. So we decided to see what else and who locally we wanted to try since our last company was one of the bigger franchise places. From recommendations of others, we decided to give McLaren a shot to help combat an ant flare up issue we were having around a year ago. They came out, were able to get the treatments we needed that were safe for both us and our pets. We did sign up for regular service, so they now come out every couple months, and are always a pleasure to work with. Their Techs are through, and everyone has been very friendly as well. We look forward to continuing this relationship and keeping our home pest free! read more

McLaren provides outstanding service. They are extremely friendly and thorough. No pressure to sign a contract, easy to contact and schedule appointments, as well as very timely. They deserve a local community award of some sort. read more

They seems very professional and responsive in the beginning but somehow their products don't seem to work efficiently. We are still having pest problems.. read more

Don, came over and during our walk through pointed out every single issue that I was going to mention to him to spray for and more. He immediately spotted two wasp nest within a matter of seconds as we walked the backyard. Don has a very high expectation and knows what he's doing and very knowledgeable. I'm so glad we switched from aptive. The service we received today from Mclarens was phenomenal and detailed. I highly recommend them. I literally requested a quote on Yelp and within a day I received a quote and a call to schedule a consultation. It was a very smooth process, in alll areas like customer service and the actual spraying/treatment. I can honestly say. I feel like our home is in good hands read more

Don is the best! He cares about keeping his customers happy and I have no more pest in my house. 100% recommend McLaren Pest Control.

I called the office this morning and asked if anyone can come out ASAP today. They listened and 3 hours later, I had Don standing outside the door! Don inspected the property, cleaned the exterior of the house then sprayed the outside. As soon as he got outside, he was able to locate where and how ants were coming in and tackled the problem right away. He also set up extra traps in my kitchen area just in case. My call was out of pure desperation as I tend to research and read all the reviews before I make the call..but I'm glad that I did. I signed up for 3 months services in addition to today's inspection+spray. read more

I can't say enough how impressed and happy we are that we switched to McLaren Pest Control. From the moment I called to get a quote, I was met with such kindness and understanding. We have a one year old who loves to play outside in our backyard. Well that's been a little difficult lately, with spiders and critters. All over her water table and play structure. Not to mention the endless cob webs and spiders inside our home. Even days after being sprayed by our previous pest control. It became a daily task of wiping all our outdoor furniture down as well as vacuuming inside so our little one can play. It's been a little over two weeks since we were sprayed by McLaren Pest Control and I'm blown away. No spider webs out back or inside what so ever. The best way I can describe the feeling is content. Our first initial spray was amazing. The Owner is such a nice guy who came over and was thorough. He was quick and put all our concerns to ease. The cherry on top is how amazing the rates are. I had called around for quotes prior to hiring McLaren Pest Control and let me tell you, pest control has gotten very expensive. Especially if it's not working for you. If you're unhappy with your current pest control or looking to start service with one, McLaren Pest Control is the company for you. A family owned, friendly and amazing company. You won't be disappointed. We are customers for life now. read more

I've been using McLaren ma services for over a year now and couldn't be more satisfied! They come out whenever I need them to and I rarely see any bugs around since they've started coming out! Office staff is very friendly and accommodating when I call to schedule/change appointments! Mike is my usual service technician and he's a very cool guy! Great personality and always asks if I'm seeing anything that he needs to focus on when he's spraying. I've forgot to unlock my side gate I don't know how many times when he's supposed to come, so now he just calls and makes sure, most times when I forget to unlock it he will focus on the front and will come back another day to get the back done, very accommodating and he's genuinely just a cool dude! So glad that I got referred to McLaren! read more

I had an indoor moth problem and Don McLaren placed traps and sprayed and after a week he returned to see if his treatment was effective and it was. Turned out they were attracted to the bird seed I had stored in my garage and were coming inside every time I opened the door. I also was having spiders coming inside with lots of other insects and ants in my yard and had him spray and he got rid of many cobwebs too. He's very thorough and a super nice guy. The $89 was well worth it. I'm now on a every 3 month schedule. I highly recommend him. read more

I used to be a long time Terminex customer until I caught them on camera doing half assed work. So since my breakup with Terminex I've been using Don McLaren. We have him out a few times a year he cleans all the cobwebs and sprays my entire house. Arguably the best service in town. Highly recommend! read more

I couldn't be happier with Don's services! My husband found him on yelp, and Don came by the next day. He took care of the bug issue, which was evident by all the dead bugs we found later on. He is extremely nice, knowledgeable, honest, punctual, and not pushy (had a pushy sales guy come out attempting to sell their pest control services the day before). Another big plus is his prices are very reasonable! I told Don about a black widow that I briefly saw run into a hole. About a week later, I assumed I found it. I called Don with my anxiety high. He asked me to cover it with a bowl and said he would be there after after seeing his next client. He came as promised and took care of it! Turns out it wasn't a black widow lol (Its body looked like it but with no red mark, and I was much too scared to take a closer look). Don was extremely kind with his reaction to me having to come all the way out there for just a single house spider. Thanks, Don. You're the best! read more

We had a great experience! They were on time which is great. I have had services done at my house and they all failed getting to the house on time. Don was professional and very accommodating. Took his time with us. Overall deserves 5 stars. Thank you mclaren pest control read more

Awesome service! As advised, pests were gone within 3-5 days. Technicians are friendly, asked about any problem areas and addressed the issues. I actually have less cobwebs around the outside of the house that I have to deal with. read more

Had an issue with some patio mites and yellowjackets and they came back out with nonproblems at all and sprayed for this. Thank you
