Let me start by saying I have been coming here for the past 5 years. I have gotten to know Mary very well. Their powder gel is $35. This include 2 coats of color, for an extra coat it is an extra $5!!! The color used for powder gel are are only $13.50, which means for an extra coat you're paying for almost half of the entire powder that they purchase from their supplier. On top of that, I wanted to get a pedicure, but instead of them being happy I was giving them service, Arvin grunted as if it was an issue and I was a bother. After 5 years I have wanted to switch nail places multiple times, but this was the cherry on top, and I will officially be going elsewhere. read more

I'll make this quick because I'd rather not even waste my time with a review but I feel bad for anyone that comes here. - workers have a serious attitude and try to make you feel like an idiot - they rush you and it seems like it's because they seem experienced but no they're rushing you for you to leave - their prices seem low until they stack up random prices for things and then lie about certain prices to get you to come then make you pay more. Um scam??? - their work does not last at all. Acrylic tips last about 3-4 DAYS that's it. They are not clean, experienced or anything of the like. Don't waste your money here. read more

I really love how affordable, polite and quick the service is. I usually would get my acrylic sets and fill-ins in Brooklyn when I would go because the prices are so low in brooklyn and the quality is so good. I go to Stony Brook and the same nail sets with lower quality would cost at least 30-35$ compared to 20-25. I was surprised to find this place by my house where the price for a full set is $25 and a fill in is 15. I am very happy with my nails and nail technician Leo is great! Since my last experience here was terrible I thought maybe the girl was just new who did my toes and nails. Today I go back in to find out they charge an additional 5$ for 3 coats of powder gel (which they never did before) and an additional 5 to put a sparkle on ONE NAIL. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, my nails look terrible, the man rushed. None of them are even, their is powder color all over my fingers and he couldn't get it off, maybe if he did a better job I would've left with a nice manicure. Never again read more

I am not the person at all to leave reviews, ever!! But today they really pissed me off... I used to come here all the time then my nail girl left(Sophie) and all the other good people so I stopped going... I gave it a few months and I got a pedi the last time 2 times.. the first time I came back when I got a pedi she did it then I saw there was black dots in the nail polish.. I told her and she just painted over the black dots.. didn't even remove the color and repaint it on only 2 toes... lazy then I was there 2 weeks ago it was a Saturday I understand it was busy I waited a half hour for a pedi but they took a lady that was waiting after me because I was with a friend she thought it would be nice for us to sit next to eachother.. when I sat down my friend was done already!! So today I go back to try their powder gel again ... I always used to get 2 base coats of the powder and I told the girl Kelly today.. she tried to charge me $5.. I told her they never charged me for that before and she saw that I got mad so she started laughing at me..so, I pretty much told her off... this also happen another time with the girl Ella when I used to have acrylic tips... this place uses all cheap products they are ONLY good for their $12 pedis even if that.. This nail salon was horrible! I got a pedi and an acrylic fill in. This nail salon puts money over customer service. As soon as you walk in it's like an assembly line instead of a day of pampering. I felt very rushed to choose a color. As I was getting my pedicure done the nail girl comes over and starts filing off my nail color and cutting them while I'm sitting in the pedicure chair . Never have I been to a salon where they did my nails WHILE I was getting my pedicure. You can tell they wanted customers in and out as quick as possible. After my pedicure I moved over to the nail chairs for the girl to finish my acrylic fill in. She used a very thin layer of acrylic, again it looks like they were trying to use the least amount of product possible to save money. My nails look/feel very thin compared to how they normally look/feel. After I paid I tipped my nail girl but didn't have enough cash to tip the pedicurist so I was going to go to the 7/11 next door to get cash back. On my way out the owner stops me and tells me I didn't tip the pedicurist. I'm sorry but I thought a tip was optional, I have never been asked for a tip. I will never come back here again. After I got home I saw what a terrible job was done on my toe nails. I will never come back to this salon ever! Very unprofessional and they clearly prioritize money over customers. Came once. Will not come again. I got an SNS manicure and regular pedicure. Every 30 seconds the lady doing my manicure got up to check and see how other workers were doing...so annoying! She left a ton of space at the top of my nails so it looked like I hadn't had them done in two weeks when I just had them done. She then put me with someone else for a pedicure who painted my nails without my flip flops on and then tried to put them on after when my nails were still wet so of course she scuffed two and when I told her, she said it's okay and left them. This is my first negative yelp review and needed to happen. My mother and I have gone here every two weeks for over a year and the quality of the nails is usually decent, but the workers are the worst I've ever dealt with. Mani and pedi cost $18 and pedicure alone is $12. The prices are great.. and the spa pedicures which run about $35-$65 are all amazing......sometimes I do feel rushed when I go to this salon on The weekends... This place has gone downhill recently. They started to charge extra for more coats of powder gel polish ($5 more for 3 coats instead of 2), when it all used to be the same price up until recently. The price increase is also NOT posted anywhere. The powder gel manicures last less than 2 weeks, especially with only the 2 coats of powder for an already pricy $30. I will definitely be taking my business to one of the many other local nail salons who do a better job without a new up charge. read more

