Mike was friendly, professional and knowledgeable in his field upon our first consultation. The estimate was received in a timely manner. It was thorough and detailed - mapping out timelines, project inclusions/exclusions as well as the job description. Mike kept me up to date on the progress his team has made throughout the 3-month project. He is solution-oriented and was quick to problem solve when issues came up. He was very accommodating and collaborative in bringing my vision to life. I had a full demolition of the bathroom and kitchen remodel. (Recess lighting, new electrical rewiring, new flooring, custom cabinets and kitchen island, new plumbing, wood door exterior installation etc). Everything was done with future proofing in mind and up to code. The project was completed in a timely manner and ahead of schedule per estimate. I would highly recommend Four Seasons for your next project, it will be worth it!

Even before we closed on our house, I knew we wanted to work with Four Seasons Builders on our kitchen renovation. From our first meeting, I had nothing but confidence in (owner) Mike's integrity, expertise and attention to detail. He really got my vision for what I wanted the kitchen to be, and had great ideas that I never would have thought of. He was careful to go over everything with me, a first-time home buyer, so all of the steps were completely understood and agreed upon, always without making me feel like an idiot. His initial estimate included possibilities that might come up along the way that would change the scope and cost of the project, so there were no surprises. The estimate made it easy for me to see what materials I was responsible for buying and what materials were included in the price. It was a really simple way to keep track of the work and the timeline. The only change orders that increased the initial estimate were things that I added along the way because I changed my mind. Mike was very accommodating with these changes and incorporated them into the timeline easily. In fact, even with my added ideas, they still finished ahead of schedule. Their designer Natalie is exceptional. In just one conversation, she understood the look I was going for. She was able to translate that into a precise but easy to understand 3D design that was an extremely accurate representation of the end result. Everyone on the Four Seasons crew was amazing -- skilled, friendly, and respectful of our property. They cleaned up every day, all of the materials and large pieces from the demo were either removed or stored neatly out of the way. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure things got done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. They were all just nice people too -- one day I was parked on the street during our street cleaning time and they found me and reminded me to move so I didn't get a ticket. Such a sweet thing to do! Mike was on site on a regular basis to manage the project, and his guidance and input were valuable, making the final outcome even better than I thought possible. He anticipated a few things that could have developed into issues in the future, and was quick to find solutions. His level of communication was outstanding, always keeping me in the loop on things and helping with decisions on everything from tile to appliances. The whole process was fun and exciting, and I now have my dream kitchen, exactly as I'd imagined it. I can't say enough about how great the process was and how happy I am with the result. Mike and Four Seasons Builders are truly the best. I would (and have!) recommended them to anyone looking to do a remodel, and I'm excited to start planning our next project with them.

TLDR: You are probably in the same boat as us where you haven't had experience with a contractor to do remodeling, an addition, etc. So similar to other reviews here, if you want ease of mind regarding this significant investment, look no further. Mike and his team will strive to keep you well informed and in the middle of all the action as much or as little as you would like. He will provide you with alternatives when hiccups inevitably arrive, whether in the form of an inspector or a detail related to the placement of a pendant light. And he will ensure that the project will be on time or early to the best of his abilities. If not, you'll know well in advance what is causing the delays. Yes, you might pay a little extra compared to other contractors, but the level of customer service care is unbeatable. Even after project completion. For those of you who would like a more in depth review: We worked with Four Seasons Builders to remodel a 1940's home from a 2 bedroom 1 bath to a 3 bedroom 2 bath. The overall scope of work included, basically everything: - Demo - Updated electrical - Repipe/gas - New and updated drain systems - New guest bath, Master bath, master bedroom, and guest bedroom - New addition for dining and kitchen (including kitchen cabinets) and installation of all finishes - Drywall and interior paint - Exterior removal and new stucco and paint - Rip out baseboards and install new laminate - Insulation in walls of existing home, replacement of roof insulation - New windows and doors - Add HVAC (none in original home) - Demo non-permitted garage storage area - Window sills/mouldings - Ethernet drops The only things we probably didn't include was adding a pool and a second story. With that said, Mike was never hesitant about his team's ability to deliver on any one of these items and he gave us a 5-6 month project timeframe. Due to the city permit office being behind, we had to wait quite awhile before permits were issued at no fault of Four Seasons Builders. All along the way Mike kept us informed of what we could do to help move things forward while also having his own team checking in with the applicable contacts. We ended up starting work on the house in July and ended in time to spend Christmas in our new place. During that time we went on vacation(s) as did Mike, but whether he was around or not we would get updates regarding how the house was progressing. We would also stop by often to provide feedback if we had questions regarding what was being done or if an outlet looked out of place. Mike welcomed the hands-on feedback and encouraged us to be another set of eyes to ensure we had the same vision come to fruition. Texts would be answered promptly and usually a photo(s) or video(s) were also sent along as Mike would frequently visit the site. All of this boiled down to having a fairly stressful and financially significant situation becoming a rather enjoyable experience. Don't get me wrong, it was still great to be done with everything, but Mike will make sure to help guide you along each step of the way. Mike strives to leave you with the best possible solutions to make your home the way you'd like to have it, so don't be worried to jump in and take part of the entire process. Hopefully we won't be doing any significant work again in the near future, but when we do, we'll definitely call up Mike again in a heartbeat.

