After working with Build Method on a big project (new ADU + updates to our main home), I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are honest, efficient, effective, and a joy to work with. You will not regret hiring them! read more

One of the most important things for us is the link between what was promised and what is delivered. I would say, overall, this experience was better than expected. If I had to rate the service on a scale of 10, it would be 10. Amir, the project manager, was punctual, respectful, and attentive to detail. Regarding quality and value, we are very happy with the amount we spent and the our new bathroom. The old adage, "you get what you pay for" is true. But, you don't need to "break the bank" to purchase quality and value. Build Method stayed on track despite issues we had with material supplied by third-party vendors. What we appreciated most was their level of communication. There existed a certain level of transparency that we appreciated. I would use them again, as a matter of fact, will probably do so when we remodel our kitchen sometime in 2027. read more

We worked with Build Method for a small remodel on our living room and guest room and it was hands down the best experience we've ever had with contractors. Amir was very communicative and always kept us up to date on what was going on and timelines. We ended up going back to build method for an iron fence install as well that was done so quickly and efficiently it was truly shocking. Will definitely be going back to them for any future work! read more

Amazing team, They took care of every step of my project with such smoothness i did not even have to check after them or go to the project they sent me photos and videos explaining everything. Would recommend to anyone read more

We initially contacted 4-5 different contractors to remodel our entire 3bd2ba 2200SF home including the kitchen, bathrooms, removing some structural walls, installing new windows and doors, updating exterior, etc. They were all very professional, accommodating, and even provided competitive estimates but we ended up landing on working with Orr and Build Method. Orr was very easy going and made us feel comfortable throughout the construction process. He always took the time to meet and talk with us through the process and would always provide his honest and reasonable opinions. They ran all the permits and took care of the project in the expected time frame. They provide good quality work and they're fast. We even had a few unexpected issues come up but Orr and his team were always there to help and do things right. I can't stress enough how much of a pleasure it was working with Orr and Build Method. They are always on your side and willing to help whenever they can. Shout out to Ryan for always being reliable and available to help too! Overall, we're super happy with how the house turned out. Very glad that we chose Build Method for our project and we will definitely be using them again in the future and referring them out to our friends and family. Thanks again to everyone at Build Method! read more

Absolutely the best. We gathered several bids for our Santa Monica remodel--a huge job, down to the studs, with new electrical, plumbing, etc. Build Method came in the most affordable by far, with a projected project timeline that was shorter by months than the other bids. We went with them, and we were extremely pleased. They finished on schedule and on budget. Orr was our main guy, and he was fantastic to work with. We're moving on to phase 2 of our remodel (garage and outdoor areas) and didn't hesitate for a minute to work with them again. One bit of advice: if Orr (or anyone else) says he has a guy who can get you a good deal (on appliances, fixtures, etc.)--go with his recommendation. His people get the best prices, and if there are any issues, he can fix them with one call. We did a little comparison shopping for things like appliances, and ultimately time and time again, Orr's guys got the best prices for everything. Work with Build Method... you won't be sorry! read more

Build Method did a major remodel on our home, including cosmetic, and major structural changes to the kitchen, laundry room, dining room and entryway. They did an excellent job, and we were very happy with the outcome. They were also very good about following up on touchups and finalizing the entire project. They are also very good at communicating, which was a big deal to us. We highly recommend them if you need a job done efficiently. read more

I already wrote a review for Build Method last year but I want to write a follow-up. Many new homes sometimes settle and mine did via a tiny crack in my new ceiling. I called Build Method since they said they have a one-year warranty and Adam came over to take a look. He said it was a very easy fix. At the same time, I also had some slight drywall bubbling from some rain leakage in a nearby bathroom that Build did NOT work on and Adam said, "You know what? Fixing that is actually the same as fixing this tiny crack so I'll just have my guy fix that too since he'll already be here with his equipment." Note that he DID NOT have to do that but he did. Whenever someone says they have a warranty plan, I'm immediately suspicious because I don't think they actually mean it. Well, Build Method actually DOES mean it. Like I said in my earlier review, I stated that Build Method is interested in building a lifelong relationship with you so that they are always the people you call for major home renovations. Build Method WILL do what they say and they will always do a terrific job. They are here for the long haul. While there are many other people you may consider calling, I strongly encourage you to hire Build Method for any of your major home renovation projects. They will always be around and you can always count on excellent customer service and a terrific end product. read more

Great quality work. I have worked with this team for about 10 projects now and they have always met my timelines. Highly recommended.

