My mom and I received a gift cards to this salon. I gave mine to my mom so she could go twice. Each time she has gone in, has been a horrible experience. The first time she went with my sister and I. I came in saying I did not need a manicure. We asked to sit together and got an attitude. We were separated and my mom was put in a section where people constantly walked into her and pushed her chair. She went to use the second gift card. It had expired so we went in previously to ask if this would be ok. We were told no problem. She went in with the gift card and was given an attitude by 3 separate technicians. She stated we were previously told it was ok it was expired. Finally they said they would honor the card. The manicure was rushed and she was under the dryer within 10 minutes. The technicians kept looking directly at my mother and then laughing at her. There was residual polish around her nails but my mother was so embarrassed she just fixed it at home. There has not been one good experience at this salon and honestly, they only got a star because they were willing to honor an expired gift card. read more

Place is usually busy so you kinda get tossed around to different people. The owner is really nice, for a $12 pedicure you can't go wrong!

I used to love this place and i've been going here for about a year I never thought i would be putting up a bad review bc they've always treated me great but let's get right to the point. I went to the place with no appointment in the morning in hopes of them taking me because prom was in a few days and they took me right away which was great (they are usually packed). The women who did my toes was great but the women who asked me what i wanted for my tips for my fingernails i had shown a picture and asked in perticular how much the length of that exact picture and design of that EXACT picture would be and she said $50. So i wasn't too surprised by that number considering it was a little sparkle on each nail and i was getting a new set of tips. after she had put on the tips and began to cut them she asked if a certain length was okay and i said yes that's perfect because i want them really long for prom. She then said no to me and i asked what was wrong and she said they were too long. I said no that's the length i want them and she insisted that they were too long. After going back and fourth with this nail technician she decided to make up some price that EACH nail I REPEAT EACH NAIL would be an extra $5 if i kept them the slightest bit longer so i said that's ridiculous but I really needed my nails done because prom was around the corner and i wasn't paying an extra $50 to keep my bails the length i want because that would just be stupid so i said fine keep them whatever length will keep the price JUST $50 so she cut them to her liking and I was pissed. Now i really wanted a specific shape and the women also told me her take on that shape and said that it looks best the way she was doing it. (it did not match the picture and i told her repeatedly i wanted a different shape) I'm not one to be picky but i told the girl so many times that this is prom and i wanted a specific look to my nails and she just wouldn't listen to me i'm very unhappy and i know it's only nails but i was not pleased. One more thing there was a hair on one of my nails as it was under the light and i asked her plenty of times if she could get it off before the gel polish dried and she kept dismissing me and working on other nails this just added to my frustration. And the last time i mentioned it her exact words were that "you've told me a lot" and gave me attitude and then she continued working on my other nails. I would have taken the hair off of the nail myself but i would've ruined my other nails bc they weren't dry yet. I went last night and I woke up not really liking the color I choose & because I am going away and I'm crazy with my nails I called to see if they can get me in early AM and she was willing to come in 30 mins early for me ! I waited over 40 minutes to get a new acrylic gel set. I understand waiting considering it was busy and a Friday but 40 minutes is very long. The lady I got was very slow, and it wasn't even like she was doing a good and efficient job, she placed the tips down crooked and tried pushing me to get them longer. She got the gel polish on my shirt, and spent 40 minutes on the crooked nails until she even started painting the actual nail. I had to be somewhere at a certain time and asked how much longer it would take but gave me and my friend a dirty look and said 20 minutes left. The nails were crooked, bumpy, ripples in it, and the nail polish was clear even though I asked her to apply an extra coat of nail polish. I was about to pay and told my friends mother that I was very disappointed in the nails so she showed the owner and the owner/ lady in charge was very sorry about it and took me back to fix one of the nails that were totally see through. Several other workers were nice to me and made sure my nail was fixed even though they were all messed up but I already spent over an hour and 45 minutes so I decided to say everything was good. My original nail lady was very rude about it and kept giving dirty looks as I waited for the nail polish to dry and made me feel uncomfortable. I know they do amazing jobs on other peoples nails, and do amazing designs but I think my nail lady was just not good at all. I hate to use names, but the name of my lady was Coco and would honestly not recommend her, even my friend before I went in said "I hope you don't get Coco she was rude to me and did a bad job." but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, and I had no choice for anyone else since everyone was taken. I don't plan on going there any time soon, and if I do I am NOT getting Coco and wouldn't recommend her for Acrylics, gel or gel powder. I hope next time they do a better job and beyond my expectations. I will be going to Jin family nails right down the street which although are more on the pricey side, NEVER mess up anything and always high quality and worth the money you pay. I was super skeptical coming here since I'm a firm believer of "you pay for what you get" and the prices here are pretty reasonable (25 for a gel acrylic fill in, 35 for a new set). Now I can say I have been coming here for about 5-6 months now and I can definitely recommend this place! Some of the guys rush the nail jobs and it seems like they just want to get you out and move on to the next but Lucy and Angela are so great!! I've been coming here for almost 2 years and I think I'm officially done. If you come here when it's even the slightest bit busy there are never enough staff or chairs to accommodate everyone. Even when you do make an appointment they don't take in customers equally. If you have been coming here and spend an exorbitant amount of money each time they treat you like royalty. But if you are looking to get a regular or even gel manicure/pedicure good luck. Their "regulars" rule the salon and will be taken quicker than you, over you, and treated better than you. Today I came in and waited at a manicure station for 15 minutes until someone finally came over and then proceeded to give me the quickest and sloppiest gel manicure. Followed by me waiting for 25 minutes to be given a pedicure chair while a daughter of a "regular" was taken before me even though I had waited first. I then got the absolute worst pedicure and then was rushed into a drying chair where I smudged my big toe while being pushed down to the chair. I was then berated for doing so and asking for it to be fixed. Wrote this while my toes were being dried with freezing cold air as usual. I only return for the cheap prices but honestly you are better off going to a more expensive place and getting what you pay for. I had to learn the hard way unfortunately. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. This place should be reported to the better business bureau. I have been a loyal customer here for almost 2 years and I'm honestly not sure why. They do a mediocre job and rush you out. But today I realized that the workers in this place are actually pure evil. I came in and asked for a french gel manicure and pedicure. It was the end of the day and I heard 2 of the girls laughing and complaining about me in korean because I asked for french and I guess they had a problem with that? Like this is a nail salon isn't it? I tipped them far too well as I always do for the job that they did and felt that they were rushing and my nails did not come out good at all for the price that I paid for them. I never complain and am always nice and courteous. I left and went in my car and about a minute later i saw something splash on the back of my car as I was still parked in the lot. I didn't think anything of it at first but when I got home I looked at my car and saw what was 100% white nail polish splattered all over my car!!! Like what kind of worker would do something like that for no reason at all it makes no sense. Now the paint on my car is messed up and he white polish smudged everywhere. I am going to file a formal report against this place and should actually sue them for damages to my car. I still cant believe anyone would do such a thing.