every time i say i'm done with this place i go back and give it another time, but this time i think i am officially done. i came in on a thursday afternoon and it looked very busy but of course Mary said no stay and placed me in a pedicure chair. I was there for fifteen minutes and could not wait any longer so i got up to leave, of course someone came running to me. then i noticed a color on someone i liked, i said to mary that i would do that one. she said that's gel powder i said no thanks and she forced me upon it. when i told her i did not want it she got extremely agitated. I don't understand what that five dollar difference for powder would do for her but okay. Mary got extremely rude with me and told me they were trying to be fast because i said i was in a rush. i never stated i was in a rush but after fifteen minutes of waiting i grew impatient. i will never go back. i feel like if you don't walk in there with a name brand purse you don't get the same treatment as those that do. FUNGUS ALERT!!! I've never had a nail fungus in my life, at least that is until I came here. They do not clean their drill bits in between customers so if the person before you had a fungal infection on their nails you will get it just like I did. Do not go here. dont think ill be coming back here, went in to get my acrylics taken off and to get gel, i had an appointment i was sat in the chair and waited 40 min until someone came to help me, the guy filed down my acrylics and burned literally every single one of my fingers, then i waited another 20 min and someone came back with a tray and then 10 min later i was moved to a different station for my nails to get done, keep in mind this was a Wednesday afternoon. I know a bunch of people who come here regularly so I went in today to get a gel manucure. It was packed, which says good things. It was extremely affordable - $23 for my manicure. I was not thrilled with the look/feel of the place. I did not see them rip open the sterile tools packet like I usually see at other nail salons. The manicure was a little rough at the edges. Came in 30 mins early for my appointment. I was given a book to pick my color. I wanted the same as last time I was there. As soon as I started I was rushed to start. They kept asking me to pick a color. I said I wanted what I had on again. They couldn't find it and said I never got that color there.... I said let me look. I get up and I was told to sit down bc there was a walk in waiting. My appointment was 10 I came in at 9:30! It was only 9:45! I had an appointment why are you rushing me. The owner picked a color FOR me and pushed me to use it when I repeatedly said I didn't like it. I was short on time and couldn't leave since I had a babysitter waiting for me. Needless to say I got a color I didn't want I was rushed my nails were all different lengths. They treat you like you are doing them a favor by going there. I've paid for the same exact service (uv gel tips). I tried to get my money back and the woman was NASTY and probably yelled so loud the whole salon heard. She also tried to convince me that the services I had gotten all this time were different from the one I paid on this day. This is the best place for a pedicure! I'll start with the message chairs they are amazing and refresh your back.Great for arthritis . It alone is worth the money.They have so many employees there is never a wait. The color choice is the largest I have seen!.I make an appointment and ask for Wendy as I am older and she makes me feel comfortable and does an amazing job . All the employees speak to you in English which is gratifying as some places don't talk to you at all.Even though they are busy she never rushes. I prefer to go on Monday when it isn't so busy. My mom and I received a gift cards to this salon. I gave mine to my mom so she could go twice. Each time she has gone in, has been a horrible experience. The first time she went with my sister and I. I came in saying I did not need a manicure. We asked to sit together and got an attitude. We were separated and my mom was put in a section where people constantly walked into her and pushed her chair. She went to use the second gift card. It had expired so we went in previously to ask if this would be ok. We were told no problem. She went in with the gift card and was given an attitude by 3 separate technicians. She stated we were previously told it was ok it was expired. Finally they said they would honor the card. The manicure was rushed and she was under the dryer within 10 minutes. The technicians kept looking directly at my mother and then laughing at her. There was residual polish around her nails but my mother was so embarrassed she just fixed it at home.
