a bathroom with a sink and shower

Earlier this year we decided to remodel 2 of our bathrooms, large master included, as they were outdated and had a few plumbing issues. We got referred to Armen and decided to go with them and have no regrets. Armen and his team were extremely professional and clean. They always double checked any design elements along the way to ensure it was exactly how we wanted things and even gave recommendations at times when needed. Per the original contract the job was completed on time and the original agreed upon price. (I've had other contractors tack on expenses) We had one small problem after we were all finished so I let Armen know and they came out within a week and fixed it in one day. We absolutely love the results and couldn't be happier. I'm glad we got referred to Priority One Construction through a friend and went with them. Great company, great people and great work! Thank you!

I got about five bids for my whole-house remodel, and Creative Innovation Developers stood out for…read moretheir great communication and solid references. Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

Go Home Builders did a wonderful job with our primary bathroom remodel. We interviewed multiple…read morecompanies and went with GHB since they seemed the most design-forward and client-friendly of the bunch, and gave us a reasonable quote too. I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!

Notably, their employees are treated well, and express gratitude for their employers. They did a lot of work on our home - from a bathroom renovation (including upgrading our plumbing to copper pipes), to constructing shelves, building a fence, adding an HVAC unit, repairing our roof, hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets, and painting the inside and outside of our home. All of these projects represented positive experiences thanks to their fair pricing (vetted by our contacts who work in the industry), excellent communication, and high-quality work. We especially appreciated their attention to detail and safety - they were able to fix things that we did not realize were problems. For example, they repaired our electric driveway gate so it would close completely and repaired our kitchen cabinets after discovering they were not up to earthquake safety standards. They also identified and rectified holes in the attic/roof that two previous contractors failed to address. When our water heater failed, Jose and Roman worked through the evening, delaying their dinner, so we could have hot water again. It has a been a true pleasure working with Jose, Roman, and their team. We strongly recommend hiring them as your contractor!

We requested two EV charger outlets, which required a more involved panel upgrade, and demolition revealed a few structural issues that needed extra support. These changes increased the cost, but nothing felt out of line for the added scope. Elite Builders was not the lowest-priced option we considered, but also not the highest. Gabriel was our main point of contact and the strongest part of the experience. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely tries to help. He added a couple of items at no charge, stayed available by text throughout the project, and even sent an edible arrangement to thank us for our business. His effort and attitude made a real difference. My interactions with his partner, Sheron, were not as comfortable. His communication style made some conversations harder than they needed to be and it is something I would consider carefully if deciding on the company again. A few quality items needed follow-up, but everything was addressed in the end and the finished ADU looks great. Overall, this was a positive experience with a few bumps, and the final result and Gabriel's commitment stood out.

Initially we hired him to paint our home and to replace a number of rotting fascia boards. He also helped me select a beautiful front door to update the look of our home, as well as replace an exterior side door and repainted and changed the hardware of our kitchen/garage fire door. When we had issues with some of the work done, Gabriel was right on it to make sure it was taken care of immediately. This type of attention is not always given with other people we've dealt with before. Gabe takes pride in his company to do an excellent job for his clients. After a month and a half since the job was completed, Gabe came over to assess the job, after we had a week of steady rain, to make sure we didn't have any other questions for him. We would definitely recommend him and his company to do a great job!

I had a crew out to my house the very next day. They removed the entire step and used all new composite material. There is no paint that will peel, no splits in wood. Spacing of the planks is perfect. I would absolutely hire them again. EDITED TO NOTE, I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY THE COMPANY. THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO CORRECT THE ISSUES. I AM PLEASED ABOUT THAT. I WILL UPDATE FURTHER WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I spent approximately $75,000 with this company. The paving job was the main job. Front, driveway and backyard. They did an awesome job on the pavers. The small job was to add a wooden step around an existing wood deck. This is where everything fell apart. The planks were laid at different distances apart. The paint bubbled in numerous places. The Redwood they said they used, has split down the center of some pieces. Josef was responsive to my complaints and sent out the worker to repair. This happened 3 times. He repaired the wood cracks with "bondo". There are so many layers of paint, it's peeling off. I gave this company one year and 3 attempts to make this step look as it should. It's now been almost 1.5 years and now it's time to let the world know...DO NOT HIRE WAY TO GO BUILDERS for any wood projects. You will be wasting your money. I'm attaching pictures.

You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Highly recommend for anyone looking to transform their outdoor space -- quality work, fair pricing, and a timeline that'll surprise you.

Our project included major layout changes to removing a whole fireplace/wall, and he took the time to truly understand our vision from the start. For a our house renovation, that level of communication made a huge difference for me. Managing a full home remodel can be overwhelming, but Jay handled everything smoothly and professionally. He was responsive, detail-oriented, and proactive with solutions when questions or challenges came up. The quality of work speaks for itself, and we're beyond happy with the final result. We recently purchased a 1950's home that was outdated and was looking to rejuvenate our home before moving in. We sent out various inquiries on Yelp and through referrals. Jay and Rui were very responsive and came out to give us a quote immediately without delay. Jay showed us his show room as well as various projects he was currently working on giving us more than enough reassurance that he'd be able to handle our project. Jay gave us a timeline and scope of work that met our desired budget and most of all he worked thoroughly with us to create the perfect floorplan. We had a gut feeling and decided to move forward with J&R Construction. Best decision ever. He started immediately sending in a huge crew to basically gut the interior of our home and remove a fireplace located in the center of our home. During the process, Jay was very responsive and gave us periodic updates on the process. His team were there nearly every single day working on our home. We were astonished how everything progressed so quickly. Throughout the process, Jay uncovered issues that he recommended adding to the scope of work such as water re-piping and electrical. The galvanized water pipes were leaking and extremely old. Our electrical panel was poorly done by the previous owner. We didn't have to but decided to add it to the scope. As he finished re-piping the home, I received a notification from my home insurance that they would be cancelling my insurance due to the old water pipes unless proof was provided that it was replaced. Jay provided documentation just a couple days later for me to submit to Mercury Insurance. They then revoked the cancellation. Phew! Fast forward 3 months later, Jay and his team finished the following: Structural/layout changes, plumbing re-pipe, electrical re-wiring of the whole house, whole home HVAC, attic insulation, whole home flooring, kitchen cabinets, retrofit all windows, interior painting, exterior doors, interior doors, masterclass kitchen and bathroom tiling, and so much more. He turned our 3 bed 1.5 bath home into a 3 bed 2 bath with a master bath and closet. I don't think any contractor could have redesigned our home the way Jay did.. not even close! If you have a BIG project and want to do it right, I 1000% suggest you give Jay a call. You won't be disappointed.
