My contract is almost up with Moore Pest Control and I could not be more relieved. This company is the most disorganized and negligent. When I set up the first appointment they did inform me to have everyone out of the house for at least an hour after spraying, I made it a point to take my kids to the fair that day as my In-Laws waited at home to let the technician in the home. An hour after the scheduled appointment time my mother in-law calls me saying they never even showed up, No call No show on the first day. I get a hold of Chris "who apparently runs the office" and he has zero explanation for why nobody decided to show up. Fast forward to like 9 moths later, we have been having them come every other month to spray the outside. When signing up with Moore Pest Control I opted for automatic payment, so I knew when they came they would take their money out and I didn't have to worry about it. Until I get a phone call from Chris stayed I owe them $259 all at once. So instead of the $80 that I had budgeting for them every other month. Now they call wanting $259 all at once! I have two young children and my elderly father in law to take care of and our money is budgeted down to the penny. Chris explains that his office changed programs so the card payments where not going being ran. So just another lack of organization on his part. I explain to Chris I can not pay $259 all at once, so we set up a deal that I was going to clean his house for half of the bill. However when our scheduled day came around for the cleaning I was in and out of the vet with my 1yr old kitten who almost died. But before I was able to contact Chris I had already gotten an email with a receipt for the charge amount of $200. When YOU mess up YOUR own books that's YOUR problem! I should not have to pay $200 all at once when I signed up to have to payments automatically taken out. Now it's May and Chris has ran my card 2 or 3 times out of the blue. He takes whatever money he wants directly from my account and whenever. read more

After hearing rave reviews from my neighbors about these guys, I gave them a call and set up an ongoing service. Setting Up Service I called MQ and they are a family owned business. Scheduling my first service was super easy. Pre-Service When we first moved in, we had spiders and pincher bugs. Of course that was to be expected from a brand new house. But my wife hates spiders and these wolf spiders are huge. We had a good amount coming out in different areas of the house. Post-Service These guys showed up on time, and were very knowledgeable. They gave me a ton of information. After they sprayed, my bug problem was completely gone. Simply effortless, additionally they will come back on request and re-spray for free if you have additional bugs. Bottom Line You can't beat quality like this! I make it a point to make sure I get to know the people who come to my home for service to guage character, ethics, etc.. This team is awesome! What I especially liked was the attention to detail, explanation of what/when/where and best of all, no more ants. I think the key thing about this company is listening to the explanations!!!! I have been asking Josh to pass by since October 2021 and request to service something in the Garage. The Mousetraps he had planted earlier to check it out and see if there are any mice residues in the Garage. Also, he just hops in for 10 minutes sprays and leaves. We have bugs afterwards and I have to buy seperate pest control spray for that. These folks charges $43 and above for a months charge and the work duration is just 10 minutes and also if you need them, Josh will answer at his own pace and sometimes not answer at all. Best Pest Control company around Tracy/Mountain House. Friendly, always call a day ahead to give you an arrival window and making sure every issue is being addressed while they are at your home. My son has a nice size playhouse in the yard and they cleaned up his house from the spider webs and beehives when they see it plus spray it to assure his playhouse is as protecred as the main house. They will come back when they were not invited to. And they will get upset when you do not allow them to spray. The owner is extremely aggressive and will go out of his way to visit your company/home and yell at you and your employees for not allowing them to spray when they were never asked to come back in first place! If you want a schedule, set one up rather than making your own and randomly guessing when is the right time to spray. We purchased our new home in Tracy in July. It had been sitting unoccupied for quite sometime and had a bit of a spider issue. I initially called Moore for a one time service to help get the issue under control. A week after we moved in we had an ant infestation and they came and sprayed again since we were within our month window. All was good for about a month and then we had more ants. After talking things over, we decided to go ahead and sign up for the every other month service. I am so glad we did! Josh and Chris have always been quick to respond to my calls and texts and super friendly. We are working on eliminating the ant colonies that like to come in our house and they come back as many times as needed to spray until they are gone. Just today, even though it is raining and can't spray again, Chris interrupted his weekend to bring us more ant bait since we have yet another ant issue. We had a mice and rat problem in our attic. We had Josh come up and set up four traps to start minimizing the problem. He stated he would come back the same day to check in. He never came back. My father called him several times to reach him but he went straight to voicemail. WEEKS went by and still no update. We aren't the type to complain so we just let it slide UNTIL the company charged my card. I called the company owner named Chris and told him our situation. Nobody has came back to remove the traps so my dad took out the dead rats himself. He seemed nice and sent someone right away to come check for the following morning. WARNING!! Please read. We had Terminix come to our house yesterday because we had some mice a while back and they offered to do an inspection. This guy named Ty Cooley went up in the attic and told us we had a rat problem so severe we would need to remove all insulation, sterilize and get new insulation. He showed us pictures of rat droppings and damage all through our attic. Talked about disease, wore a serious mask up in the attic. He spent 2 hours at our house, came across as the nicest guy. At first it was $8000, then we got a "deal" for $6000. When we said we would get a second opinion he quickly lowered it to $5120. They were to come this morning and take care of it. Thankfully, we followed our intuition and called Christopher Moore of Moore Pest Control right here in Mountain House. They told us to not have them come until they could inspect it. They came today and guess what. There were a few pieces of poop at least 1.5 years old, other than that NOTHING! No damage, no poop. One of the cleanest attics they had seen. Those pictures we saw were obviously not of our attic. My husband went up there and saw it for himself. We are so angry that we almost spent $5000+ of our hard earned money on something completely unnecessary. It is criminal. Needless to say we are switching over to Moore Pest Control immediately. Their visit today was free. I wanted to make everyone aware since Terminix is such a big company. At the very least always ask for several bids and ask the inspector to email you the pictures.