Four Seasons Builders should be your go to contractor for your next project. They did a great job transforming our room into a perfect work from home space and rec room. Everything was done with the planned timeline and budget. Mike, the owner does a great job communicating and making sure ALL your questions are answered. He is available through text and a call anytime! You always hear about contractors not answering their phone or difficult to work with but Mike is different. Any imperfections or changes can be talked through and worked out. While doing any sort of project, things always come up and change and he made the process smooth. The crew did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

Working with Mike and his crew was wonderful from start to finish. They helped us envision so much for our house that we would have never thought possible, did the work extremely well, and got it done quickly. We stayed in constant communication and every detail was discussed. I never felt out of the loop or like we were caught of guard by prices as we kept the lines of communication open at all times. I couldn't be happier with how our home turned out and would recommend Mike to anyone who needed a contractor. He was a true professional!

Just completed my renovation with Four Seasons and I couldn't be happier!!! When I started this journey to renovate my entire 1100 sq ft. condo, I asked a few friends if they would recommend their contractors and they either said "no" or hesitated to give me an answer. I ended up taking my chances on yelp and interviewed 5 contractors. When I met Mike Litman (owner), I immediately had a good vibe about him. And while all 5 contractors were contenders, my instincts were telling me that he would be the best to work with. Well, my instincts were absolutely spot-on!!! Mike is THE BEST!! He estimated about 3 months for my condo and completed the project on time. I had moved out during the remodel so Mike was there almost every day checking up on his workers and the progress. His communication on the progress was excellent! He continuously kept me informed either by text, phone or in person. He would send me pictures (or even videos) during the day on some of the work...even while I went on vacation for a week. He also made me feel comfortable to ask questions, requests and changes. And while he admits he's not a designer, he helped suggest a couple of things based on his own experience. (Side note: I didn't hire a designer but I wish I did to ease some of the constant decision making for this size of a project). Sure, unexpected issues came as with any remodel. And in a condo, there are unique challenges dealing with the HOA and ensuring the neighbors aren't affected, but through it all, Mike was so patient with the challenges and handled things with a lot of professionalism. He even handled a problem with my permits and was able to resolve it quickly with minimal delay. And most importantly...Mike made sure that I was satisfied with the work. When I pointed at mistakes or where some of the work requires slight adjustments, Mike made sure it was to my satisfaction. Great job by all the workers as well!!! In the beginning, it was honestly nerve-racking trusting a total stranger to take on the biggest project I've ever done in my own home. But I'm so glad I did and I'm glad that I had Mike and Four Seasons steering the way. I posted pics (including before and afters) so enjoy!

    WHERE THE RATS CAME FROM
    Jessica C.