This review is from my own personal experience with Build Method Construction. Let be known that I am in the construction field as well, so I have a VERY good understanding of the entire process. Me and my wife decided to use a contractor not within my own client base. Our project was taking a horribly outdated 9 by 5 bathroom and turn it into a modern masterpiece. Build Method DELIVERED ! Orr was my GC and he was Fantastic. Perfect communication, on budget, on time and his crew worked everyday including Saturdays ! All the guys were great, sorry if I forgot the names, but Leo, Enrique and every other worker was kind, hard working and all around nice honest people. Danny was also great with all the business side of things such as invoicing and answering any questions I had. A little advise for all you potential clients reading these reviews, DO NOT HESITATE to call Build Method ! I will be calling Danny and Orr for the second time early next year to do a full kitchen renovation. These are my guys. They should be yours as well Craig and Liz, Studio City CA read more

We just completed a large renovation in our home that included complete remodels of 2 bathrooms, floors throughout the house, our entry way, kitchen countertops/backsplash, as well as our bonus room and we are so happy with not only how everything turned out but how easy Orr and his team made the process for us. Their work is done with care, the team is second to none, and you will not be surprised by any "got ya" moments. Orr always provided clear communication throughout the process and our proposal/bid was honored no matter what happened. I know it sounds cliche, but we truly felt that their goal was always to make sure we were really happy with the outcome. We can't say enough good things about their work, care, and professionalism. Thank you Orr and team for all the hard work and being so easy to work! We feel so grateful to have found you guys! read more

I used Build Method for my one of my investment remodel flips that just finished. 700Sf addition with a complete full home Reno. They were super responsive from the start and I was taken care of by PM Daniel Tal & GC Adam Strikowski. They took care of dealing with inspections, ordering materials, clean up constantly and an incredible timeline that really made the sell of my property easy. I would highly recommend these guys, super high end finish with a very detailed system when it comes to rough trades to correlate with my finished materials. Thank you Daniel, Adam, Danny, Edwin, Julio, Juan, Nick and Ryan for being the main crew to get my job completed in a timely manner. Much appreciated will definitely be using you again! read more

So I just bought a condo and was looking to remodel my powder room, master bedroom and bathroom as well as my kitchen. I was referred to this company by my cousin who spoke very highly of them. I know construction is a headache, but I've never felt more comfortable throughout the whole project. Adam and Orr, were able to help me design the whole project exactly how we envisioned. Apart from that they were able to make sure the site was always kept clean and sealed off from the rest of the house. Highly recommend this company! What an incredible experience! Build Method, specifically Orr and the team, provided a level of expertise & professionalism that is unrivaled. What can you expect working with Orr? Honesty, integrity, a man of his word, and the highest standards. Our project consisted of transforming a wing of our home into a 2 bds/2 bth guest house. During our initial walk-through, Orr listened and was receptive to our requests. He provided honest assessments of our project and a clear & concise scope of work along with the respective milestone schedule. Once our agreement was completed, he hit the ground running. He made sure crews were on-site and daily walk-throughs were done at the end of each day. Throughout the project, he provided valuable insight to help us maximize functionality and reduce costs where possible. Not only did he maintain constant communication but also went out of his way to make sure any concerns were answered quickly. Throughout the project, we always felt considered and a priority. Although our project has been completed, he's continued to follow through on every single commitment. The values and qualities that Orr holds not only earns the highest respect from his crew members but also from us, as extremely satisfied clients. More often than not, people have terrible experiences with home construction projects. Contractors overpromise and underdeliver, the job takes twice as long as it should, and you end up paying way over budget. Well, Build Method Construction has turned all of that on its head. Working with them was honestly one of the easiest and smoothest experiences I've ever had. They were responsive, helpful, responsible, and true to their word. Not only did they deliver what they promised, but they went above and beyond with excellent customer service and design advice we didn't even know we needed! Danny handled everything on the finance side promptly and transparently, and Orr was the nicest and most genuine contractor we've ever worked with. I want to buy another house just to work with Build Method Construction again. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Build Method was absolutely terrific to work with. Orr was thorough and thoughtful of all the little details of a garage reconstruction, offering terrific advice throughout the process. These guys are awesome! After having a few contractors come and give me a quote on my kitchen and master bath remodel, I knew I had to go with Build Method. Although their estimate was a little higher than the others, we instantly saw the value in them and were glad we did. Their project contractors Adam and Orr were fantastic, and were always willing to do whatever was needed. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends! -Dylan Sloate read more

