I was waiting in the area for a appointment and had some time to kill so I decided to get a manicure here. Worst decision! Place was small but not clean. I overlooked that because the ladies were so nice. Let me just say the lady that did my manicure had to do it 3 times because everytime she put me under the door to dry my nails the fan in it would blow the polish, so it would look like my polish was smeared. My nail tech Tracy, who I've been religiously going to for 10+ years at a previous salon, and her sister in law Annie are the new owners! I don't know what the old salon looked like but they redid the entire place ceiling to floor and it looks amazing! All new pedicure chairs, tables, chairs, everything! This salon is always packed too, that's how you know a business is booming! Tracy is the best, my nails always look amazing because of her, and my manicures always last a long time thanks to her recommendation on products. They have a rewards program to get you free services and money off over time, so if you do plan on coming here religiously, I suggest getting a reward card on your first visit! Quality is excellent. Prices are good. The ladies are kind and friendly. They remember your name which is always a nice touch. It's is small and not fancy but very clean and comfortable. They are always busy yet they are great on scheduling. I used to have a preferred manicurist but I've allowed the other girls and they are all great so I no longer request. I started coming here in July of last year, not thinking that I would leave my previous nail salon for good. But after my first experience at Han's nails, I haven't stepped foot in any other nail salon since. They have always been so nice, welcoming and accommodating. I've had a few of the techs for pedicures, and they've all been great. Tracy is my go-to for nails, and I love her! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been going to Tracy for over a year now. She is never pleasant, never says hello and essentially just grunts at her customers. Her attitude is unwarranted, but I tolerated it as she did a decent job. Today, not even that happened. I went in today to get my nails done for my WEDDING this weekend, which I said several time. Not even a congratulations or anything. I asked for a white pedicure with sparkles on my big toe. You would think I asked for something outrageous. Chloe could not handle the simple task and asked me to wait for Tracy to be done with my manicure. I got powder dip. She did not properly remove my previous color, and it can be seen on multiple nails. God forbid she took the extra 5 seconds to wipe my nails with remover. I also asked for a design on my middle and ring fingers to which she used stickers for. Fine, no issue, except that she did not make sure there were enough of the same images and the corresponding nails do not match. On top of that, the sticker on my RING finger, which will be in every photo, has an air bubble and red from the previous color. When getting finished with this disaster, I asked about my toes and she told me no because she didn't want to do it As simple as that. When reaching out after, being so upset and disappointed, she made the statement, "You think it's all our fault. Fine." I'm sorry, but who else's fault would it be? She is the one that did my nails, not me. Disgusted by her behavior and I suggest you go elsewhere. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I've been going here for years and have been extremely happy with with my nail tech. However, since the new owners have taken over it has become a trainwreck. The so-called manager Tracy, is cold and unfriendly throughout to every customer that walks in there. The other manager, Annie, has to make up for Tracy's lack of friendliness to a point where it is almost too much. Because of the negative experiences I have had recently, I have decided to switch nail salons despite liking my nail tech. Tracy should not work in customer service. What a shame. read more

the woman Luci did an amazing job on my gel manicure and spa pedicure. She did such a nice foot and back massage that I asked for an extra ten minutes. I went on a Wednesday early afternoon so it was quiet and she was able to take her time. it was very relaxing and the gentlemen Michael was very nice to talk with also. I love this place. I've been coming here for over a year and have been getting my nails done with Anna. She's so sweet and really takes her time with your nails. I've gotten regular manicures, gel manicures, pedicures, back massages, and everything has always been wonderful. I've really built a friendship with Anna and always recommend her to anyone that i can. I know that some of the reviews are negative and i can't speak for the quality of work of the other na technicians but if you come and Anna is available, definitely go with her. read more

Terrible experience getting a manicure here today- while it was busy, I can't understand why...the only thing somewhat decent of this place are their updated furniture and quilted chairs, other than that- the service is horrific. My manicure was done at 4:15...Suki did my nails and hardly cut my cuticles, when she did cut them, she only cut the left side and not the right, and when painting my nails, she missed half my nails on the sides and put tons of nail polish that when I got to the dryer, my nails were so wet that the air messed them up. When she went to re-do the nails that got ruined, she half assed the job and didn't even put a base coat and it's hours later and my nails are still wet and streaky and it looks like a 10 year old did them. My cuticles are sticking out- it's as though I didn't even get them done "professionally". While I'm not a regular there, clearly- desperate times called for desperate measures, but had I known the outcome, I would not have waited the 20 minutes I did for what should have been a basic easy manicure. WHAT HAPPENED! NEW OWNERS.. UGHHH If I could give NO stars, I would. Not impressed at all. I LOVED the old owners but the new ones did a horrible job on my gel nails. I gave them 4 shots and finally gave up. The last time was the quincher. Dont make an appointment and have me come in at the time I was supposed to and they TAKE SOMEONE before me (that had no appointment) and made me wait 1 HOUR! Meanwhile he is telling me 10 min, 10 min. I looked at the lady and saw she was getting gels and I said "this is going to be an hour!" I was fuming sitting there waiting! Why make an appointment!??? The place was slow too, not like he couldnt pass the lady to someone else. I was a regular from the previous owners.. was using the previous owner for 3 yrs. That was the final straw for me. The workmanship is horrible. Nails were filed uneven on EVERY part that should be even. I even pointed out one nail that was totally filed sideways and then he is pushing my straight finger, telling me my finger was not straight. ??? that was a 1st!! Not only that, the nails were not filed on top evenly. I had to go back 3 times to have nails fixed due to their errors. Then they say "free fix", UMM.. it should be free! Its not my fault the workmanship sucked. Since they sold to the new owners now, this place has gone down. WONT be going back ever again. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go somewhere else Now I am going to another place local and I have been for the past 6mths and so far, I am super happy. They are even less money then Hans. and they DONT charge me for a back rub when getting my nails done. In Hans, they touch your back for 2 seconds and is like "10 min massage"? (even using a TIMER..LOL) they then charge you $10 for something that USED to be free yrs ago (in most places it still is free).. whats up with the charging now? My new place, it is FREE (weather it is 10 min or 30 or whatever) and a few times, they massaged me the entire hr I was there. Yea so the other reviews basically say it all. I had gone a couple of times and the younger girls were fantastic, they didn't push you to get waxed or get massages, but the past two times I got Lucy and the guy/ owner. He was AWFUL to say the least. He cut my skin with the rotating file they use to file tips and remove gel within the first minute I was in his chair, thanks to his being distracted by God knows what, and he filed my nails so unevenly I had to ask him to correct it multiple times. They still look uneven. Go somewhere else. I know I will read more

Wish I could write this with 0 stars. Went to get a gel manicure, she made me bleed on 3 of my nails filed them in a horrible shape and smudged all of them before trying to put on a top coat. used to go allthe time when i lived in merrick. moved a couple of towns away ,in the area today so decided to get a mani new owners did not know. barel spoke english. asked if i wanted a free massage. i said sure why not. girl charged me...lucy all of a sudden did not understand. then insulted me and wanted me to get myt eyebrows waxed. i never would in one of those placeds i use european wax horrible mani aggavating to say the least old owners and girls were wonderful this place awful i would never go back. used to be impossible to get in no matter the weather. only myself and another lady there within a place it will be gone. sticking with the new place i found near my home oscar nails never straying again read more

Had to stop going there for nails because I got fungus on my fingernails.. their pedicures are awesome though.. love the 10 minute massage