I had a rat-shaped issue that would not go away due to a hole behind my kitchen cabinet, and that was when I decided the kitchen remodel of my dream was finally in order. I found Mike after an extensive internet search, and it didn't take long before I knew he was the one. His years of experiences were reflected in his thoughtful responses. His care and attention to detail were evident from his conduct. During our first meeting, we talked for over an hour. Unlike other GCs I had met who mostly went with what I had in mind, I loved that Mike gave me a ton of ideas on appliance placement and layout recommendations that I hadn't thought of before. Mike wasn't the cheapest, but he was the most earnest. His estimates were spot on and we barely had three change orders of minor amounts and most of them were due to a change of heart on my part. Even with the change orders, he managed to finish the project a whole month ahead of schedule for a three-month-long project. Aside from Mike and his own aura of awesomeness, he had a crew of highly competent workers that are respectful, diligent, and dedicated. They worked tirelessly 6 days a week, from 8am to 6pm. My remodel, which was really a total rebuild of a third of my house, was extensive: Two load bearing walls removed, two ceiling beams installed, concrete poured, two headers installed for new exterior openings, three shear walls installed, plumbing and HVAC re-routed, and countless electrical circuits added. While all of this was happening, I continued living in the same house and enjoyed my normal amenities, except for my kitchen and laundry. With the exception of one day when it was just boring ol' drywall sanding, Mike was on-site every single day. He was always around to monitor progress and kept me closely apprised of what to expect next and any unexpected issues. I had a lot of questions about the details of their work, and he always patiently answered them even if they were in the "nice-to-know" territory. I still can't believe how much he put up with me throughout this project to this day. From the get go, I made a point to Mike that sealing holes to prevent future rodent intrusion was of the utmost importance to me, as that was what had set this whole project in motion. I shared my experiences with the rats and how they had robbed me of my sanity. Sure, he laughed at my paranoia and my hyperbolic reactions, but he took my worries to heart and instructed his employees to be extra attentive to closing up gaps prior to wrapping up for the day and accommodating us to install metal plates around plumbing and electrical holes to deter rodent entry. His thoughtfulness and warmth opened a door to an unlikely friendship, bonding over our overwhelming need for perfection. To date, I continue to go to Mike for consults on everything home-related. For example, I bought a new rug for my living room the other day and asked him what he thought of it; if anyone I knew with a good sense of aesthetics and style were to give me honest feedback, it would be Mike (he still tells me my kitchen paint color choice was crap).

I wanted my kitchen remodeled. I had 4 different general contractors give me estimates before Mike. All suggested new cabinets/pre fabricated, Mike was the only one suggested to reface my existing cabinets. And you can see the results. I saved money got a new counter top. Looks like a new kitchen. To my surprise there was no mess because most of the work was done at the shop. With the money we save we are going have Four Seasons do our bathroom this upcoming August instead of next year!

    Fireplace-BEFORE

Mike with Four Season's Builders did an excellent job with an EXTENSIVE remodel on my 1920s build home. The scope of work was huge including: - Full kitchen remodel, including tearing down walls, building new peninsula - Turning a 1/2 bath + closet into a beautiful FULL bath - Creating a new 2nd master suite - Master bathroom complete remodel - Installing ALL NEW recessed lighting through the entire house - All new electrical - Fixing old plumbing - Painting the entire interior There was a lot more but I honestly can't list it all... The point is, whatever size project you have, Mike can handle it. I had ZERO remodeling experience prior to reaching out to Mike and I was super nervous to take on such a large project. He was prompt and responsive, answering texts/phone calls constantly. If you need it, he will hold your hand and walk you through every step, but if you know exactly what you want, he will be happy to help you achieve that as well. He even helped us pick out our tile, countertops, etc. I like that he will offer his opinions but is never pushy at all. He will go along with whatever your personal design choices are while still guiding you in your moments of indecision. For our project, he suggested great design ideas, changing the layout of the old, compartmentalized house to maximize space and freshen everything up. I really could not be happier with how everything turned out! Check out my before/after photos!

Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

He has a genuine passion for old buildings and pushed to preserve original details that another contractor would have torn out without a second thought. That instinct matters when you're working on something irreplaceable. Ken managed the project more quietly but kept things moving. From the moment I first sat down with Eyal Weizman of MDRN Construction, I knew he would be my…read morechosen contractor for my kitchen remodel. We seemed to speak the same aesthetic language and he quickly and enthusiastically whipped up a rendering of what my kitchen might look like. He was also very sensitive to and willing to do great work within my budgetary constraints. I immediately knew I would be in good hands. My kitchen remodel was for a very narrow space that had had a double electric oven and a big fancy gas range. The old cabinets, which were solid wood, had likely been there since the house was built in the 50s. An unfortunate water leak did major damage to the wood floor and seeped into the 2 layers of asbestos-laden linoleum underneath. Due to the need for asbestos remediation as required by my insurance (and the law), I was literally forced to see my entire kitchen torn out to the studs -- cabinets, appliances, floors and all. Enter MDRN Construction - after unsatisfactory experiences with the contractors my insurance had set me up with, I finally realized I must choose my own. In short, MDRN came in on-time and on-budget. Any out-of-line costs beyond the original estimate were due to major upgrades or amenities that I asked for on my own, with absolutely no arm-twisting from the contractor or his crew. For example, we were needing to upgrade the electrical in order to accommodate new all-electric and induction appliances, as well as replace the floor complete with framing and subflooring. I therefore also opted for raising the floor in the (sunken) kitchen annex to have it all be on the same level and to move the new commodious refrigerator in there. This upgrade also involved raising the exit door to the side yard and creating new concrete steps to the outside. Even with this extra work, MDRN still came in on time, though at the outer rather than the inner range of their estimated time frame (three months instead of two). I also have nothing but high marks to give the various crews that did the work, from demolition to electrical to cabinetry, to plumbing, dry wall construction, painting, and tile flooring. Everyone that came to my house, as Eyal promised, was a pleasure to be around and highly professional -- efficient and meticulous. The Ukrainian-born cabinet installation crew (in-house to MDRN), especially, were master carpenters and the finished product with solid wood exteriors is a showpiece. And absolutely everyone graciously pitched in when something extra was required, like hoisting my giant new refrigerator through the only possible square opening in the kitchen wall when the delivery guys couldn't possibly handle it themselves. Eyal came by frequently to check whether everything was going smoothly and what was still needed. And the most consistent presence was his assistant construction manager, Bardia, for whom no task or issue was too large or too small. He handled everything in a timely manner with ease and aplomb. If you're looking for excellent work, excellent client relations, honesty and efficiency, and a great aesthetic partner to work with, then MDRN is a terrific choice. The only advice I would give anyone who plans to live in their home while any pretty major construction is going on, is to stay on top of the daily dust-prevention and cleanup. As great as the workmen are, this is not always their topmost priority. The photos are of the "to the studs" space in the transition phase and my wonderful new kitchen.

Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Our project manager Tamir was exceptional -- responsive, organized, and clearly invested in the quality of the work. He kept the job moving at a surprisingly fast pace and promptly resolved issues as they arose. Pricing was competitive -- we got multiple estimates and Way To Go came in reasonable without cutting corners. You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Our pool cleaner gave high praise on the resurfacing work when he arrived for the first cleaning! Highly recommend for anyone looking to transform their outdoor space -- quality work, fair pricing, and a timeline that'll surprise you.

The remodel included changing the old plaster to mini pebble, installing new tile, adding a new LED pool light, and doing the deco seal around the pool. The finish came out great and it completely refreshed the look of the pool. Once all the materials were ordered and ready, the actual work was completed in about a week, which I was really happy about. Tamir kept everything organized and the crew stayed on schedule. I also appreciated that he was able to accommodate a couple of last-minute additions I requested during the project and made sure everything was taken care of. The crew did solid work and the pool looks great now. I'm happy with how everything turned out and would recommend Way To Go Builders if you're planning a pool remodel.

Three of those projects were on a 1920s Spanish triplex, where we modernized all the units while preserving its original character, including converting a three-car garage into an ADU. We also fully renovated a mid-century ranch duplex and are currently converting its garage into another ADU. Gary's extremely easy to work with, communicative, reliable, and cares about the quality of his work. He'll give you his professional opinion when needed, but he listens to what you want and never tries to push his preferences over yours. His subs are solid, his pricing is reasonable, and he's always been accommodating when little extras come up outside the original scope. After five projects together, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Finding a contractor you trust and actually enjoy working with isn't easy, and that's why I keep hiring him.

He is a competent professional and trusted contractor with a solid team of subcontractors who have been doing this work for decades. With this renovation, we brought our 1912 Craftsman bungalow down to the studs. This was a full-gut renovation that involved replacing all mechanicals, drywall, new bathrooms, new kitchen and doing a primary bath addition. With Gary's construction expertise, we were able to restore the home while maintaining its original charm and bring our design to life. Some of Gary's many contributions included framing a new tray/drop ceiling, installing custom window and door casings to match the originals. He also rebuilt the front porch railings and reinforced the porch ceiling so it would accommodate a porch swing. He built our backyard studio shed in just a couple days and it's adorable. While nearly everything is new, you can't tell. And that is a compliment to the quality of craftsmanship. Gary doesn't cut corners and it shows. It is very important that you trust your contractor and that they have integrity and do what they say they are going to do. Experience is also very important. Gary has all of this. We will definitely be calling Gary for the next house we buy. We can't recommend him enough.