My fiancé and I just moved to West Hollywood and it has been crazy during this pandemic. We met with Adam and Orr the general contractors that were assigned to my beautifully boned yet ugly home. I met with 4 other contractors and all of the other companies kept trying to sell me on a much bigger project and did not listen to my wants and needs. Adam & Orr listened to exactly what I wanted but were not hesitant to guide me in the right direction on what will work and what would be impossible with our budget. My project on a 3 decade old home required demolition, reframing, re-roofing, re-insulation, rewiring AC/lighting, redoing the entire HVAC, redoing drywall, etc. etc... Now that the project is done, I will not hesitate to recommend BMC, Orr, and his crew. Early this year I met up with a bunch of different companies and contractors. All of them came over all gave me similar quotes that were within 20% of each other, but I specifically picked BMC for several reasons: 1) Integrity. Plain and simple, Orr is a straight talking honest man. Many other contractors I talked to were non-stop talking salesmen. They were quite pushy and/or were all trying to upsell more and more, telling me "if you don't do this and that, you will get into trouble with the city!" There was even one guy that gave me the best quote (25% below everybody else) and he seemed very knowledgeable and experienced, but when he asked for the entire payment UP FRONT, I basically said no (it sounds a bit fishy). Integrity/honesty is the single biggest factor that I signed on with BMC. 2) Organization. Orr (and Danny) gave me a very detailed run down of the different stages of the process and their quotes, ON PAPER. Many of the other ones only committed verbally, and some dragged on their feet to commit the quotes on paper. 3) Communications. Orr is polite and responsive, and gets back quickly with text/call/email. Since I'm working a lot and not at the site to monitor the progress, he often updates me with progress. I'm super appreciative of that. 4) Flexibility. The old house threw us some surprise punches along the way (as is typical with really old homes) but Orr was able to roll with the punches and make creative changes along the way to push the project through. BMC meets all the criteria for being trustworthy, organized, experienced, and flexible. I would not hesitate to recommend BMC to others, and to have BMC come back again for my next projects. read more

I can't even begin to express my gratitude here. I was victim of a contractor trying to scam me. Long story--but they basically tried to scam me via "change of orders" to deprive me of my right to a 3 day cancellation period and then they began harassing and threatening me to no end. I'm talking about coming to my house and pressuring me for HOURS on end, threatening to put a lien on my house, and saying things like--"as a single mom with a young toddler, you should be careful about what can happen if we take this to court bc you'd lose your house or will bankrupt yourself." Yeah, it was like working with the mafia. In my state of pure fear, stress, and desperation...I reached out to Build Methold hoping to find someone who'd help me. I am forever grateful that I got Danny on the phone. He went above and beyond and was so compassionate to my current situation and gave me so much insight on what was happening to me, what my rights were as a client, and really took the time to educate me as best as he could. Let me tell you--he had two conversations with me and took the time to then tell me to be strong and to not let these scammers bully me any longer. So while, no...i haven't worked with this company to remodel my home, but my experience with them has shown me what kind of company they are. They have integrity and they are honest. And while the word of someone who was scammed may not carry that much weight, I wanted to provide a testimony to Danny and the company and really let people know that they are dealing with a company that is honest and respectful. When i get out of my mess and when I am ready to remodel--I won't hesitate to reach out to this company and Danny. Thank you so much! If anyone wants to reach out to me to find out the name of the unscrupulous company and salesman I worked with previously--please feel free to reach out to me. I will be reporting them so that they don't do this to anyone else! read more

Thank you Chris & the entire Build Method team! I called this company for a 1000 SF addition / Full home remodel. I just relocated to Beverly Hills and the house was in need of a major remodel and addition to accommodate my needs. Danny the owner was very responsive from the get go on setting up the GC to come out with my crazy schedule so thank you for working with me on that guys! Adam the general contractor/ designer was amazing and really became the Tom Brady of this project. Love this company! Made my move from Florida to Los Angeles so much smoother! I met with Adam when I opened escrow on my beautiful Brentwood home, he stood out from the other contractors we had come out with his overly detailed meeting that I immediately realized he was the man for the job. He stuck with me every step of the way with design meetings, FaceTime, zoom was no problem at all for their team. He completed a full home Reno with adding 1500 square feet both down stairs and upstairs. We had some time for the planning department to approve our plans so it gave my boyfriend and I time to get our belongings together and choose all of our beautiful finishes without any rush. Once we started the project they gave us a timeline of 4.5-5.5 months and we're done in 5!! Construction was always scary for me to get into, but this company made it a breeze! I'm so happy with the work, and all of the ups and downs were never a huge issue with Adam and the team. Well done Build Method! I couldn't give a higher recommendation to Orr, Adam, and the entire Build Method Construction team. We hired them to build a built-in desk and to repair some plumbing issues, and I truly believe they were the absolute best guys for the job. They got everything done quickly, patiently and thoroughly answered all of our questions, were respectful of our schedules, were always on time (oftentimes early), did everything with care, and left us with an outstanding finished product. In addition to being great contractors, they're also just really nice people. Everyone's super polite, kind, and genuine -- I can't say enough about Orr and Adam. They're considerate to the point where they'll ask if they should take off their shoes before entering your home. They answer text messages almost instantly. They always return a call and will come with you to pick out material. I know these things seem small, but little things like that go a long way. Like most businesses right now, I'm sure they've been hit hard during this pandemic. If you need any construction done, please consider hiring them. You won't be disappointed. I'm confident that we're going to be using them for years to come whenever we need work done in our house. read more
