After receiving 4 bids for pool & spa resurfacing & renovations, we chose Capstone. A neighbor had…read moreused Capstone & they were very happy with their finished product, which helped us make our decision. We resurfaced, re-tiled, reset the coping, split the drains, changed out the lights in both the pool & spa, & shallowed the deep end from 9ft to 5 1/2 ft, & created a longer bench in the deeper end of the pool. For the resurfacing we used Tropics Blue Mini Pebble, recommended by Shelby, our amazing Project Coordinator, & we love it! It actually looks a little different throughout the day depending on the amount of sunlight. The entire Capstone team is impressive! They make you feel like you are their only client. Travis came out to give us our estimate & was great at suggestions to help us reach our vision & stay within budget. Aubrey & Shelby were incredible at communication regarding scheduling, responding to the many questions we had about the details, & when any issues arose, communicating to the team. Cameron always made time to stop by for finishing touches & made sure we were happy. Capstone Pool & Spa just finished a MAJOR project to refinish my pool and replace ALL the concrete…read morein the back yard. To say that such a project is a major undertaking is truly an understatement. John was our project manager (juggling ours plus many other projects this summer) and did an excellent job of keeping track of where we were in our project as time and tasks progressed. We chose poured concrete coping, top-cast finish for coping and deck and StoneScapes Aqua Cool pebble finish. We also had them raise the wall on the in-pool spa so that the coping runs around the top of the spa at the same height as the rest of the coping with a small spillway to circulate the water back into the pool. We had them plum a separate intake for the pool vacuum so water is drawn in through both the skimmer and the pool sweep. And we added an auto-fill so we no longer have to remember to fill the pool. I am very happy with all the design choices we made; John was a great help with those decisions. There must have been at least 30 different people working on our project during the 3-month duration. Every one of the resources were professional, polite and most of all took great care to keep our back yard cleaned up and safe after each day's work. I don't know if any of you have had ALL your concrete decking demo'd, but it looked like a bomb went off after the jackhammering was done and before all the concrete rubble was removed. BUT John's crew got it all removed (plus some extra rubble we had lying around in our yard) and smoothed the dirt out so we could safely walk in the back yard. The tile work was impeccable; AJ was very detail oriented and lined all the patterns up beautifully. Frankie was the best pool electrician/plumber and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. He also took the time to handle small details that he thought should be done, like fitting a board back in my fence that had to be removed for a new gas line that was put in. At the end there were several small things to finish up, I created a list for John and he diligently worked through all of them. I LOVE my pool and backyard now, once the water was in and balanced, we were in it EVERY day this summer! Thanks for all your hard work and effort John and everyone at Capstone. If you need your pool worked on, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Capstone to you.
