When he arrived I was told that no credit for the $175.00 trip charge would be given toward the cost of doing the work. In other words, I would owe them for the trip charge even if I elected to do the work. This is very unusual from any other service vendor I have ever used. They always remove the trip charge if the work is done. Now that I was into them for the excessive trip charge, I was told that the installation of the shower trim would be almost $1.000.00 and that did not include the trim parts which I already owned. I should have sent him on his way and cut my losses but I regretfully allowed him to do the work. After he finished the water pressure was very poor and he told me that the parts might be defective and to call Moen the manufacturer. Not wanting to ever see Carl Skelly again, I called another plumber out to take a look at the problem. He completely disassembled the shower trim and removed 3 flow restrictors and screens (which I asked Skelly to remove) and put it all back together. The water pressure is better than ever now. Skelly Plumbing is a ripoff and takes advantage of their customers by charging an excessive non refundable trip charge. The work was unsatisfactory and this "expert" plumber didn't even know how to remove the flow restrictors to allow useable water flow volume. Buyer beware!!!

Warning!!! I recommend carefully evaluating this company before hiring them…read more I contacted the company to clear a slow or clogged main drain line on my AC system. Water from the backup was dripping from the attic from the exterior pipe which is the warning sign. Before the technician arrived, my air conditioner was operating normally; the drain line was the only issue I had observed. The technician worked in the attic to flush the AC drain line and said to install a diverter valve. Approximately one hour after he left, the entire AC system stopped operating and would not turn on. I immediately contacted the company and requested that they return. When the company returned, I was told that the circuit board had failed and that I would need either a replacement circuit board or a new furnace. The furnace itself had not been the subject of the requested service; I had only requested that the AC drain line be cleared. I then contacted a second HVAC company to inspect the system. According to that company, wiring connected to the circuit board had been disconnected and the board had been left disabled. They left it that way!!!! The second company's assessment was that the company likely did something by accident and did not want to take accountability. The cause of the failure remains disputed. The original company attributed the problem to a failed circuit board and did not accept responsibility for the system becoming inoperable after its visit. Based on the estimates provided, I was told the repair could cost approximately $1,500 for a circuit-board replacement or approximately $6,500 for a new furnace. I paid $790 to have the slow or clogged drain line cleared. Before the service, the AC was operating; afterward, the system was unusable. Because of the timing and the conflicting explanations, I recommend obtaining a second opinion and confirming exactly what work was performed before authorizing additional repairs. Maybe they are good for tiny repairs but don't let them near any expensive parts. I would never have them install a brand new system!!!! My house is over 90 degrees and even hotter upstairs. With my elderly mother and 3 young kids we had to check in to a hotel for a few days while I find someone the fix or replace the unit. Very disappointing Milton. Super honest, humble and down-to-earth guy, Sang and his team came to save the day! Sang did a great job of explaining the underlying issues, took his time, and discovered that the builders or sub-contractors who originally built my parents house back in 2004 installed the piping incorrectly, so the hot and cold waters running through the pipes were all wrong...this by the way would not have been discovered had it not been for Sang doing such a thorough job in checking everything to find the root cause!
